HORRIBLE "Customer Service" delivered during a "fully covered" warrantee repair on our LG Refrigerator. How did I, and how would anyone, manage to go without a refrigerator for 2 MONTHS while these "Customer Service" clowns work out the procedures for a Letter of Authorization to be granted to a servicer to repair a new refrigerator still under full warranty? They covered the part (although it took several parts which we NOT covered to repair the unit) and labor leaving me with a $500 cost to pay for a fully warranted repair! 2 months and several (more than 6) calls to customer service is enough to teach me a valuable lesson. Fool me once... Never again.
I bought an LG refrigerator new from Lowe's in January 2020. 2. 5 years later in July 2022 the compressor failed and we lost all contents of our freezer and refrigerator. We contacted LG, along with several repair techs and it was confirmed that our compressor had failed. We could not find anyone willing to fix it and LG refused to help get us a repair tech and refused to honor their 5 year parts and labor warranty on the compressor. We had no choice but to buy a new unit. I could not believe this treatment from such a large and well-known corporation so I googled this issue to see if anyone else encountered this. WOW now I know what horrible ethics this company has and how greedy they are and how little they take care of their consumers! They had a class action lawsuit against them for this very issue that happened with my refrigerator, and they STILL have given me the runaround and have refused to help. Now, after complaining to the BBB, they are somehow able to find a tech that can come to my house sending someone out to 'fix' my unit more than 5 weeks later. That does me NO good at this point and they know it. What a smack in the face! A refund and reimbursement for lost food would be the RIGHT thing for this multimillion dollar corporation to do.
We had been happy with the fridge we have owned (LG) for 4.5 years until the cooling coil (?) broke and we are living for nearly 2 weeks now with coolers in our kitchen for food. The reason why it is so long (and still is unresolved) is that LG will not document our issues as we are on Call #5 now and when we are told someone will call us back, they never do, and then we call them again and are told "There's no record of anything". The work order has not been processed and they are completely inadequate with customer service. They seem like a non-business or as if someone's cousin is covering for a few weeks and yet we spent 2500 for a fridge that busted in under 5 years and they are not taking responsibility for customers spending hard earned money on their faulty products. I've been told that LG fridges are known for the breakdown of the cooling element (which is what happened to ours) and yet LG just keeps letting them break and giving customers the runaround. This is the first and last LG we will ever own (TV, fridge, washer, you name it). As we have found out, all was good until it wasn't and then you see how well the company handles problems. LG is so far the worst of any company we've had to deal with on warranties/break downs etc. They get an F.
Water Leak Came 4 times with cursory attempts to find it and failed all 4 times. Reported to LG in his report that it was repaired which was FALSE! Still leaks one month later and LG customer service won't refund the $450 since the tech filed a false report? DO NOT BUY LG!
I bought a new LG washtower. The dryer never worked and the washer broke in the first 6 months. I spent 6 months calling LG and waaayyyy too much time trying to get them to honor the warrenty. It was finally accepted and parts were ordered, but never came. When I called to inquire, they said my case had been closed. Every call is taken in the Phillipines and no one cares or connects the story correctly, so I had to start over every call. The managers and higher-ups aren't accessable. They say they will call back but don't. I've never had a worse experience with a company. It was totally unprofessional and we lost out in the end, giving away the tower and buying a better, used Whirlpool.
Very poor service. Customer service and their product are garbage. I bought a refrigerator cost almost $3,000 and it broke for using it for less than 2 years.
My new Range panel control stop working after 2 months I called the customer service they sent some one to fix it they had to order the parts witch it took couple of weeks 3 weeks after the panel stop working again I called the customer service they sent some one again he ordered the parts worked for 2-3 weeks and stopped working again I called the customer service they said they going to replace the whole range it's been 3 months I have no range I call the customer service every week they always say some one will call me in 24 hours but no one calls
This posting would be my 5th today. Our LG refrigerator stopped cooling over 7 weeks ago and, still out of commission. I was not aware during that time that LG have an existing 5 year extended warranty of their refrigerator ours included due to faulty compressor. Online research led me to the extended warranty and in the process, requested over the phone repair request with LG's customer service with weekly call/chat for update of said request. Just last week, I spoke with one of the supervisors requesting escalation of my request. Today, I learned that my repair request was cancelled due to lack of third party services! And out of desperation, I sent two emails over a week ago to LG's President hoping to get assistance but, still waiting for response/result! I am fully aware of the current environment (covid) but, I refuse to believe that a big corporation such as LG is powerless or, incapable of exerting influence to third party service providers to help it's customers! Specially considering the length of time our refrigerator have been out of service! I am tired of the lip service I get every time I make the call/chat to the customer service! To those reading this post; save yourself the headache specially during this current environment and stay away from LG Brand refrigerator until the company can get it's act together.
