Great company
May 16, 2022

I found the right mortgage lender using LendingTree. I will go to them in the future before I search for a company on my own. Perfect place to shop, compare rates and speak to potential Lenders. Both were legit with excellent ratings. Two out of the three companies contacted me within hours based to start the preapproval process. Great company.

I don't believe this company helps many people... they haven't been able to help me at all. All that happens is a lower score on my credit report from them checking on my credit... they haven't been able to give me a loan for about two or three years now... and my credit score has gone up considerably! Oh well... I've received other help.

Sent all my information to like 8 mortgage companies that could not help. I'm still getting spam emails that I cannot stop from them... RUN AWAY! The Lenders Network is a way better version of Lending Tree

Do NOT deal with these scammers. They claimed to give me insurance quotes for comparison, but they do NOT do that. What they do is sell all your personal information to a bunch of companies where you still have to give all information to obtain quotes individually, all while allowing third parties to spam you via email, mail, text, and calls. Disgraceful liars!

Baffling
April 12, 2022

I was turned down for a small loan. I have an excellent credit rate and have borrowed from this company before. I paid 100% on time. Not impressed with them. I continue to get offers daily to borrow from them. They need to get it together.

In searching for a home improvement loan, I signed up with Lending Tree. The site did not find a suitable lender for me. Adding insult to injury, either Lendingtree or a number of Lendingtree's "trusted lenders" passed my name, SS#, bank account number, unlisted phone number and email address to numerous unscrupulous, read that as fraudulent, companies; e.g., onlineloans.com, savingmakesmoney.com, et alia. The countless SPAM messages, unwanted phone calls, and two attempts to fraudulently withdraw cash from my bank forced me to close my checking account, cancel my email address, and block TWENTY-FIVE solicitors from contacting me by phone. When I called Lendingtree.com to complain about the above problems, a "customer service" representative claimed she could not find a record of my applying for a loan through lendingtree.com. BTW, the only reason I gave this site a "1" score is I could not rate the company zero.

I wanted to check out what a loan would be for a 7,000 used vehicle from a private party, and their search results return just one loan for 31,000 at the insane rate of 14%, and it is a "voucher" from "Road Loans" that you can only use at dealers... then CarMax starts spamming my email? Of course, because there is a huge difference in the loan I enquired about and the loan they offered, that means there will also be a huge difference in interest rates, so they pulled a hard credit check and gave me a misleading rate, which does me no good. Why would anyone buy a used car for 31,000 with that rate? I can buy a new car with my credit score for 4%. Only in America, smh
