I was dubious about using light in a box even though a friend had recommended them to me. We are getting married in September and so are looking to save costs. Well I was not disappointed! I placed me Order on 3rd February expedited delivery - I also paid the insurance tax and customs insurance so my total order was £83.00 for a veil, tiara and 5 x tie, cufflink, handkerchief and tie pin sets - For this money I wasn't expecting much but figured it wasn't too much too lose if they turned out to be terrible quality... I could not be happier! My delivery arrived this morning and the quality is amazing! - I did have an issue with customs tax - DHL sent me an invoice for £26.00 for this - I opened a ticket with Light in the box and they immediately came back asking for a copy ( picture) of the invoice - I sent this and within 24 hours I had a message to say they were refunding me the full £26.00 as I had taken the insurance. So all in all I am over the moon and will be returning to light in the box to order extra items!

Took forever and was 3 sizes too small. I gave to my 7 year old. First time I have had a negative experience. From now on I know If I wear a 2xl I have to order a 5xl

My mother and I ordered two head pieces for a wedding, and even payed the full wack of £12.? For it to be delivered in 3-4 working days. Well over a week and the morning of the wedding- STILL NOTHING
Also sent TWO tickets in panick asking about it and never recieved a reply
For the sake of a extra few poinds I would goto more reliable websites to ensure you get what you pay for abd actually arrive after paying a lot extra to ensure this.

Plus the order tracking service was very accurate and the free shipping was good
I had ordered clothing from them, and they sent me a tracking number. It told me it was delivered a week before but it wasn't. When I emailed their support, they told me to "kindly be patient its on its way" and linked me the tracking number that said it had arrived (it didn't)
Trying to explain this simple problem to them was impossible. It would take them a day or two at a time to respond. I don't think they even read my messages. I got the same old "kindly be patient its coming" messages.
The 5th time I asked for a refund or for it to be re-sent, I asked for a supervisor/manager and I got an email from the same address claiming to be. But this time they told me to "provide proof that it never arrived." WHAT? How can I prove that I don't have something? I asked my mailman and he just laughed and said that was ridiculous. They refused to refund my money because I couldn't prove that I never received the item. I deleted my account after trying 9 times to get someone to help me. Never ever ever again. I don't care if they even bother replying here (company) as it's not worth the frustration of dealing with them to possibly by some miracle get a refund of the money I lost. I tried for weeks..

Like some of the products but they sent me the wrong color choice and I couldn't get a response about the mixup. Wasn't worth packaging it up and sending it back.

Good quality, beautiful things, good services! I always order on this site. It is a very serious team.
I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, actually two dresses. One I ordered a year ago and then another in August because the first had gotten smaller, or I got bigger. I decided to cancel the second dress within a day or so only to be told the day I ordered a custom made dress that it had been shipped. Back and forth for days until they wouldn't stop making the dress and shipped it anyway.
I am still trying to get them to tell me how to send this dress back but keep getting the run-around. The first dress ordered did fit for the wedding but 1 5min. Into the wedding I heard a "rip" and noticed the top had ripped from the bottom at the waist. I hadn't done anything but get in a car and walk to the venue and it had ripped and appeared it had only been basted together because white thread was showing and the dress was a navy one.
The mother of the bride also had a terrible experience with this company. When she took it out of the box to try it on she saw that they had forgotten to sew one side of the zipper to the dress. She has been able to get her money refunded but I'm still arguing with them.
I want full refund for the second dress since I cancelled long before they began making it and there is no reason they should have continued making it.
My suggestion, do not EVER buy from Light in the Box unless you have money to throw away on what turns out to be shoddy merchandise.
Great clothes at an awesome price. Delivery took a bit longer than expected but they more than made up for it with a future order discount.

Order the beach pants and although I'd read complaints about shipping time on facebook, I felt my pants arrived in a reasonable amount of time.
The pant is very nice…could have had a bigger size but like them. Not quite true to size.
Lightinbox peddles inferior quality products that barely resemble the advertised picture. Shipment is delayed, Summer t-shirts ordered are made of not cotton but shiny, sticky, non-breathing polyester material. It is a total health hazard for humid-hot weather. Return process is cumbersome, not customer friendly. Although company specifies a 7 day return for any reason, the preliminary request for permit and return label are denied without explanation. There is no contact phone number to Customer (Dis)Service. Web site chat is not available. No mailing address published. Is this a fly-by-night operation?
I cancelled pending further orders due to the above facts and shocking bad experience. In return I received two emails to offer me 20% off or 30% off toward future purchases. Also, they made a pathetic attempt to convince me not to cancel any prior, unshipped order, stating of their hardship to cancel an order.
I must know: are these employees dense or just plainly slow? Or are they follow an evil, unscrupulous, money-hungry company policy?
Why would I ever want to deal with a scammer? Loosing 100% payment for unacceptable trash does not equate with the offered 20-30% off. And the insult to offer it for future purchases! Never!
I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and published my grievances in every social media.

There's more legit company like Amazon where I bought the same one I ordered from Lightinabox, which I did not received. Sorry, but I would not trust this Co for anything. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
