I ordered new contacts in March. They sent me the entirely wrong ones. They received them back into their system 3/29. It took them weeks to even acknowledge they had received them back. They finally did on 4/14. I waited until 5/3 to contact them regarding where my refund was. I asked for a total refund and they said shipping and handling wasn't refundable. I shouldn't have to pay $9.95 for THEIR MISTAKE. I contacted them again 5/28 and was told the refund was requested 5/3 but still not processed.
I WOULD FIND A DIFFERENT PROVIDER IF I WERE YOU THIS SITE IS A TOTAL SCAM ESPECIALLY THE REBATE OFFER.
AFTER MONTHS THIS IS THE EXPLANATION:
We have reached out to the Rebate Center which is located in another facility and they have confirmed your rebate is processing and moving through the necessary stages for fulfilling the rebate card to be mailed out. Each step of the process takes several weeks as the rebate requests are processed in bulk. We understand your frustration in this delay and appreciate your patience and understanding. We can assure you, you will receive the rebate card but we are unable to provide a specific mail date at this time.
Like most others, see their reviews, my rebate is basically fiction. Nice drawings on a web site, with no rebate sent... at this writing 6mos +. Lens.com keeps extending the processing time for the rebate. I have filed complaints with the MO Attorney General, BBB, and the FTC (not that I expect them to do anything).
I will not be using this company again.
I placed a contact lens order on 10/20/2021. Filled out my rebate form as per instructions. Never received the card. I have since moved, but gave them my new address. They now claim it was sent on 4/18/2022. Have still not received.
So easy! Will order from here again, so much better, quicker, and cheaper than 1800contacts!
THE TAXES AND FEES should be transparent. The bait & switch tactic of this website is appalling. Lens.com advertises $40 a box after rebate for the brand of contacts I order, but never shows the true price before rebate before taxes and fees, so it's dishonesty until checkout. You first have to type in your prescription info, then you can "add to cart" to see the actual price. Once you do, you're slapped with a $90 "tax offset + tax" fee on a $250 contact order. The "taxes & fees" information box explains "taxes are tax recovery charges for tax obligations where applicable and the fees are compensation for servicing your order" aka we're a greedy corporation passing along some hidden fees to you and hoping you dont notice.
I did the math. The subtotal came out to be ~$250 for 4 boxes = 62$ a box.
Then add on $90 taxes & fees + $10 shipping, you're at $343!
$343 divided by 4 = $85 per box! MORE THAN TWICE what they advertise.
And they reduced the rebate from what used to be $100 to now being $85.
$343 total - $85 rebate = $258.
Divide $258 by 4 boxes = $54.50 per box. NOT $40 a box like they advertise. And no free shipping.
And to add in an extra rude insult, they send you a free contact case with every order. I HATE wasteful plastic, and have unfortunately to use single use contacts. There's no way of removing the contact box! VERY dishonest company.
Then, when you're asked to leave a review of your order on Lens.com after placing your order, you type up your review, but oh wait, there's a glitch because you're asked to review the contacts as well and it shows there's an error even though you've filled in all the data. That opportunity to review the site only comes up in a pop up after you place the order & never again.
Rebate is a joke. I purchased contact lenses in December and went with lens.com because with rebate offer, they had the best price. Its now 6 months later and I'm still waiting for the rebate. I've emailed customer support on several occasions with no response. I will never purchase from them again.

Not sure how this site lists such a high rating for Lens.com. I have been waiting 6 months to get my rebate from my contact lens purchase and still no rebate. The funny thing is this company is asking me to order my next set of contact lenses before I receive the rebate from my first order. What a joke. Please shop elsewhere.
Answer: I am in the same boat. I have not received my rebate and filled out all the paperwork correctly. My order was 9/16/2021. They have not offered any assistance to help. I have reached out multiple times. They over charge with processing fees and then with the offer of a rebate... which is not easy to follow the directions. Yout have to fill out rebate form which is not available for 30 days and has to be filled out 60 days from purchase. Then 4 months later they will not send the rebate with an the response is to wait it will come... I have been hearing for 2 months.
