They give the impression that the price includes the resort fees but once you arrive at the hotel, you'll be informed that's not the case and that LastMinute (ripoff) Travel has actually pocketed the money. In my case, they pocketed $469 in fees and the actual hotel only cost $1000. Total bull$#*!. Google, credit card companies, and hotels should refuse to work with them. PLEASE write to your hotel and cc company and ask them to stop honoring this scam company.
Got to the hotel and the clerk confirmed my reservation, however, when she tried to charge LastMinute's credit card, it declined. So I had to pay an even higher amount out of pocket. They suck‼
I had to call Last Minute Travel 4 times... at the end ended up paying way more than advertised. I purchased a Too Good To Be True deal from LMT because it was significantly cheaper versus their competitors Expedia, hotwire, etc... but turns out that deal didnt include All Inclusive when it showed All inclusive! Wtf! So i called LMT 4 times. Pretty much i got bamboozled and have to pay $600 more. Smh. Never again I reserve anything from Last Minute Travel
Tried booking through them... not only did they put the amount pending on my credit card - they tried to run it twice... I never recieved a confirmation so called them they said I didn't have a reservation. And when I told them it was pending they said that was my CCs problem. Called CC and they said that was ridiculous they initiated the transaction... Have no idea why was so shady and have now gone over 3 days with the amount just pending on my CC - STEER CLEAR!
Booked Friday night at 8:30 pm went to hotel 1 hour later and hotel wouldn't honor it because last minute travel closed on the weekend and nothing could be done until Monday called the number I have on the email confirmation it says they closed and call back within business hours its Monday now and I am calling no one answering and now the message saying to cancel online with website provided which it wasn't in the after hours message Friday night! Its like a trap Please don't book with last minute travel to save 5 bucks because they're scam and you will go to the hotel and find no reservation
I rented a car through LMT (last minute travel), it was made clear through their invoice I would be paying $121 dollars to reserve and an estimated $62 at the counter. This invoice also included a list of mandatory fees, which any reasonable person would assume they were included in the estimated amount due - as they are listed as mandatory. THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED. My rental was significantly higher and it would have been more price effective to book directly through another company. Stay away and find another company to book through.
Stay away from last minute travel. I used Last Minute Travel to book a stay at the Crowne Plaza in Dallas. There were issues with the stay so the hotel manager said no charge for our stay but since it was through Last Minute Travel I had to contact them for the refund. My stay was in early February 2021 it is now near the end of March. They gave me the run around for weeks before saying after the 6th phone call that they did refund me. However they did not. I even provided them proof from my bank. The customer service person Juan wanted became aggressive and when I asked to speak with his supervisor he said he is the supervisor then later in the same phone call he said his supervisor isn't taking phone calls. They are located overseas in Spain. No one will respond. I would not recommend anyone book through them because if there is an issue and the hotel itself says they won't charge you and to contact lat minute travel for a refund your money, good luck getting it back from a company located in a foreign country. If I could rate them a Zero I would.
Put in a request for a hotel that could not confirm a reservation straight away and received an email from lastminutetravel.com notifying me that I would either receive a confirmation email or details of alternative arrangements within 48 hours. This did not occur so I made alternative arrangements. 4 days after the initial accommodation request was submitted I received confirmation of accommodation - LESS THAN 24 hours before I was due to arrived which meant that any cancellation had to be paid in full. Even though I had booked a UK hotel through a UK website (lastminutetravel.co.uk) I was put on hold for 20 minutes to a US number as that is what was listed as "customer service" on the confirmation email. I indicated that as the company had not adhered to the contractual agreement initially entered into that I was due to a full refund... of course that was impossible unless the hotel could confirm that. Contacted the hotel - have to wait until lastminute.com can confirm the refund. EXTREMELY UNIMPRESSED. Have dealt with many booking sites before and have never had such issues. I asked if there would be any compensation made if I was not given the refund such as vouchers etc. Told flatly no. Apparently this company doesn't need customers as they are doing nothing to endear themselves to returning business or the possibility that avid travellers like myself might warn others of their experience. Stick with booking.com; hotwire.com or the best of the bunch (in my experience, though not always the cheapest) expedia.
Booked Harry Potter studio tour tickets through this company, travelled a long way to the UK at great expense extended our holiday and planned it all around for this tour. 2 days before I got a call to say they had overbooked tickets for that day and they could only offer us tickets for the week after (which we couldn't extend our holiday any longer for) or a refund, no compensation, no explanation.
Very poor customer service. Also hard to get in contact with anyone US based and time difference issue. Customer service rep didn't even know what the time difference was.
I can't stress enough the disappointment and expense this has caused. I wouldn't definitely not trust them with a full holiday.
