Dont do it. Just dont Let this company go bankrupt its bad really bad. Look at all the reviews and just say to yourself. Do i want to lose money to and unreliable platform. I lost over 230$. They credit back 15$
They scammed me out of my new years travel to Thailand. 2019 was supposed to be a wonderful year with a beautiful start in Thailand. As soon as I got to the check-in at the airport, they saw my tickets as separate itineraries so they thought I was staying to vietnam (my connecting flight to thailand) by which you need a visa. Flight attendants said i would have been allowed on if they could verify with a simple confirmation number for the last connecting flight from Vietnam to Thailand. Kiwi could not provide that so I spent my New Years alone. I quit my job for this trip, I have been a state of depression for 6 months now. That was supposed to be my "new beginning." I am jobless, alone, and terribly depressed in 2019... all thanks to Kiwi.com
We have booked flights on kiwi. But they create an anonymous email and password for you to access the airline website (Ryanair). Also, to check in, for each flight and passenger (we had 6), you have to do an identity check: live video, difficult to take passport photo, video test (look right, left, smile)... before you can log in to your personal space, and then start the classic check-in process again (passport number, address, etc etc etc...). I have to admit that it's maddening and that many people wouldn't have been able to go through this stressful stage before departure. I've never seen this on other travel websites (mytrip, edream...) so avoid Kiwi!
Bought 2 tickets for my girlfriend and her daughter to return home to Mexico. Kiwi alerts me one week before departing that they cannot check in any baggage! I called them and their excuse was because the layover in one stop was less than 45 minutes they couldn't allow checked baggage. I didn't make the itinerary they did! Absolute bull$#*!! Then they said my refund would be $10. Wow. I am going to pursue ruining these people if it cost me thousands and a year of my time. This should be and may be against the law. I will get to the bottom of it. STAY AWAY FROM KIWI!
Kiwi.com is a total scam and they will not refund your money for guaranteed cancelations well in advance of the trip. Their responses are crazy, poorly written (like grade schoolers) and merely delay tactics to wear you down; none of their explanations make any sense at all. I was duped! Never book from them regardless of the discount. You will lose your money!
When I bought a one way ticket, I did mistake on the date. So I canceled this ticket and booked another one, same passenger, same destination but different date of departure. What happen with the first one? I lost it because they refused to refund it. Only few hours between the first ticket and the second one. Less than 24 hours transaction and they don't do anything. They just steal me 2300$ from my pocket. Easy money for them. Don't buy anymore from Kiwi.com. Very dangerous and thief company.
I purchased a ticket from them and it happens that I got to cancel my trip due to an emergency. First off, there is no way of contacting them as such it is obvious that I am not going to get my refund. I have not travelled with them before; it was going to be my first trip ever with them. I cancelled y trip the same day that I purchased it and even that I still don' get a refund. Kiwi. Com seems to be a scam company which is trying to steal people's money. Please avoid dealing with them!
This company is a complete scam, never use them. I booked through them a flight for a specific time and after a few weeks they rescheduled to a flight time that I would never have booked if I had known before. This was Kiwi.com system's fault and not because of a change in the airline's schedule, as the airline was not listing on its website a flight for the time listed on Kiwi.com since before I booked through Kiwi.com. Even after spending hours on the phone and explaining the situation thoroughly Kiwi.com has denied any responsibility and is not giving me a refund, I am never going to use them again.
I've never been lied to this many times in 24 hours. They didn't know where my flight departed from, they told me they had booked another flight for me and in the end that flight didn't exist, the told me they were going to book a hotel for me and then changed their minds. Terrible customer service, terrible UX. The CEO of this company is a criminal.
I have been waiting for months now and still no refund. I did a chargeback through Halifax credit card but they disputed it. They keep referring to their terms and conditions that they did their part of the deal, even though the airplanes have been cancelled and that they issue refunds.
