HOTEL was awful!

Booked the Quality Inn (off Highway 87) In Indianapolis, IN through last Minute Travel. Supposedly the room was 30% of the regularly $100 per night rate. The hotel room was terrible. Advertised breakfast (they were out of all the healthy options). The hallways smelled as if someone was cooking spicy food all the time. I assume the order had gotten into the carpets. They should have paid me to stay there. I would never book a hotel through them again!

Just book the flight ticket via this website. Decide to cancel it because of passenger spelling mistake. Slow response from customer service and charge extremely extra for the cancellation. They just want to scam money from you.

Beware of "standard" v "accessible" rooms. Even if you pay for the standard you may end up with an accessible room with no compensation from this booking site. The hotel was apologetic and upgraded us for the next day, but the booking site offered nothing other than a phone call, which I had already done. Operator was very nice, but I advise booking through the hotel; using this site only means you get to pay in advance and don't know what you will get.

A cluster booking ordeal

If you want a real disaster planning your get away vacation then use this booking agency. I used them once but never again. The procedures you'll be faced with will make dealing with the airlines directly seem like a dream. To be perfectly honest, after reading the other negative reviews ( after I had booked my flight) I was uncertain if I had a seat on the plane until I was onboard the aircraft.

Don't be tempted. I tried booking with them today a hotel at a slightly better price then other vendors. It clearly stated fully refundable, I took screenshots. When I received the email from them with my confirmation it was for a completely different hotel and non-refundable. I called them up and they refused to refund the money since their computer said it was non-refundable even though I offered to send screenshots.
They pretended to call the hotel to try to see if they could get a refund from the hotel, but the hotel was "closed". Never mind that five star hotels in Hong Kong don't close.
I'll be disputing this with my credit card company

We made last minute reservations for a hotel we wanted in Santa Barbara. This company charged us and simply assigned us to a different hotel nearby without even asking us first if it was ok. We were already in the middle of traveling so had no choice but to accept the inferior hotel they assigned to us and stayed there. But beware, they just randomly assign you to whatever hotel is available even though your booking is clearly for a specific hotel. This should be totally illegal and this business should be shut down. I attempted to contact them for a refund but have not heard back from them. One of their reps repeatedly hung up on me!

Got the room like I reserved.

I was able to stay in my room I was even able to check-in hours early. My only issue is I did want to cancel my reservations and I was unable to last minute. Their website was down and it said to contact their phone number which was not available during the hours I needed to cancel my reservation. I did check their website right after my reservation and I would of been able to cancel so maybe it was just a one time thing for that one day. But they by far had the cheapest price which I guess goes with the customer service. I would certainly use last minute travel again if I did not need flexibility.

Last Minute Trip

I used LMT to book a room due to fatigue. Got to the hotel, reservations were complete. Checked my Credit Card today and there is the $70 what ever charge from LMT and a $5 charge from the hotel? Not too sure what this is about yet as the transaction is still "pending". Receipt from hotel the next morning showed $68 and some change. After seeing this I am skeptical. I made a reservation for my boss thru LMT for the 21st! Hope it turns out ok!

I should have read these reviews! Completely dishonest company with terrible customer service! I paid for a flight but because they had the name incorrect, I could not get the ticket! I had to purchase another round-trip ticket! Last-minute travel offered no support and no refund! After multiple calls and emails, they told me there is nothing they will do! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Horrible scam

This is scam! I beg you please don't use them!
By accident I discover all my hotels, flights cancel without any notification! Not even a cordial email or phone call... they lack proper customer service! I am absolutely disgusted SCAM_caroline

I asked to change the flight and then the operator made my travelling information totally wrong. I then called again and waited another two days for the email to come (BTW: you always have to wait at least half an hour for someone to answer you on the phone). And I chose to proceed but was never informed when they would call to confirm with me. So, two days later, someone called me early in the morning and I missed it. Then I received an email concerning the new change -- the change fee has increased even much more than the original flight price. So I asked to cancel the flight two days ago and haven't got any response yet. I won't trust this company again...

Purchased an all inclusive through a Google one deal. I called the hotel and they confirmed the room. I was mentally preparing myself for some shinanegan because the deal was amazing. Check my credit card activity and no funny business! Had a great trip and loved Aruba!

The Worst $#@! $#@! Ever!

They sell you airline tickets that do not exist. Then after you have traveled to the airport and waited several hours because there was a weather delay, email you that your reservation was cancelled. The reason being they say is because there was trouble with your credit card. But... this is not true, the bank allowed in the small fee that is sometimes sent ahead of the whole transaction and then Lastminutetravel did not send a transaction. Attempts were not made to make the charge There was never a ticket available in the first place. I am irate and they are liars!
You should not have to be taking a chance on your transactions and definitely don't need to be waiting to board a plane that does not have a seat for you!
I will never used them again!

Booked hotel rooms for my employees a month in advance and when they checked in the hotel, they were told that their reservations were cancelled! The company never emailed me about any reservation cancellation and my employees were left paying for their own rooms! Called them and customer service was horrible and were not willing to help or honor the reservation again, instead offering to book with new reservation at a much higher rate! Unacceptable! This business needs to be shut down stat!

Like others my reservation was cancelled one day before arrival without reason. On other websites the hotel was sold out so I think they overbooked it and I reserved something that was not available. Furthermore the reimbursement was not complete, maybe due to some fee. I gave a try but it is better to stick to some more reliable travel website.

Bait and switch

I booked two rooms through Last Minute Travel, same hotel, same dates, same everything. The advertised room was under $300; when I got the bill and the 2nd room was charged at almost twice that, the run around was so extensive and impossible that I ended up having to pay. I'm sure what they are doing walks the line of legality; it is well over the line into unethical.

I purchased an airfare and rental car package. When I checked in at Hertz I was told there would be a $102.00 fee at the return. I feel that this should have been included in the package. This was not a special fee and in reality probably changed my purchasing decision. The $50.00 bagage fees and $102.00 rental charge turned the $650.00 price into $800.00. The good deal goes away quickly with these add-on's. My choice for the additional bag ($25 each way) however, $15 /day add-on for the car should be worked into the quoted price by the companies. Not check the fine print and give me the money later.

Last Minute Travel is a joke. I recently went to a wedding and stayed at a hotel with all of the other guests. Come to find out, they all got a much better rate (by as much as $80/nt) through other websites and even directly through the hotel. When I called LMT to ask if they do any kind of price match, they said they didn't. Even when I asked if they would do some sort of credit for future use to retain a customer who doesn't trust their site any longer, they said No. Obviously, all they care about is making the sale, ripping people off and don't care about keeping customers.