DON'T EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY
I used this site to book a hotel a month in advance. It said I could cancel my reservation and get a full refund. I've tried twice to get my money back, and they've ignored my request multiple times, and it's been over a month. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
On Feb. 13 I made and got confirmation for a US Air flight out of Prov. RI on the 15th at 8am to Ft. Laud. FLA. We get hit with yet another storm and the flight is cancelled. US Air tells us they earliest they can get us out of PVD is Wed. The 18th and they will email the confirmation #. No emails. On Monday, 2 of us were calling US Air every half hour and getting a recording that said due to heavy volume call back later. Finally I get it in my head to call LastMinuteTravel. Guess what, a human answered my call (and prayers). Sebastian listened to the crazy $#*! ranting of a stressed out nut job (me) and sorted thru the whole situation. He patiently explained the big picture to me and let me know what to do and what to expect. These big companies( US Air) have got to realize what a calming effect a real human voice has on a stressed out customer and I hope LastMinuteTravel realized what a prize they have in a customer service rep like Sebastian!
I was travelling through Florida and needed a hotel in Pensacola for the night. I used last Minute Travel to book my room. When I got to the hotel they couldn't find my booking. The clerk looked at the next night. LMT had moved my date from the night I needed it to the next night. The clerk said that she gets so mad at online booking agencies because this happens often. We didn't need the room for the next night as we were travelling through. I noticed on the receipt that LMT sent there was no customer service number. We had to travel 2 1/2 hours to Defuniak Spring, Fla. And pay another $100 to get a room there. I filed a claim with my bank. They reimbursed me for my payment but now
The worst experience. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I had to fly to LA, and was supposed to stay for 4 nights. I got there in the evening and within a few hours, I had an emergency and had to fly right back to NY. I had no problem with the rental car, airline ticket, which flew me back away, with no extra charge. Holiday Inn stated that I should contact Last Minute Travel to refund my credit card. I have not been able to reach anyone and at times stayed for 2 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone until I hung up. Meanwhile, they charged my credit card for the full 4 nights, when I only stayed a few hours at the hotel. WORST COMPANY EVER. STAY AWAY FROM LASTMINUTETRAVEL.
I feel that they are not clear in their terms and conditions. When I bought a flight ticket I get this message:
CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS: CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS: Any changes / cancellations to your reservation are subject to a processing fee of $ 30.00 per ticket in Addition to any airline imposed penalties and / or collection of additional airfare. All tickets are non-transferable.
With that message I understood that I am available to do flight cancellations... but when you want to cancel they say "NO CANCELLATION permitted" now they do not want return my money even explaining that I have a certificate of medical urgency,
For me, very bad way to do business!
If you know how to use their site, and what to expect, you can get some AMAZING hotel deals. Yes, some deals don't list always as "available" so you have to wait until they can contact the hotel to confirm the rate. In those cases, I've both been denied the rate and had the rate accepted, so it's a crapshoot - but when the deals are available, the discounts can be VERY significant!
Had to cancel our trip due to hubby testing positive for covid. Tried to cancel our hotel reservations before the "non-refundable date." However, was not able to access my account on LastMinuteTravel using my email address and the reservation number they provided. Kept getting errors. Tried calling customer service, but the company appears to be based in the UK. Completed a customer service ticket advising them of my issue but was told "they couldn't help me with my issue because they didn't handle that portion of customer service" and was told to seek a "get help" section on their website. On that website, I had to select my country in order to get the right info, but the UNITED STATES is listed--it's only European countries. I call the hotel directly to cancel, but was informed that since I booked through a 3rd party (LastMinuteTravel) that I had to cancel through them. UGH! Got the complete runaround and now we're out $202. LASTMINUTETRAVEL is a SCAM!
I have been charged an additional £75 on top of the payment for the room, I have tried to get into contact with the company but there has been no answer.
They sell ticket that never exist. You go to airport and you realize that you don't have actually ticket. Horrible customer service.

Hi. Is it true that if you get the name incorrect on the ticket as opposed to that on the passport because of a genuine mistake you have to pay a large amount to change it. I am shocked if yes.
A few days ago I booked return flights to Memmingen (West Munich) from Edinburgh through the lastminute platform and was initially delighted that flights were available on the dates I wanted. What happened subsequently almost surpassed belief. Although it clearly stated at the top of the webpage that the flights listed below were to Memmingen and NOT Munich, they duly booked my wife and I on flights to Munich. When i rang to complain about this and ask for a refund, I was asked to wait 72 hours while they checked their website. After the 72 hours had passed, I did indeed receive an email but only to tell me there was nothing wrong with their website, a blatant lie. I now face the choice of losing £300 and booking elsewhere, or going to Munich and arranging a long rail journey from there to my intended destination.
I am dumbfounded that this online operation is still in business.
For anyone who might be interested, I made a printed copy of the relevant webpage which shows clearly that my online flight request was Memmingen, not Munich, and indeed the page is headed 'lastminute.com - cheap flights from Edinburgh to Memmingen'.