First they offered me 20% in kiwi credits and now nothing. I have to go through an assisted refund and wait for another 3 months to see wether I can get anything back.
I will never ever use them again in my entire life as they do not have any respect of consderation for their customers. There are many horror stories out there on Facebook and many still didn't get a refund. This looks more like a great scam artist than an honest travel agent.

Once I ordered my tickets with Kiwi.com they started to change the itinerary multiple times demanding more money for me to keep the flight. After it reached 80 euroes extra they gave me the option to pay more or ask for a refund. Naturally after Kiwi.com changed the itinerary multiple times i asked for a refund. That was over 12 months ago. They say they are not responsible for the refund but the carrier/airline is. I have emailed the carrier/airline and they have no booking or booking number records of what Kiwi.com claims. They have given me a false booking number. The airline also confirms that they are in no way or shape cooperating with Kiwi.com nor are they allowed/authorized to sell their tickets.
This company is 100% Scam. They will take your money then sell you "false" flights. When you try to confirm with the carrier they deny having any relations with Kiwi.com. You will be sold false tickets, and you will never get your money back. STAY AWAY!
These incompetent SOBs stole $500 US from me. I booked a flight with them and got double-charged by both them and the airline. When we tried to resolve it we got stone-walled by their overseas support team. They were incapable of helping us, so we canceled the fight. I had to call into cancel it and was told that I would receive a full refund since it less than 24 hours since I booked it. Turns out, it was a non-refundable ticket and that money is now gone. But on top of it we still have the double airline charge and when we called kiwi to resolve it they told us to call united. I did this and united said they couldn't help since my only booking number was generated by kiwi and united didn't recognize it. So I got my bank and they will have to fight it out for us. Disgusting company!
I booked 2 Ryanair flights via Kiwi only to discover later that the option to upgrade luggage was 10x more expensive than the one offered directly via Ryanair. I would be forced to pay 200 instead or 20 essentially. I also discovered that all other options related to change or add services to my flights where either equally expensive or not available to me due yo my booking via Kiwi. On top of that all flights notifications were made via Kiwi and not the flight operator. Kiwi refused all my contact attempts to provide access to my own flight information and ultimately I decided to file a formal complaint at European Union Consumer Rights.
Will never again use their services and discourage all my friends to book via them.
Cancelled flights due to a pandemic and what are the options Kiwi proposed to get my money back?
1. Immediate refund in KIWI CREDIT of probably less than half of what I have paid
2. Assisted refund for which I have to pay! And no guarantees I will get anything back plus a time window of 6 months
You better come up with option 3 if you want to remain in business.
I booked a flight through their website and despite never having received a booking confirmation, they withdrew the money from my account. 12 hours later they still have my money and still haven't confirmed my flight. When I call them they tell me they're still working on it. How can it take 12 hours to book a flight. It's a scam
That's the worst flight ever I seen. Please don't trust them.no gate number.no notification sitting at airport more then 10hrs also if you call them to reschedule then u have to pay again to book flight please don't use kiwi airlines
Missed my connecting flight and Kiwi didn't do anything about it claiming it was the airline's fault and said that I had to go and sort it out with them directly.
This caused a lot of stress and I didn't even get a partial refund or anything.
I wouldn't recommend and I won't be using their services again.
My life was never been more worse than this... They are suckers, scammers and scumbags... Even if they say that they will refund you any cost related to missed flight, even if they commit to it on phone, they will never pay for it!. $#*!ing liars these people are!
I can only corroborate that the guarantee is not worth the paper it is printed on. I booked three flights costing a total of over EUR 1,300, believing they were on one ticket (twice the price of two tickets). It turned out there were two booking codes, so when one flight was delayed, there was no compensation. And the return flight was cancelled. Absolutely no question of a refund. NEVER again!
Purchased a flight for and their system booked for a totally different day 10 days latter than the date selected, that date wasn't even in my search parameters! Contacted them and they refused a refund, even though US law requires it
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection.
