When I got my products, I found that my gift set was missing. I called 1-800-lancome several times in order to find someone help me to sovle the issue. One of the representative even cut off my call. I can not believe lancome representative has such rude and unprofessional behavior. What a horrible place!
I have used other Lancôme products over the year but I strongly recommend avoiding absolute skin creme. I had a burning severe red itchy swelling painful reaction and had to go on steroids. They will take over 4 weeks to reimburse me and had very poor customer support. I am no longer ever going to buy their products. Buyer beware.
I have been a loyal customer for years but when I tried to replace an expensive eyeshadow because the flimsy plastic case broke within a week I was refused because I didn't have the receipt. I phoned cudtomer service and was informed they would send me an addressed Jiffy bag in which to return it. That was five weeks ago and after repeated phone calls it still has not arrived. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and decided to order online thru the lancome website for the 1st time. I am very disappointed as I was not told at any time during my ordering process that I could not combine offers/codes for bonuses. I was chatting with a 'customer service' rep while placing my order. After placing my order, I was told I could not combine offers. Within less that a minute I informed the rep that I wanted to cancel my order. Of course, it was not cancelled. An email and a telephone conversation to Lancome were not able to correct the problem. I offered them several opportunities to save a customer, but they were not interested in helping me. I will find another product line.
To whomever this may concern:
I called the Lancome customer service line 2 minutes after placing my order because I realized the address was incorrect on my order. I asked the representative to cancel my order. She said Ok, but I need to call back in 30-40 minutes. So I hung up, set a timer for 30 minutes, and called when the timer went off.
When I called, the representative said I should have actually called in exactly 25 minutes, and she can no longer cancel the order.
Obviously, I am shocked and disappointed at the low level of customer service. Not only did a representative give me false information, but the 2 representatives that followed refused to help me because I called 5 minutes later.
I have purchased several products from this supposed prestigious brand, and I have to say that from now on I will never purchase another product from Lancome unless this is made right.
I am disgusted with the level of care given by Lancomes customer service reps.
Product did nothing for dark spots, I used daily for 5 months and can't tell a difference. Too expensive for just a moisturizer and disappointed with customer service lack of response. I was initially sold another product by a beauty consultant in the store and later told this was the one I needed for correcting dark spots. Wrong!

I thought I was a unlucky one but looks like Lancome has been a scam and been taking other people's money without appropriately delivering their orders.
I ordered a Beauty box more than a month ago and I have not received it.
Called the customer service multiple times (taking forever to talk to human being and they will never call you back if they accidentally cut off the phone line - time and emotionally consuming) and each customer service agents told me different stories.
Their manager has never called me as I requested multiple times and they declined refund.
I understand there is some delay or some errors in delivery especially this Covid -19 situation but there is no customer service system to correct any sort or errors and they still keep your money which is literally called fraud.
Received a post card with an offer of a 10 piece gift from Lancomme if purchasing $49 worth of their products. When I called for an offer code, I was told they had run out of the promotion items and i should refer to the printing on the bottom of the card which states "offers are subject to change without notice." What a crock!
I placed an order on May 3. I spent a specific amount of money to be able to qualify for the free gift promotion they were running. I placed the order and it arrived on May 6. There were no free gifts in my box and I contacted Lancome immediately. I was told "I have confirmed the gifts were not updated in the shopping cart at checkout." I was then told "Our processing time is 1-2 business days with 3-5 business days for shipment. You will receive an email confirmation once the gifts have shipped!"
Well it's now May 19th, no email, no package, and now I'm being told "Please be advised this request is still processing. Due to the promotion being expired if inventory allows the gifts will be shipped to you."
So now I gave them my money, did not receive what I spent money to receive, and now am being told it's expired and they may not have any inventory.
Poor, poor customer service and will never place an order on Lancome.com again.
