The worst customer service
January 5, 2022

I order a few things from this online store it's 3 months and still I haven't received my order. When requesting a full refund I was told I would only receive half of what was paid when in all of this they can't deliver on time. They hide behind email don't even have a contact number where this can be solved. When ordering it showed I would receive my package before Christmas and that never happened! Every time the delivery date changes and nothing gets delivered. Wondering if it will even fit when my little girl receives it.

With much regret, I read your daughter her gift didn't arrive in time for Christmas, please accept our sincere apology. It seems this package was shipped less than 2 months ago, and that you've chosen our most economical shipping method. Airmail packages usually take between 20-25 business days to be delivered. We are very sorry for this delay, since by now you should already have received the order. The logistic department told me it could take another 2-3 weeks before the package arrives in South Africa. As we find this delay quite unacceptable as well, my manager suggested the refund of this order and offer the dress and shoes for free. I think this is the least we can do to make up this mistake. We would not dare to offer you less than a full refund and a well-meant apology.

Hi, I'm writing a review so everybody can be aware that these pictures on their website may look presentable and appealing however, their product made of of the poorest quality material ever existed in this planet. Their style is extremely terrible. The colours are not as described in this website must be a joke, there cannot be such a place exist in today's world and people don't know about it

Not satisfied with LightinTheBox.com

LightinTheBox.com, I have an issue with them. I bought a number of items from them and I need them to send me their address to send items back to LightinTheBox.com because there are some items I just don't like, some items are the wrong color and 1 item damaged. LightinTheBox.com has run me in circles on line without giving me their address as of yet.

Don't be Scared
October 4, 2017

Many people will say not to trust a company from China, but I am really impressed with Light in the Box. I ordered my wedding shoes from them and absolutely loved them. I have yet to try other products, but they seem to be legitimate and trustworthy. Also, the shipping time did not take that long, maybe about 2 weeks after placing order, I received my product.

Lying company

This company is based in China. When you buy stuff from them and it inevitably comes and is poor quality and not fit for purpose, they then make returns so complicated you end up not bothering. I can only imagine all these positive reviews are fake. The quality of products is bad, customer service bad, returns process near impossible. Terrible company

2ndREVIEW: RETURN RESOLVED

The quality of the dresses is lovely. The return issue was resolved well as the customer service supervisor made an exception for my situation. Be aware that all gowns are made to measure whether or not you order standard size or send in your measurements. There are no returns for these.

Please be noted all our Wedding Events dresses are "Made-To-Measure" products. It did not mean the dresses were made based on your measurements. It means that we did not have any dress in stock. After you placed this order, we asked our supplier to tailor two NEW dresses for you specially.

We also clearly state this information on the product page. You will be easily to find below statement below "Add to Cart" button:

【This is a Made-To-Measure item, which is produced one by one. All sizes and color choices, including all custom measurements, require additional tailoring time.】

Based on our policy, usually we are unable to accept return for non-quality Made-To-Measure products. However, I truly value you as our customer and do really want to help you, so I'd like to find a better solution for you.

Unique products and great service

I have ordered from Light In The Box on several occasions and have been consistently pleased with the products and service they have provided. This company offers a collection of unique items which I can find nowhere else, and delivers exactly what is advertised. Shipping costs seem reasonable, and my orders are always received within a reasonable amount of time. Most of them arrive unexpectedly early. I am very happy with my experiences with this company, and will certainly continue to enjoy their products.

I ordered a formal dress online, size 8. It was more like a size 4. Tried to return it, tags still attached, next day after it arrived. They said this item is not returnable! No reason. So I am $200 in the whole. NEVER would I trust this company. Very disappointed.

Terrible

I've sent already 3 emails regarding my shipment and still no answer received from Customer Service
Tracking ************** already 1 month paid and still not delivered and showing Delay transit since 28 days without any change or update on the web. No money refund, no replies, no hope with this site.

Buyers be aware! Nothing I ordered resembles what the depicted photo and description says. It appears that the items sold are merely cheaply made replicas. Shipping took a few weeks... that part was ok. The size, quality and overall experience is a joke.

Wild change in price
December 7, 2021

After buying the light for 1 day and checked back the price dropped significantly (from $208.13 to below $100 and the current price is now $151.03). When it finally arrived, the cover for the circuit board had already fallen off and the base doesn't fit US junction box. Because the shipping cost is so high ($61.49), it's just doesn't make sense to return. Hope they see this review and reach out to refund the over charged part.

Magic in the box

I love the wall hanging pictures, amazing colours and quality, just like shown on the Pictures. Very good price, so I bought many of them for presents... only long time waiting... It would be nice If more of the dresses and T- Shirts and jackets would be made of Cotton, Natural Material, less electrical uploading and sweating... Me and other customers would buy even more. But thank you for quick writing back, so good customer service in that point.

Scams

Purchase some clothing never got what I order. They are thieves I received overcoat not dresses when I reach out to them telling them I hate material they said sorry its was custom made what I never seem anything like this shame on your company robber poor people they should close this site. I offered to return for something else no can do highway robbery. Close your site not a reputable site if you want cheap affordable clothing that's fair go to shein.

Gorgeous shoes!

I was initially worried about my purchase as my parcel was coming from China. However once it was shipped I could track it all the way. Delivery was a little bit longer than stated on the website but the tracking option gave me peace of mind. When I received my shoes they fitted perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I would recommend this site.

Shirts are terrible and return policy sucks

I ordered four shirts. Three of them were way smaller than the size indicates. I noticed the same comme t in other reviews Return policy is that I have to pay for shipping back to China. Horrible experience.

I wish I could rate it a 0!

Against my better judgment I ordered from this place and using their size chart I ordered 2 sizes larger than what I wear. What was delivered didn't even have a size tag on it and it was no where near an xl for an adult! Contacted customer service and of course they used every excuse under the sun to avoid issuing a refund. Needless to say I am out of $50+
