Hello, i shipped my bose frames and lenses to Lensabl, they fabricated my new lenses (progressive Rx plus responsive to light changes), they arrived but did not fit in glasses frames (quality control hiccup, but no worries... yet), i shipped them back, they remade the lenses and shipped back to me, this took me time to figure out, but after validating with my eye doctor office (visits and $), the lenses are not cut properly, and they bend the frame as a result, so the frame sits on my face with a "V" shape, thus distorting the progressive lenses, which causes me to be dizzy/spacy, its not the lens that is out of proportion, its that the lenses do not sit flat in the frame. In addition, when i recieved the "rework" on the second shipment, Lensabl did not return my Bose case and Bose green lenses, they said its not their responsibility as indicated in terms and conditions. So here i am, i have Lensable lenses that are incorrectlly cut to my frames, causing the frames to bow into a V, and distorting the correction of the lenses. Please send me Authorization to return these to Lensabl once more for re work and i will be very happy. Sorry it took so long, but i travel and had to make appointments with my eye doctor to figure this out, i can send pictures if you like. Thanks in advance for helping to make this right. I'm patient and do not seek a refund, just make them properly so they can be worn. I look forward to making a raving 5 star review after you correct a workmanship error.
I sent my frames in to Lensabl on November 24,2020.
On 12.14.2020 Lensabl confirmed receipt of my frames.
On 12.21.2020 Lensabl maintained that they couldn't confirm my prescription.
(My prescription had been updated and was on file from another order just 30 days earlier.)
Ok my bad, I immediately sent my prescription and contacted Lensabl to confirm receipt on 12.22.2020.
They opened a ticket to investigate what the status of my frames was.
Lensabl responds reporting status saying your order will be shipped in six days.
Then six more days. And then six more days. Finally on January 12, I decide to contact Lensabl for an update and get a note that their QC found problems with the lenses and sent them back to be "reworked."
We have been nice to know without the wait.
Finally on February 2, yeah, Groundhog Day! Lensabl says the order shipped.
On February 3,2021 I finally have my glasses.
In have been a customer for about four years.
Service has progressively deteriorate and customer service is an oxymoron with Lensabl.
Since the price is at a premium, it seemed the service was worth paying for.
When you claim you will deliver – you need to live-up to your claims.
Sadly, after my two most recent experiences I no longer believe Lensabl claims nor does it seem worth the money.
I saved significant money using to this service. They sent a confirmation when they got my frames.
I am happy with the lenses, but there was not much communication after I placed the order, until the order was shipped.
I bought 2 of the same sunglass frames and 2 new regular glasses frames and sent those off to Lensabl. I ordered TWO of the same sunglass lenses and TWO different eyeglasses transitional lenses specifying which pair of glasses gets what.
So they put transition lenses on my sunglasses and sunglass lenses on my eyeglasses. I sent back the sunglasses and eyeglasses. I then noticed the pair of sunglasses that had the right lenses was not right. The depth perception was WAY off making everything look shorter. They wanted me to take another picture with those frames on so they could adjust. Fair enough. I sent those back.
It took weeks to receive my other pair of sunglasses, which also needed the lenses fixed due to depth perception. At least they got the right lenses on. But the eyeglasses I sent back that they put the sunglass lenses on, came back with the same lenses (sunglass) I sent to them. So I sent those back.
It's been almost 5 months since I placed my initial order. My sunglasses are still being worked on. They recently sent my eyeglasses back with what I assume are the correct lenses, but I can't wear them because they broke the frame in the process. I sent them an email regarding this and they have not responded.
Horrible experience. I would have been better off going to a store. I'll never do an online lense replacement again, at least not through Lensabl.

