I've had nothing but stress, headaches and delays with Legal Zoom (LZ). Completely incompetent. I attempted to create a PLLC through LZ which required additional information of which I provided on multiple occasions. Awaiting my order to be processed, LZ contacted me requesting the same additional information again and again. This round and round continued for two months. They would state that they need additional information (same every time) and I would provide them with the same requested information each and every time for two months! At the time of this review, the order still isn't completed. Frustrating.

My wife and I got the Estate Package from Legal Zoom. We went through multiple revisions and a couple of updates. We appreciated the ability to fill out the form, think about it, and then return and make changes. The forms make it easy to consider all the various permutations. Additionally, it's easier and faster to schedule a meeting with an online lawyer to review the document than having to schedule and then take the time to see them.

My rep Raymond at LegalZoom chat walked me completely through asking what my needs may be, my finance requirements if I could do anything myself, and offered options to fit me! He also stayed with me on chat answering my questions as I decided & secured my best choice a Premium package for an LLC & state registration & free limited attorney consultations! Have first attorney meeting already in 2 days! Speedy! Perfect for me & my new upcoming business! Raymond actually patiently hung in until I hit finish & congratulated me! Legalzoom.com understood exactly what I was looking for to start my own business and it was fast and easy.

After reading over the process of filing a paten, I was lost! I asked a friend who she used and she recommended legal zoom. It was so easy. The rep. Stayed on the phone with me through the whole process. Price was much better the what i found a lawyer would cost. Will defiantly use them for other needs.

I am very disappointed. I was never aware that I was being charged monthly until I saw one today while I was checking my CC. What is so unfair is I never received email that I was being charged monthly, no receipt, no text messages or any type of notification that I am being charged for a subscription which makes you think they're operating that way on purpose so unsuspecting people can be charged more :( They were recurring charges for 7 months and they refunded me for only 3 months, which is so unfair because like I said, I didn't get any receipt for those charges every month so I wasn't aware at all. I just started my small business, I have no income yet so it was really a pain in the pocket and my heart because it was a big amount for me too. Well, anyway I hope they can do better.

If I had known that going through Legal zoom was going to be this fantastic, I would have done this a long time ago! Brianna was excellent!

The LegalZoom representative I spoke with was very knowledgeable and patient, as I asked so many questions. I felt comfortable and sure about my decision to work with LegalZoom... plus they have a great review rating! - For these reasons, I will tell others about LegalZoom.

My husband formed our LLC through LegalZoom in Aug 2018. Up until this point, we hadn't used them for anything additional than being listed as our registered agent and the compliance calendar for $299/year. Fast forward to Sept 2022 - we filed an LLC amendment with LegalZoom to change the name and address of the business. They state their standard turnaround time for these types of filings are about 30 days.

The weeks quickly turned into months and finally on 12/23/22, they said they got my paperwork submitted to the state of Florida… and then the waiting continued and after hearing they "hadn't heard anything from the state" and they were "escalating my case" because of the time it was taking about a dozen times, I started getting suspicious. LegalZoom claims to have submitted my filing 5-6 times and blamed the State of Florida for the lack of movement.

In April 2023, I decided to call the State of Florida myself and found out they had received something because the address had been updated back in February but they had no record of the name change request. They said I needed to ask LegalZoom for the Fax ID #s associated with their submissions so the State of Florida could look into it further. When I asked LegalZoom for these ID numbers, they claimed that that was impossible unless I had requested them at the time of submission (which they never communicated with me about in the first place), they were shredded immediately to "protect my identity" - ya know, for the public record I was trying to update?

Anyways, I finally got fed up and just requested they refund me the $200 I'd spent because it had been 8+ months and they hadn't been able to complete what I'd paid for. They proceeded to tell me that was also impossible because it was outside of their 120 day refund policy LOL. This company is a joke and they don't deserve your business.

I have officially fired them and hired Northwest Registered Agent and they processed the same thing in about a week.

I purchased a package on March 6,2023 (Order no: *******) to start a nonprofit. It is now May 16th, and my application is still incomplete. I've had to resend documents that LZ lost, and I can only speak with a customer service representative to inquire about delays - not the person who's actually working on my application. EVERY TIME I call, I'm told they have everything they need, yet every day brings a new delay. WHY is this happening?

The last rep I spoke with offered me a 10% discount for my troubles. I declined. I don't want/ need the money; I just need you to treat your customers right.

Very disappointed!

LegalZoom has wonderful customer service they is knowledgeable about there products and willing to help you succeed in your journey.

Called to cancel my subscription $160/mo had the PLLC name registered Jan 2022...signed up for the tax services...never actually used the LLC or services. Was told on their recorded line, that I would be refunded for the payments made so far this year, since I didn't us them. GREAT! I'm happier I was just looking to cancel. 2 transfers later I'm being told "you are not allowed to cancel until January 2024, you have to complete ANOTHER full year of payments." On a LLC that isn't even ACTIVE! Never would I advise to use them, they created one account for me over a year ago, which my new accountant made and registered a LLC for me for $100...LEGALZOOM IS THE WORST. Stealing Money, take the win. You got paid to do a simple task one-time. Now you are greedy this is a shameful way to operate. I will go out of my way now to ensure no one I know uses LEGALZOOM for anything.

I went into the call with a very vague idea of what I was doing or needing and Lorie helped steer me the right direction. She was very informative about the services they offer without making me feel pressures into buying anything I did not need.
