This company is dishonest...a total scam. They intentionally booked me on a flight that would not allow a checked bag and for my connecting flight, a type of fare that did not allow any bags at all. How did they expect me to get on a plane for four days without a bag? Refused to fix the issue for me with a new flight and the flight could not be rebooked with the airline because Kiwi used "points to purchase" so it had zero value. Never do business with them - SCAM!
I pushed 'purchase' on a flight that was supposed to leave from NYC but then I realized it was not NYC but SWF airport, hours outside of NYC! I immediately tried to cancel by calling the automatic system which said it could handle cancellation but after a long process then said they couldn't. I went on the website and they say they will charge a steep cancellation fee and might return some money paid if the airlines are willing to do so! And it will take 30 days. I called again and again and finally reached someone who said they could not help. I asked for the supervisor but that person wasn't available. This company is disgusting and should be avoided at all costs.
If you wanna ruin your vacation, your energy, and time then book it with this firm. I'm a traveler and they are THE WORST company I ever booked my flights with. I booked an over $400 flight 2 weeks ago, got my confirmation, planned everything accordingly, and 2 days prior to my flight they said they overbooked my flight and offered me a 19 HOURS flight during covid. Their online service is not working. I get a reply every other hour and their phone agents can barely speak English, they don't give accurate information, they do not help, they are also rude someone just hangs up on me.
Horrible experience, ruined my current vacation, upcoming vacation and I still don't know how to complete my travel.
The worst website for booking flight, they have told me that i need transit visa after i booke and after they took the money not like other websites that they warn you before paying because kiwi are the biggest thieves and i had no time to do transit visa in just one day very bad customer service and very rude workers and managers with seriously disappointing management,they are thieves they just take the money and run away without helping you or working on your problem they just leave you alone and steal your money and they lie about everything, i dont advice anyone to work with them you will be regreting.am going to sue this bull$#*!t website.
Hands down the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I booked the wrong dates for a flight in april and realized immediately, so I contacted Kiwi and asked if I could get a refund. Even though it was well within the 24 hour grace period that all airlines allow for changing flights, Kiwi refused to contact the airline and said I was only eligible for a 10 euro refund since I selected the baseline price for the tickets. I contacted the airlines and they said I had to do it through Kiwi. Kiwi continued to refused to work with me even though the airlines said they would refund the amount to Kiwi if they reached out. This company is a complete scam and intentionally tried to con me out of the cost of the tickets. Dealing with Kiwi was hours upon hours of stress and headaches. Do yourself a favor and avoid this horrible company at all costs.
So kiwi have told me they can't refund me my flight until Delta airlines have refunded them! GUESS WHAT? I contacted Delta Airlines directly and they said they don't receive the money until the flight has been taken and because my flight never went ahead they never received the money, therefore Kiwi have my money and need to issue the refund! Not answering calls and can't get through because my flight number is no longer recognised. Messages go unread... Absolutely disgusting. I have kids to feed! 21 weeks ago I applied for this refund!
Kiwi is trash don't book with them, they cancelled my outbound flight without calling and basically blamed me for it when they aren't being informative or helpful with booking another flight better off booking a flight through mail smh deserves 0 star but isn't an option ( i was at the airport for 5 hours before it was cancelled) already went through security and had my pass
I booked a flight with Kiwi and they sent me a booking number for Sunwing. I went on Sunwing site to check if I was actually booked and Sunwing told me the booking number is invalid. When I called Kiwi, they said at their end I am booked...whatever that means.
I requested full refund or proof the booking number is valid on Sunwing flight.
The were unable to provide proof and denied the refund.
Total scum!

This is a horrible company. I google searched flights and found a flight from kiwi.com and bought my ticket. When I got to the airport, I was told I didn't have a seat. Kiwi.com would not give me my refund! They gave me the run around over and over again.
Is been over 6 months and still nothing on there part, if I don't write to them there's no follow up on there part, there said it would take 3 months to resolve the refund from my cancel flights in may 2nd, yet here we are, nothing yet and all they responded to me was a genetic email with same excuse. Stay away from Kiwi.com go with Expidia.com or Booking.com way better customer service and they handle all there returns on time. You have been warned stay away from Kiwi.com!
I booked a flight and paid extra for the KIWI "air help" Thomas cook was one leg of my flight home. They went out of business while I was in Europe on 9/23/19. KIWI made me paid $150 to get home. I had already paid $500 to get home and they made me pay this extra money. Geez.
Total scam. Even though I bought the insurance to change or cancele the reservation, they were unable to refund. Do not use this booking website. Take the extra time to do a little research and go directly through the airline.
Kiwi is making people to cancel their reservation so they can refund only 10% of ticket value accoriding to their guarantee policy. They send and info where you have no option but to cancel reservation yourself. Otherwise they charge you 20Euro to help you get your money back from the carrier itself. They steel money form the refunds carriers make for cancellations. Do not buy anything in this company.
I was scheduled to travel from Mexico City to Bocas del Toro in Panama. With boarding pass in hand I was denied boarding for my flight to Panama as I had 88 days left on my passport instead of the required 90 days. Copa Airlines gave me a credit immediately for a future ticket. Kiwi has not after repeated attempts to provide a same credit for the flight on Air Panama. I would not use Kiwi for any travel as they provide very poor service for their customers. There are many other choices.
I bought a ticket on this site with the stop. When I arrived at the airport where I was stationed at the information desk I found out that the plane I was supposed to have was no longer for 4 weeks. Besides the fact that I had waited 12 hours in the airport for their fault, the food and drink did not want to compensate her, so to speak of moral damages. Now I'm judging with them. SCAM! Do not book with this agency. When I arrived at the airport I print a 3 page ticket, on my connection flight they did not let me board because my ticket did not had my connection flight.
I had to lose my flight because they did not specified that I had to go out to print a new ticket and go through TSA again, the customer service was totally negligent and did not present any interest on resolving my issue. Again this is a total scam.
I booked a ticket to Wrocław for November this year. Kiwi have told me the airline have changed my return date 3 times! When checking the website my original date is available. I've emailed them to advise I'm now incurring 3 nights extra cost to pay for hotel. My friend is on the exact same flight I was originally on and his flights have not been touched. A bunch of crooks! Do not use them. Wizz air will not help as I booked through Kiwi.com.
Kiwi sold me a ticket from Mexico City to Orlando with a layover in Cacun that was so short it was essentially impossible for me to arrive to my next flight!
After talking with customer service they blamed me for poor "time management" even though it is clear there is no way on earth I could have made it to my flight on time. If you are buying a ticket with 2 different airlines that is international know that you need at least 2 hours of layover because check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure.
This company really plays with customers money, I used this service last January, big surprise! This company used a stolen credit card to pay for my flight! The blue company canceled my ticket and I lost my money! Do not use these services!
I'm waiting for 2 years for a refund - they paid Kiwi.com Credit which I told them I do not want. They are refusing to pay and blaming the airlines for not refunding. I will never book again with them as they are terrible!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.
