Only received two of the three books I ordered. I hate to pay for the MLA book again. Sad it didn't come in. The other two books came in and are in PERFECT condition.

From the total book amount they charged on my credit card, they process a refund, keeping $ 86 usd for being late for 7 days... (they did not consider the holidays). Worst experience ever... Before knetbooks sent their book, I ordered another book from the other web. I thought I refund the order, but they still sent it to me. I tried to sent the book back, and it said I can only get 2 dollars back(My book was 10 dollars) because there's an 8 DOLLAR RESTOCKING FEES. For real? How broke is this company?
Do not order from this site if you actually want your books! I ordered 5 books in my order. 2 books are supposedly on their way, 2 books are still being processed (in limbo never shipped), and one book they said they had in stock they told me they had to cancel because they didn't have it (supposedly refunded, I have to check my cc)
Now 16 days later I still have no books even though their website says 4-8 business days. I chatted with them they told me the 2 books in transit should arrive the day I spoke with them, however they never came. Then I chatted with them again and they said I have to wait 4 more days to see if they might come maybe?!?! They were unsure. They could not tell me about 2 in processing either, so I cancelled them.
I asked for a refund on the ones in transit so I could buy elsewhere so my son wouldn't be without his books another day. They refused to send me a refund until I waited another 4 days to make sure the books in transit really don't arrive. What? Now I'm out $$$ with no books and have to put out more money for replacement books. Not to mention, they gave me a coupon code to use that never worked. Very unhappy with this whole experience
I rented a textbook from this company. It came with significant water damage. The previous renters invoice, papers, and a used star bucks gift card inside. The book was usable so I used it. I have now been charged for the damage to the book that was present when I received it. When contacting customer service I was disconnect through chat and told they could do nothing for me. When I called customer service they said the same thing. I was apparently supposed to report damage to the book when received, however nothing in the invoice said this. Apparently, it is not the rental companies responsibility to review the books they are sending out or receiving. After reviewing multiple other reviews I am convinced this company is a scam. I will be contacting my credit company to dispute the charges. I will also be contacting the better business bureau to report this scam of a company. Do not do business with this company. I have been renting textbooks for many years from other sites with no issue. I have no problem paying for damage I am responsible for, but that is not the case.
Quick and easy to find and order books needed for classes this fall. The price was great as well, most places I saw where either out of stock or cost the same price for one book as I paid for two.
The book was sold out in a lot of places, book stores and such as well as several places online. I was able to get it from Knetbooks with no problems.
Easy ordering, easy shipping- not sure how a return works, but so far my experience has been great. The book is in great shape for being a used book as well
If I could give this company a 0/5, I would. They delivered my book weeks late + I couldn't use it for my course. When I returned it, I was not provided a refund, because they said "it was in used condition." ---- Which was not possible, because it did not arrive in time for my course. Horrible customer service with no problem solving, just kept repeating the same thing... This type of company TAKES ADVANTAGE of students by delivering late + not refunding, as opposed to serving them. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS.

I paid for expedited shipping but did not receive as promised. My daughter had assignments due. We had to purchase a more expensive ebook in order for her to complete her assignments on time.

Horrible customer service.
I thankfully ordered my textbook with plenty of time and I received the wrong book and the worst part was that it included the other customers personal info (address apt num etc) in the inside packing slip.
Mistakes happen right? Okay fine, but as a working busy student I tried reaching out by email first. Close to a week went by and I hotbed absolutely no reply. Nothing. I decided to chat and the rep was indifferent at best. No apology was offered and the only thing Quann said was they could either replace or refund AFTER the book was received.
Totally unacceptable! I needed this book NOW and they were still being completely unreasonable! The rep just said sorry about inconvenience when ending the chat. This was a few days ago, I haven't received any confirming emails that the right book is being dispatched and finally another idiot rep finally emailed me back saying " I seen you been service, contact us with any other questions-Trish" again no apologies for original issue, delay or even an reiteration or update on what took place. Sounds like their employees are poorly trained in customer service. With so many competing companies it's a shame. I'll stick to googling the ISBN number and checking out a few sites before going with this horrible company who doesn't consider customer service as an important matter.
Absolutely horrible experience with this company. They are extremely deceiving and dishonest. I placed an order with them and requested to cancel my order hours later. I made sure that the book had not been shipped yet. They went ahead and shipped my order anyways. They emailed me saying it was too late to cancel the order. I am absolutely certain that they did this purposely so that I would have to pay to send the book back. When I received the book, I immediately shipped it back and asked for a full refund. The online system was offering me $3 out of the $17.50 that I paid. Absolutely ridiculous. I emailed them immediately asking for a FULL refund. They agreed to issue me a FULL refund, however, my account showed I was only going to be refunded $12.20 out of the $17.20. I emailed them once again asking them to fix this. They agreed to change the amount to $17.20. However, once I checked my bank statement, I discovered that they only refunded me the $12.20. This is absolutely unacceptable! They continuously lied to me! Did they think I would forget to check my bank statement and blindly believe that they'd refund me the full amount? I have all my emails as proof. Don't waste your time with this dishonest and TERRIBLE company. I am still waiting to receive my entire refund from these scammers.
Amazing, I didn't have to wait for long, the books arrived the day I expected them to. Fresh copies, each to navigate and very helpful in learning more about the classes I've taken.
Answer: Infinity, because you will never receive it. And if you do receive it, it comes damaged and then when you try to return your rental that try saying the original damage is your fault and charge you a ridiculous price for a small damage that had already come with it. Or sometimes several pages are missing.
Answer: Hi Tatum, We do allow some highlighting in our rentals but we ask that you dont highlight excessively. If you return the rental back to us with over one-third of the text highlighted, we may have to mark the book as damaged. Highlighting can be distracting for future renters and we may not be able to add an overly-highlighted book back into our inventory. Consider using page flags to mark an important sentence. Flags can help you easily get back to the page you need. Page flags are also small enough that they can be used multiple times on the same page.
