Nothing is truly free on this site except a line of bull. They want your credit card number for most transactions. Seems predatory to me and blatantly dishonest. It is a matter of semantics and while technically they can claim that certain services are "free", its still a hustle. Not the kind of folks I would be comfortable working with. Check out their BBB rating, abysmal.
Website boldly states that it is free, but in order to be free you must first subscibe to their services entering card details, and then you must cancal before the 1 week free trial ends. ONLY then wil it be free. Yes its still free - so technically correct. But not what is advertised 'Completely Free'!

I signed up for their "free trial" to do one sample form. When I checked my credit card statement I had been charged $44.07! After I contacted them they said I had agreed to pay when the "free trial" ended. I said I had never received any notice of any charges but they insisted they had sent out emails. Probably in my junk mail. They refused to refund the charge I did not agree to. I am a struggling pensioner so this is food money but they don't care.
Outstanding service and very easy to establish, highly recommend it.

Scammers! They charged me £329.89 charging me every month without informing me or proving any receipt after a free trial for a simple document!
Would not refund me even when it was clear I had NEVER used it other than to download the one free document.
I did cancel the subscription also, only found out when doing my accounts.
Check Trustpolet, have 80 reviews with 80% of them giving them 1 star!

Law Depot gives you the run around to cancel, they push it out by ignoring your email requests, until the 7 day refund is no longer available. They then tell you it is not based on 'USAGE" even though you havent used it then refuse to issue the refund.
There are plenty of other companies who are honorable DO NOT USE THIS ONE

As you already know, the Free Trial for one week automatically renews to a monthly fee of $35.00 after the Free Trial expires. Based on the number of times you signed up for the Free Trial and failed to cancel twice within the 7 days, we have granted you courtesy refunds from the past. Unfortunately, since this has already been the 3rd time you demanded a refund for a Free Trial that exceeded the 7 days, we can no longer grant you that. LawDepot has no obligation to refund a Free Trial turned into a paid service.

The customer service is not personal. They make you feel like you are just a number. You make enquiries about your pending incorporation and they just answer with a single word and close the chat. No feedback and if you ask for one, they make you feel like you are bothering them. I wouldn't use them or recommend them to anyone. They make you feel like they are helping you rather than offering you a paid service. I am disappointed.

Used law depot as a trial however after I cancelled I continued to get billed for 6 months. When I called in get a refund they said there was nothing they could do and there is no one to speak with. Terrible customer service.

We posted the information twice on the site and sent you an email after you signed up for the service. Another email was sent to you when your Free trial for one week expired, and your subscription was renewed to the monthly service. Charges were also posted on your bank statement. All these details were provided to you so you would have an informed decision about your chosen subscription.

Please don't try canceling with the "having trouble signing in? Cancel without signing into account." Lawdepot will say there's no such thing & will still charge you. Customer service was very rude.
The documents was useless, two lawyers & a notary wouldn't use them.
Lawyers & Notary use their own forms. This company is a get over!

You can also cancel online by Signing In into your account or provide more information for the site to cancel without you Signing In. If by any chance, you have entered an incorrect information, the site will not be able to locate your account. That may be the reason why you are saying that it's not working.
Our records do not show of any cancellation of your subscription prior to October 27,2022, 03:59 PM ET which is 6 months after your initial sign up. We have provided a maximum 6 months of refund for $35.00 per month. We sent you an email confirmation of the refunds. Please check your inbox or spam folder.

Higher chances for overcharging and no refunds. They charged me $45. When called the customer services. Tabitha and manager Cynthia the customer services blamed me saying I am a fool who is not keeping tracks of my account.
While logging in they say will tell you before charging you which purposefully makes you ignore the messages and details which is send to you in the beginning so that they can charge you saying it was clearly noted on the logging page or the email. SO GUYS BE AWARE. Read all the small letter texts and agreements and conditions even if it is so small.
I initially went to this web site to access legal forms the 21st of March, 2022. You have to sign up to look at their products. I determined that I didn't want the service and cancelled during the free period. The next month I saw that they had charged me anyway. I went online and cancelled AGAIN. They have continued to charge me every month. They will NOT answer the listed phone number. I have a dispute through my credit card company. BE VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!

The time you spend on the questionnaire would depend on how fast you can answer the questions provided to create your document. The average time to complete a questionnaire is usually 10-15 minutes. I am sorry if you misunderstood the Free Trial for 1 week offer. For uninterrupted access to your document, a valid credit card information is required when you sign up for a subscription. If you cancel before the trial period is over, your credit card will not be charged.
