The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by widespread customer dissatisfaction regarding product quality and customer service. While some users appreciate the design and reliability of Lenovo devices, a predominant sentiment reveals issues such as poor build quality, frequent malfunctions, and inadequate support. Customers frequently report frustrating experiences with service delays, unhelpful representatives, and unresolved warranty claims, leading to a lack of trust in the company. This feedback suggests a critical need for improvements in product durability and customer service responsiveness to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Placed an order and cancel it, the customer service agent never canceled the ordered and the product was sent out. I called told them the order wasn't cancel and the product got shipped. The customer service agent said they need to return the product back to the wherehouse and the i would be refunded. It took 2 weeks to have the product sent back. 3 days after it was at the dock and confirmation from UPS that it was received at their dock they still haven't refunded me, Called again and asked for the refunded they said i had to wait 10 to 15 day for the refund. That's over 30 days for a refund, when they made the error on their end. I spoke to a supervisor since none of the agents could help me, he told me it would I would be refunded on Friday, it is now Monday and still no refund. The whole time customer service was horrid and couldn't believe such a big company like Lenovo had such horrid customer service. Never buying lenovo again due to horrible customer service.
Bought a Lenovo Active Pen 2 for Yoga 11/30 as a Christmas present for my grandson. Lenovo created a shipping label/charged me on 12/3. Shipping ETA was 12/10. By 12/14, tracking still reported the package had not arrived at UPS. Four days and countless customer service interactions later, they still will not tell me what happened, where the package is or when/if it will ship. Won't let me change the shipping destination (to my grandson) or cancel the order because they say it's "shipped." Coincidentally, the pen is sold via Amazon - but won't be available until Dec. 29! So my guess is that this is a product back-order and Lenovo did not acknowledge it online or via customer service responses. I feel that's deceptive, and I no longer trust Lenovo.
Don't buy a Lenovo computer! They take your order- charge you extra for next day shipping and then never ship it. There customer service is out of the country and after waiting more than an hour to talk to them, they don't help. The only people that answer calls are sales people. Once they take your order, they do not care if you ever receive your product. I was suppose to receive my computer over two weeks ago. What a scam.
Lenovo appears to be a foreign company. If you need any kind of customers service you will be calling to other countries speaking to non native English speakers. You will feel alone and victimized because they will promise you results and break those promises. You will be told to wait 24 to 48 hours every 24 to 48 hours. You will have no sure footing to stand on fight as you may because they are far away and cannot be touched. They will seem so kind yet they will snicker to their coworkers as they attempt to flatter you. Many before me have tried to get a refund and are still waiting. It wasn't even me that canceled the order. It was my sales rep who entered it wrong the first time causing him to create a new quote which I eagerly converted to a second order. The next day I noticed I had been charged a hefty sum twice! I am broke now and they refuse to give me a shipping label to even return the product. They don't refuse really they just keep promising it will come in 24 to 48 hours. Everyone who has dealt with them knows about 24 to 48 hours, an endless purgatory in time. If you choose Lenovo, you must know in your deepest being that that is what you want. Because you literally will never see that money again. I am known only as order #*******945
I use this laptop for school, but what I really don't like about it is that whenever I get on a zoom meeting, the audio sometimes glitches out and then it just stops.
Lenovo might be good only for his employees not for public. I have bought Lenovo laptop three months ago but one month ago some issues occurred in keyboard and I did complaint regarding it but till now there is no response from Lenovo service. And after watching this bad service I come to the point that it is not reliable service. This Lenovo service only do false promises. And at last I would like to call to the public that beware from buying these Lenovo products
Lenovo is the best quality of laptops provided. Super Hd display with keyboard lights. I love this laptop so much. This is affordable ranges and its best for work and study purposes. Thanks for the good service and the free laptop bag.
I recently bought the 8th generation Lenovo v 14 and it is powered by the Intel Core i3-8130U (8th Gen) processor, combined with 4 GB of RAM. It has a good battery life, Convenient keyboard, Doesn't use PWM for brightness adjustment (AUO203D). No Type-C port and the RJ-45 connector are the only negative thing about this.
Horrible Chromebook experience. Doesn't connect to Wi-Fi and if connected, drops off within few minutes. I called the customer service and they say they need the serial number which is no where to be found. No sticker at the bottom of the device nor in the settings. Its on a cardboard box that we get at the time of purchase.
I order something that should be deliverd in 1 to 3 days. Almost 2 weeks are gone and i still didnt get my order. I am calling like desperate the customer service and nobody can give me information about my order. They say to me the order is at the moment out of stock. But when i go to the link where i bought it, it still says the order is on stock... all what they say is if i want to give my order up. But i dont want this. Really
Disappointed for such a big company to have such a bad organisation..