I have an LG v40 now, my previous one was LG G7, also will be getting Velvet soon. Love the sound, DAC is so great idea to add to the phone! Genious! Are you planning to continue selling phones?
I've had 5 different versions of the HBS headset and they've all had their problems. Since LG used to be the only brand with retractable buds, I kept coming back in spite of the problems. They offer a one year warranty, but that's only on paper. I've had 3 different sets die at 11 months in. They repaired them and sent them back before (never an easy process), but not this time. I explained to support that this set literally fell apart (with one month left on the warranty) while on my neck--as in, I DID NOT DAMAGE THEM! I was told that I could send them in and that they would have to look at them and decide whether to fix them or not based on if there was physical damage. They sent them back to me still broken noting "ABUSE-PHYSICAL DAMAGE." The way I take this is that without any kind of proof, they are calling me a liar. They broke at a weak point in the design (see photo), which to me is obvious. Check reviews for this product on their own site and note how many reviews are about this same design flaw. How dumb is this? They were willing to pay the shipping both ways, have a technician look at them, at which point it would have taken seconds to fix them and repay brand loyalty! But they chose to call the customer a liar. LG makes many products. Ask me if I will EVER buy anything branded LG.

I purchased the above just over 2 years ago. The first year was working as advertised, then a rapid decline in its efficiency.
The clothes were generally damp after completion of the cycle and the cycle kept resetting-sometimes to taking up to 10 hours a load.
I contacted LG. They sent out a technician who replaced two pumps on 2 separate occasions, replaced the water diverter on another occasion and also replaced the sensor.
The condensation in the drum was huge, so much so that the moisture then escaped from the door onto the floor on every load, despite me cleaning the seal repeatedly and ensuring there was no fluff on the door and seal.
The customer service was so automated. The amount of times I was told "I really want to fix this for you" and "I understand" was incredibly frustrating.
Eventually (after me chasing LG up again and again), I spoke to the resolution team which was a total waste of time. I was told the technician found nothing wrong and the machine was in working order and I would have to contact the service technician myself, if I wanted it looked at again and would be charged if no fault found.
It was like losing an uphill battle.
All I can do now is to advise people never to buy LG products and that I should have looked at LG reviews prior to buying one of their products, as there are countless unfavourable reviews.
I have LG smart TV purchased about 2-3 years ago. It keeps interrupting the streaming. I tried changing Router first. I tried recommended procedures in the internet. All attempts failed.
BOUGHT AN LG WASHER IN JAN 2022 AND LG HAS ADDED A DEEPER DRUM TO THEIR WASHERS. I WAS SATISFIED WITH MY PREIVOUS LG WASHER BUT THE DEEPER DRUM IS SIMPLY NOT FOR EVERYONE. AM 5'2" AND HAVE TO STAND ON A STOOL TO REACH THE CLOTHES. SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT SELLING THIS MODEL.
We purchased a 65 inch LG NANO TV in January of 2022. The TV has developed a large white spot on the screen. Called aN Image Burn. This TV was purchased at COSTCO. We have the LG one year limited warranty, the Allstate warranty and a COSTCO extended warranty. LG sent us to Allstate and COSTCO. Allstate and COSTCO sent us back to LG. LG REFUSES to accept any responsibility. They told us the COSTCO extended warranty should cover this. This an LG 65NANO85APA. We paid $850 and are getting nothing but a big run around. It's less than 7 months old. I give them a zero.

LG refused to refund me for my tv I purchased (LG Nano). The tv broke down 2 months after buying it, LG made me jump through hoops just to finally get a technician to fix it, but they cancelled the repair after a week which my tv wasn't fixed and still with the technician. Then I was told I will get a full refund instead. BUT AT THE END, they completely refused the refund and Jarmine from LG was completely rude, talked over me, and put words in my mouth. SUPPOSEDLY customers are able to email LG president and I complained TWICE via email, but him/her has completely ignored my emails and complaints. Leadership lead by example so I can clearly see why Jarmine was rude and the other customer service representatives are incompetent in their work because their president refuses to answer or acknowledge the refund which their employees told me I will get. FALSE STATEMENTS!
