LG stole over £600
I've ordered a monitor a week and a half in advance for a birthday. On the day of the delivery I was informed by the delivery company that LG has not dispatched my order. After calling them multiple times and being told that they will only have the item in stock almost a week later, I've decided to cancel.
I was told that it will take 19 working days to get a refund, which was already ridiculous, but now 10 days later, I'm being told that that's it's going to take another 14! Working days for the refund ( and that's after I had to call them to get this information).

Biggest piece of advice! Get your stuff on Amazon or smt. Just not on LG, unless you want to get your money stolen.

My brand new fridge on the freezer side had a defective seal and everything was covered in freezer burn. They were willing to replace the fridge but I was out of luck on the $200 of food their fridge damaged. They refused to put us thru to a supervisor. I ended up cancelling the order and buying a better product.

Don't waste your time or money on this company, they SUCK! They should be embarrassed!

LG refrigerator

Got an LG refrigerator from Lowe's. Thought it would be good since her TVs are good but I was wrong. I will never buy another LG refrigerator as long as I live because it's made very poorly especially when trying to replace the water filter and nothing works very right the water taste like plastic and call the service department and they suck. Want me to use tools to move something around that can break They suck.

INFERIOR SHELVING

I am telling everyone I know NOT TO BUY LG PRODUCTS. The shelving, drawers and supports in my refrigerator began to crack within 2 years after I purchased it. I finally emailed customer service when they became dysfunctional. Because the parts were out of warranty, they were no help at all. I even offered to buy new parts at cost. No help. A year later the glass shelving shattered because its support had failed. A call to LG customer service resulted in the same. Still no help from LG. The cost of replacing all the broken parts is $500. You would be shocked to see the pictures there are plenty more I didn't add, including my son's bloody foot from stepping on shattered glass.

Portable room air conditioner was recalled. They won't perform the needed service. They've scheduled, cancelled appointments, 3 times now. If you lovely folks, at LG, want to challenge my claim. Please, go ahead. I've got every email, and every text.

DO NOT BUY

We bought a brand new appliance package from home depot in December. Refrigerator went out within 6 weeks of install. LGs customer service is the absolute worst experience I've ever had. We are now going on 5 weeks and they have done absolutely nothing for us. I will never buy another product from LG EVER again!

Made cheaply

W bought an LG thin q oven a little over a year ago. Now all of the numbers around the stovetop temperature dials are rubbing off. I've never had that happen before. I called customer service and was transferred twice before i gave up. Is there any other recourse?

Dishwasher was a DUD
October 18, 2022

VERY upset. Just bought a new LG dishwasher over a year ago and it stopped working. Had a few repair men in and they said it needs 850$ worth of repairs. It originally cost me 950$. No idea how we can't get help with this. Saved for the dishwasher for months :( I'd give less than one star if I could

I was successful in booking an alleged reputable repair for fridge only if I entered a credit card, successfully cancelled it with 24 hours with LG as I was able to fix the ice fan myself (thank you YouTube) but the "pending" charge remained and was not refunded even 16 days post cancellation. That is fraud in my books. They say they need two billing cycles to refund money?! No one else needs that much time to refund money? Why do they? Still out $340. So do not order repair through LG. Or better yet do not buy LG appliances (based on posted reviews)

Ordered an A/C

Ordered an AC that was in stock, order never delivered. The take your money and never update you the item is no longer available. When I was going to order another AC more expensive too they have no intentions of compensating like providing free shipping. The customer service people just say "sorry" 200x. Not only would I never buy a product from this company but would actively let my friends and family know how bad LG is and to go with another other brand on the market because I never had such an aggravating experience. "Life's Good"

LG front load washer
November 28, 2021

My LG front load washer is not even 6 months old. Today it stopped working. I tried everything possible to figure out what was wrong, including a reset. Nope. Just wont wash. I was leery about buy LG to begin with, as they are made in South Korea, but it had good reviews and I know many people with them. I should've gone with my gut instinct and not bought these. I am so mad at myself for caving. And now I have piles of laundry, a machine that does not work. They cant get me service until next week. DO NOT BUY LG

Refrigerator

I dont even give them 1 star. How do you get an appliance fixed by them?! Our refrigerator is still under warranty, and I've been hung up on told something different each time I call, they cant find a technician is there answer. I will NEVER buy lg again and recommend anyone NOT to because they lie, and dont want to fix anything, wont replace, or refund.! Horrible customer service,! Lg is junk.