I bought this thing in December and just pulled it out in August. I know didn't need it that bad. I got an 11" which is to small, I hate it but that's my fault. The keyboard is awkward and hard to type on. (Could be that it is because it's 11"). It CONTSTANTLY does pop ups. I can't get them to stop. It wants me to upgrade this or that. It is brand new, I don't need to upgrade anything! These pop ups will block what I am working on and sit there until they feel like going away or feel I have gotten a really good look at the ad. I have to pay for every little thing. Microsoft Office, Virus Protection, it came with none of that the first year. I am getting ready to start a bookkeeping job from home and I will have to buy a new one (that is bigger, again on me) faster and more user friendly. I have not had contact with customer service so I can not speak as to their service. My sister saw it and said they use them at her office and they hate them. She didn't specify why I just agreed. When you give up, you give up. There are better rated laptops on Amazon for the same price or less that come with more features.
Worst customer service ever. I simply wanted to replace my charger under their warranty because my laptop charger gave out after 4 months. I talked to someone back in July, they said they placed an order and it would arrive within the next 2 weeks. It never came so i contacted them again and they proceeded to tell me they could not do it, and connected me to "someone who could". This goose chase continued for SEVEN OTHER PEOPLE. Over the course of 2 days on both chat and phone call. (I really need the charger for school.) I was pretty frustrated by now, and finally got to someone who told me it isn't part of the warranty and I would need to purchase it (which is fine.) The previous SEVEN PEOPLE did not even try to help me resolve this issue then! Why didn't they just tell me in the first place? Never again am I buying form Lenovo as the customer service is the worst and clearly incompetent and uninformed of their own companies policies.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15 is a nice product but the battery is inadequate to serve off plug for more than a couple of hours w/o needing add'l charging. You have to purchase the more expensive YOGA to get a solid battery. Only other concern - I have the 3 year onsite warranty. They were to "send someone to assess why the camera is not functioning". They never did. Then the came covid and the laptop stopped booting so now it is all on me to get them the laptop and wait... Concerned I'll be w/o it for quite sometime. We will see. I love my Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop.
Do not buy from Lenovo.com, it is not worth the trouble! Terrible customer service, they do not answer emails, will leave you on hold for an hour and then hang up, and their live chat operators will simply cut you off unless you want to buy a laptop. I ordered online with them and my laptop seems to be missing in the mail. They will not reply or offer any support whatsoever. I never should have shopped with them, worst online shopping experience I've ever had, and I've had some pretty bad ones...
Bought a Lenovo IdeaPad. Cost with extended warranty well over 1000!
Less than 4 months later, nothing but problems. Spent 2 days with customer service only to find out that I have to send it back for them to repair. It will take at least 3-5 business days before I will even get the return box, then 3-5 days for them to receive this junk back, then another at least 9 business days for them to fix it, then 3-5 days for me to get it back. So it could take a month or more and I have to do without a laptop until it's fixed. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo product.
Do some research on the website itself and problems that people have ordering from them. The website is nothing but trouble and ordering is impossible. They put a "hold" on my card now for 5 days...(wtf?) And I haven't received any kind of order number or confirmation and customer service is completely useless. I need a laptop for school ASAP and these jerkwads are screwing up everything by taking my money and giving me nothing in return. Do a gjick search on this kind of stuff. Wish I did. It happens all the time.
I ordered a product, just within 24 hours i want to cancel it, they say it will take 2 - 4 days to respond to cancel request, and then they will not be sure if they cancel it or not... what the hell is this..
Easy to set up and very fast as we use simple apps. Using for 1 month now and very satisfied with our choice. Good value.!

Disadvantages:
-Built-in battery
In general, I am satisfied with the purchase of this model.
I am a HS math teacher in CA who has been ordered to shelter in place for 2 weeks already and 3.5 more in the future. 7 months ago I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad L340 for just basic work. Well now I am an online teacher and need to use my camera - which after two sessions with remote tech support we now all realize doesn't work. I was offered the opportunity to give up my laptop so that it could be repaired under warranty. After explaining that I have no other means of working and no school computers available - we loaned them to all our students, Customer Service Rep Lisa from NC just kept repeating the same offer. This isn't customer service - not under the circumstances.
She refused to provide a loaner.
She refused to replace it.
She literally kept repeating the same useless offer for me to give up my laptop because these other options are not available for this product. I am aware that this is an inexpensive laptop and I do not represent big money to Lenovo, but I will never stop complaining about the terrible support this company provides it's customers. And I will never be a customer again.
Answer: They responded quickly to an online warranty claim, albeit with a denial of coverage. But the answer was very fast.