I bought a pair of smart frames from razer when I received it from razer I made sure everything worked and was in the box appropriately. I then mailed the box with everything inside, which would be the 2 sets of lenses that razer send one being a blue light filter lense and a sunglasses lense, along with my charger for the frames and the frames(obviously) i maild it on on may the 5th theyre website states a 2 week turnaround, I contacted them and I kept getting the runaround. Oh your lenses failed inspection, oh it takes longer for transitions and anti reflective, when I ordered my lenses it never said anything about extra time. Well finally i just received my glasses yesterday and they didn't send back the original 2 sets of lenses or my charger, now I have a dead set of smart glasses that are useless in regards to what they are supposed to do ive emailed lensable no reply ive called razer and they don't sell the charger individually and im not spending another 200$ on frames so lensable has screwed me on that. I also payed for the green transition lenses and they don't even turn green they barely glare green. I would not buy from them again with their carelessness
I will tell you about my last 3 years that I been placing orders to them.
First year I will not complain, everything was perfect, I loved my glasses, their were fantastic.
Second year something went wrong, but hey, everybody have mistakes, they misread my prescription and boom, when they arrived I couldn't use them because I couldn't see, blurry sight, so I send them back to remake them, so that take another month, plus the 3 weeks that they took at first, any way, it was the first time making something wrong so I could live with it.
Third time on their site tracker the production didn't moved, so I called and see what's the deal, and they said that I missed the pupillary distance which it was false since you can read it in the prescription that I sent to them, when my glasses arrived, surprisingly I can see a fingerprint from somebody that touched when they were coating them, the coat was fresh and they didn't care, for unbelievable that it looked they sent me my glasses like that, so as you can figure it out, I have to returned them back, so her we go again, another month to "redo" or should I said to repair their mistake, that's it to me, enough is enough, there isn't another chance for "Lensable", a work that takes 2 weeks these guys turned it into a month or more, that is unacceptable, on top of that now I need to find another reliable company to make my glasses.
So there you go, hope it's serviceable the review for you.
I was not happy and your refund policy states through are willing to return, I was ignored keep on mind I had almos10 glasses not eve after for the huge amount I invested
I purchased prescription sunglass lenses and decided to pay the premium for the polarization option.
If you choose non-polarized lenses you get to choose the darkness level of the lenses. With the polarized option you don't.
When you choose the polarization option, it doesn't state anywhere during the checkout process that the polarized lenses are not as dark as the non-polarized option (tinted lenses)
The polarized lens tints come stock and they cannot make them any darker.
So I am stuck with some sunglasses that just aren't that dark. I can even look at myself in the mirror and see my eyes through the lenses.
Lensable did offer to re-do my order and use tinted lenses instead of the polarized ones - but I would have to pay 70% of the cost.
So the first time I paid $227. They offered to re-do them for another $120.
I decided not to take them up on the offer as I don't want two pairs of sunglasses (one that I'm not happy with) that cost me almost $350
Lensabl did fine on the actual lenses. I just wish I had all the information up-front before making a purchase. Lensabl: Add more information to your website during the checkout process.
Tl;dr - liars that took six weeks to get me lenses.
Shipped two sets of frames in, they said they only received one.
Spent days "looking" for them, then told me they needed to buy replacements. Made me send photos of myself in the "lost" frames and spend time picking out a replacement as they were no longer available.
Tell me they've ordered them, then radio silence for a few weeks. I finally follow up and they tell me they received replacement and will get them right out.
Few more weeks go by till I follow up again, at this point they tell me they need additional prescription info. Okay, fine. Send it in.
Two weeks later I receive THE ORIGINAL FRAMES THEY SAID WERE LOST AND REPLACED.
Not sure if they just don't have their act together or if this is an intentionally malicious way they extend timelines on customers when they get backlogged - but I'm not the only person with the same experience.
Avoid these people, plenty of places to get lenses made for your frames. Not worth the headache.

I am a nurse who has to wear safety goggles or a shield over my glasses while at work due to Covid. I hated having to wear anything over my glasses and I had to tape my face mask down as well so it would stop the fogging. I found safety goggles that were stylish and used Lensable as their recommended prescription lens company. It was so easy to use Lensable, from putting in my prescription, to directions on taking a picture and uploading it to the site to get the correct measurements. I was a little skeptical due to the fact that I wear progressives and have never had great success with "anti fog"lenses, but when they arrived I could see clearly and the anti fog lenses really worked! The website said progressives could take up to 2 weeks, but I received mine in just over a week. The ordering process was so easy, they sent me a box to send my frames in and they kept me updated on when they received them as well as when they shipped them out. And the price! I can't believe how much cheaper it it was to get these lenses through Lensabl than what I usually pay through my optometrist! Even with getting the top of the line progressives, anti fog coating and safety lenses the price was less than half what I would have paid if I went through my optometrist or even lens crafters. I highly recommend Lensabl and know I will be using them again in the future!

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