Lancome is a good brand. My mom started me using it when she pointed out that a lot of women in their mid 30s and 40s switch to Lancome because it's just better for that age. It's true. Lancome's foundation comes on really smoothly and feels great. It's also somehow helped me stay pretty blemish-free. I don't like to buy make-up in department stores because of the pushy, made up too much sales ladies, so lancome.com comes in handy when I need questions answered about the product. They've also sent me samples, and what girl doesn't like that?
I have been a huge fan of Lancôme Mascara for years and always bought it in a department store but when I was offered it online direct from Lancôme at a very good price I jumped and ordered two. However the order was never acknowledged yet they took my money. I've waited over two weeks and no sign of the parcel. I've lost count of the number of times I have completed that stupid customer service form online and tried to contact them by phone but to no avail. I am now going to ask my credit card company for a chargeback. "Customer service"... doesn't exist with this company. Avoid!
This company does NOT care about customers at all. I purchased the translucence silky loose powder twice now (online) and both time it has arrived unable to open. I believe the plastic top melts on to the plastic container when they ship it. So I called the 2nd time and they said I need to return it (at MY cost) and they will refund me and I should go purchase the product at a store. I've been a loyal mascara user for many many years. Goodbye Lancome. Good riddance!
I should have read all of the terrible reviews prior to " buying into" their "free samples" promotion! What a scam! I ordered extra mascara to qualify for 4 samples and ZERO samples came! NEVER AGAIN!
I noticed on their website main page the phased out favorite products promotion of 30% off. And I clicked the link and entered the phased out favorites page, I added the skincare set and makeup product into the cart. But when I checked out, the code which is showing on their main page was invalid. I tried several times but it still could not go through. I contacted the customer service, however, they said the set is not eligible for the promotion. This is ridiculous. You never see any mark of exclusions on the main page promotion advertisement area but only apparent " 30% off phased out favorites use the code phasedout at checkout." And on the phased out favorites page, there is not any mark of exclusions either. You will only find it out when you checkout and be frustrated and doubt if it's your problem. Totally waste of time. I will never buy anything from Lancome usa website again. How stupid they are!
I am furious once again. I wanted to use my points for the foundation I use. Things were not working through the website, so I did chat with a rep. The rep figured it all out and I thought I ordered the foundation. She even threw in free shipping. My points also showed the purchase. I never got a confirmation email so I decided to check on the order tonight and guess what? The foundation is out of stock. NO word from Lancome. Points were not added back. This is the 2nd time the item I wanted with my elite rewards points was out of stock. A supervisor is supposed to call me in 1-2 days. The chat rep gave me a code for 20% off. Whoopie. THIS IS A SCAM!
I would not even know where to start. After having issues with my order for the third time I am finding a new line to use. I have tried to get through on the customer service line and will be on hold for hours and than have the line disconnect. I have received emails saying the issues will be fixed and nothing ever happens!
I made the mistake of signing up for their emails. Get emails everyday and absolutely cannot get them stopped. Trying to unsubscribe is not even an option on the emails. I have contacted them many times and ask to unsubscribe and still cannot get it done. Do not make the mistake of subscribing.
Lancôme takes your money but then Lancôme never sends an order number nor does the Lancôme website work to sign into your account and check on purchase. Lancôme also does not have customer service number working and it is already June 15,2020
I got a Night Cream - Multi Lift (the purple one) and I got a horrible allergy after 1st use. It's ridiculous because it's not a cheap product and I've been struggling to get rid of the ‘burns' on my skins the cream caused. I know it says ‘don't use it on skin around your eyes' but I used it on other parts of my face and also on my neck and arms!
It's ridiculous as I was attending a wedding (I was a bridesmaid) and it looked soo bad, and the makeup artist couldn't even cover it!
I need to report it to some organisations as it's dangerous to use!
Placed my order on May 27,2020. It STILL has not been shipped! I understand a delay of a week due to COVID, but 17 days later, the order has not shipped. If you call, a recording will tell you that the wait time to speak with someone is over an hour. The chat reps are extremely rude and will not give you a ship date. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged for the order on May 27th.
