I bought lamps on eBay from lamps plus but EBay checked me out in a sort of one click before I got the step to review my order. Didnt know source of payment. Canceled order immediately after that message. Saw it was PayPal so I reordered lamps. Then got 2 charges for the lamps in my account. 2 hours trying to cancel through eBay and PayPal. Futile. 12 hours later I got a message saying both items had shipped and an email saying they couldnt cancel because the items already shipped. I canceled within 20 seconds. What a scam. Now I have to return everything and hope I get a refund in a month? Never do business with this company in my opinion.
Purchased 8 LED outdoor pathway lights 15 months ago... now, with some of the lights failing, the company informs me the LEDS are NOT replaceable and the entire fixture is worthless... no where in Lamps Plus's descriptions do they tell you the LED bulb is not replaceable and they continue to sell such fixtures
I purchased several lamps 10 years ago online from Lamps plus and was very satisfied at that time. Ten years later, I ordered a shade for a lamp purchased elsewhere and it arrived in a few days, was safely packaged, was exactly as pictured, and was of better quality than expected. Lamps Plus is a quality company with excellent customer service and I will use them again.
I have to say that I was rather impressed with the bar stools I ordered. I ordered 5 hanging lights and loved them so I thought I'd give the stools I found online a try. They do have to be assembled but was really easy.
Super happy and would use the again.
I placed an order back in December of 2017 and it is now February 5,2018 and his order is not resolved. I received one of two lamps broken. I returned it and have to email them continuously to get any feedback on a replacement. Had I know it would be so much trouble I would have returned both and purges the lamps elsewhere. I am an avid online shopper and Lamps Plus has been the worst company I have had the displeasure of shopping.
I recently had to return a large chandelier. It was much to big for the room. The cost to ship back was almost as much a the light fixture itself. It's not cost effective for me to be paying over $150.00 to return a light. Your return policy is not cost effective for me. I will be shopping locally for light fixtures in the future
As a designer I appreciate going in the store, giving specs and having reps point exactly at viable options in the showroom. The staff here is great, and dealing with real people always beats dealing with random online suppliers who's customer service is not domestic.

My wife and I were looking to replace two ceiling hallway fixtures, so after going to Home Depot and being underwhelmed by the selection, we decided to go to Lamps Plus, figuring we would pay more for a quality light fixture. We selected this nice looking fixture from their ceiling display and ordered two of these at $70 each, several times the "cheapo" fixtures at Home Depot, but again we figured you have to pay for quality. When the fixtures arrived, I was very disappointed to find that BOTH of the very thin plastic shades were cracked. I took them to the store and they indicated they did not stock parts at the store so would need to order new shades. They arrived in about a week. On installing the fixtures, I was again disappointed at the very thin gauge of the metal frame and the poor quality of the hardware. I had to physically disassemble one of the units and re-tap one of the finial heads in order for the unit to go together. You can't even hand tighten the mounting screws without bending the metal frame. Once installed, the units look nice, but we had hoped that by paying two or three times the Home Depot price, we would be getting quality merchandise. Instead we got cheap Chinese quality at made-in-USA prices. By the way, the boxes say "Made in China", so I'm not just guessing.
I ordered a fountain from Lampsplus. The order took nearly 8 weeks to be delivered. After about 1 week of the fountain being used, the fountain began to lean. Upon inspection, the main support was cracked and what appeared to be a quick fix was made and painted over. I contacted lampsplus to get a replacement support. Again, we are at almost 8 weeks and still no part. Customer service is rude. The one year warranty is useless. 4 months have passed since fountain was ordered ( the warranty starts the day order was placed) now by time part actually arrives, it will be time to take the fountain in for winter. Warranty will be up by the time the fountain will be put back out next spring. Company refuses to refund $$$.

The lamp I ordered was quickly delivered. Solid construction and a long cord makes life easier and brighter. Get the LED bulb combo to save a trip to the store.

As an Interior Designer I look for value and quality. Lamps Plus is my go to source for lighting and home accents. I've also purchased furniture through Lamps Plus. The customer service is exceptional and the prices are fantastic. I try to find lighting that is manufactured by Lamps Plus because they sell it for far less than the competition. I highly recommend this company.

I bought all my outdoor lighting from Lamps Plus. There are tons of choices from wall sconces to motion sensor security lighting. They arrived nicely packaged!

Ordered two matching ceiling fans and had them professionally installed on May 5th. The next day one stopped working. Called cust svc and they made us go through tech support who said remote and receiver were bad. Received 2nd receiver in a week, fan still did not work. Called tech support, said receiver was bad. A week later received 3rd receiver, fan still did not work. Called tech support, Juan said it was a prob in light assembly and I needed a new fan. Waited a week and nothing, called cust svc and they said they don't know of a Juan in tech support. Sent a 4th receiver saying it was installed incorrectly and the we had to use a different electrician to install and have them call tech support while installing. Spent 165.00 to have electrician verify the fan was faulty. They sent another fan, went to put it up and the down rod does not screw into motor because it is too big. It is now July 8th and have been without light for over 2 months. Don't waste your time with this company, they do not honor your business. Everything is good if you don't have a problem, but if you do... good luck! I'm officially cutting my losses and will never buy from them again.
I bought four outdoor lamps about $1000 and never received them. They refused to replace the lamps, and I have to eat up the cost myself. It is a company without any dignity and no honesty. There are lots of much better lamp stores out there. DO NOT buy anything from LampsPlus.
Ordered 2 mini pendant lights that i was told were in stock. Turns out they weren't and I did not receive them for 4 weeks. Opened the 1st box and found that the finish was nothing like the photos, the lamp shade was scratched and it was not a stiff tube mount but flexible cord from the ceiling. Called and was told that i had to pay for the return ever though it was damaged. The return shipping costs approx. $20 per box what a rip off.
