I will always rent books on this site. The book is new. I am impressed. I cover it immediately because I do not want to deceive them for trusting me with the book.
None of my tracking codes worked or were updated so I just had to wait and hope my textbooks would arrive on time.
This was the most affordable way to get the textbooks I was looking for, especially as a full time college student.

I was happy that I found a website that offered the book I needed for my class at a reasonable price. They also seem to make the return process quick & easy!
It was so easy to access the Knetbooks website. They had the cheapest prices on books. I received the books quickly and now I am ready for college! I could not ask for better service.

They did not notify me and charged me for a book that I DID return. So they have the book and my money and that is stealing. Since they did not notify me that supposedly the wrong book was returned, by the time I realized there was an issue, they said it was too late cause they had no access to info, yet when I said they never notified me they suddenly had access to the email they sent. That is when it was discovered that their system had failed to update my email for all areas. I had updated my email address 3 years before and was getting receipts for rentals orders okay, but their system did not carry that update over to the area that notifies about return problems. So they sent email to an address I no longer had access to. I know I sent the correct book back, because I had never even heard of the book they "said" I returned by mistake. I am careful & keep copies of everything, I still had copies of the shipping return label, the UPS drop off receipt, & the UPS delivery confirmation, but they were indifferent and unconcerned. They did not care & although they knew it was not fair business practice, they said quote, "fair has nothing to do with it". They would not correct their error even when they obviously caused the problem. They would rather steal from their customers than do the right thing. No matter when it happened, stealing is stealing and Knetbooks stole from me.
Despite not using the provided tracking slip, I sent my book back a week in advance. I was still charged a late.
I called and was told that they could not locate the book. Told me I had to find a tracking number. So after hunting that down, I was told that this information had to go to the guy who "handles this type of situation".
After another couple days of nothing I called back and spoke with a girl named Kiana who informed me that the book was late and that I would not receive a full refund.
I told her that this was impossible as I had sent the book out a week in advance and was told it would get there by the due date.
She then stated, "alright. But it will be 3 to 7 business days."
Your customer service is terrible and thank you for depriving me of $53 that I could have used for Christmas.
I may not have used the label but I had the book back, in good shape, on time.
But you are taking your time giving me back my money. Gee, thanks a lot. Us college students must make enough and can do without I suppose. Merry Christmas.
I received my book in excellent condition! Shipping was fast and I am now fully prepared to study this semester!
So I'm taking a summer class and I find out what book I'll be needing on the first day of class. My usual rental sites I use, among all others that I felt okay with using stated that they were out of stock of the book i was needing.
Then I discovered Knetbooks; much to my dismay. I order the book on Tuesday at 4pm so yes considerably late in the afternoon. But Its now Monday of the following week and my order still says "prosessing" on Knetbooks. I talked to a live Rep. And she stated that the time it takes books to be processed can be 3-5 days. It took more than 5 days, so I asked if I could be compensated for the delay on processing on their part, because I'll now be completely unprepared for my first test and the money I spent for faster shipping is being negatively affected by their processing times. I received no kind of help or compensation from the customer service. It took them one day shy of a full week to process my order and "supposedly" my book just sent according to customer service.
So perhaps if you have no kind of time time frame of when you would like to receive your book, then I would suggest using Knetbooks. If your like most of us however, DO NOT use them. You've been warned haha. Best of luck people :)

Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page. Plus, they are really easy to remove from the textbook before you send it back at the end of the semester. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