I have 3 LG products in the house and they are all garbage. No customer service available. 2 months waiting for dishwasher to be fixed without any resolve in site. Don't get me started on the crap TVs. Software issues all day and night. Nobody has time for this. This is just poor products and service. Don't buy them.

Purchased LG LED TV... within warranty period the scroll of remote thrust inside even when it was used with utmost care & caution by two adult persons...when complained it said to be physical damage by both technician & LG Senior head Prince Ojha even without visiting & seeing the remote which is not covered in warranty & for which I have to pay for remote replacement as well as delivery charges...the LG senior head was also very rude...it was my first purchase from the brand & in future would never ever purchase any product...& would also try to go to consumer forum & lodge a complaint so that they are penalised for the same...so please avoid this brand since my experience was horrible

Bought our new fridge on Black Friday deal last November. Waited to install it until our house was done being built which was a month ago. Until then the fridge sat in my parents garage. When we moved in a month ago we Installed our "new" fridge and got an error code "CHE". Had a service guy out here 3 times and still not working. The customer service people are very unhelpful and rude. Will never buy a LG unit again. Very disappointed! Won't recommend LG to anyone. We have 9 month old twins and not having a working fridge isn't OK! I would give them a 0 star rating.

Purchased an LG french door fridge. Compressor and ice maker gave up in 2020. They sent a guy to replace the compressor. After replacing compressor starting making much louder noise. After 1 year it gave up again and now they are not trying to cover any part of the labor. Their customer service if full of immature people who constantly hang up on you. Moved to Bosch.

Don't fall for their products even if they provide discounts. Extremely poor quality appliances.

Do not buy LG

Buyer Beware they are horrible they do not cover there product we bought a refrigerator and it has such a bad chemical smell and they say we did it! It started in the ice and we haven't been able to use our refrigerator makes all your food taste horrible had to throw everything away! Do not trust this company our refrigerator was only 4 months old! Now they let the year warranty run out! I've called every week since July repairman even said it's brand new they will replace well no replacement! Now they let the warranty expire!

Terrible Warranty Service

LG expects us to wait 2+ weeks for warranty service. This is like no service at all. Unacceptable.
Not to mention that the Dryer has failed 9 months after purchase.
Their customer service reps are in the Phillipines, communicate over very poor lines, and are incomprehensible. Nor are they competent.

Horrible customer service. Terrible brand.

Lg products are not reliable and the customer service is non existence. We bought an entire kitchen appliance set. The gas range came with a gas leak. Manufacturer defect for sure. Impossible to get a hold of a live rep. And when you do their response is "someone will call you back." No one ever does. They attempted to send a technician with parts. But that didnt fix the issue. They promised a refund then closed our account. Took us weeks to get a hold of someone to have it reopened. Still no return call back and no refund check. We have been without a stove for almost 6 months now. Hard thing to live without. $1400 down the drain. We are furious. Companies should always return the money to a customer if they sell them a defected unusable product. I highly recommend NOT to buy LG products. I never will again and I will be spreading the word.

Known problem with wall ovens burning out if you use self clean cycle. Oven still under warranty. Three service calls and LG was tolby technician they sent that oven has to be replaced. I call for one hour every week, I am promised a call by supervisor and I have never gotten one. 14 weeks no oven. Worst customer service I have ever encountered
