I booked an air ticket through Kiwi.com and had to cancel due to bad weather. Kiwi support team did not help at all and the air line was kind enough to issued me a voucher for the amount I paid. The voucher details were copied to kiwi as they were the issuing party of the ticket. When I tried to book a flight using the voucher it was already used. After so many emails and calls with air line and kiwi agents, kiwi agreed that it was used by their travel agent.
Now it is already 6 months passed and they still saying it is under investigation. Still I did not receive my money or voucher back.
Those that intend to buy Flight ticket thru Kiwi.com MUST BE extremely careful. They sold you Air Tickets that the Airlines already cancelled flights and my goodness, even inform them about it and they still put up for sales for the whole period of time. When asking for refund, they conned you to pay a express charges to quick settle your refund, but this is another scammed! They will never process for you and giving all sorts of reasons to to delay and push all blames to third party flight operators etc etc. This is the first time that I encountered such a frightening online company and all my money is gone!
This company has a weird saver ticket which does not allow you to change a booking. If you need to change such a ticket, you are told to cancel your ticket and purchase a new one. They then refund you 10 Euro as a 'goodwill gesture'. My ticket was around 500 Euro. This is the first time I've used Kiwi.com, and definitely, the last. It is a complete SCAM.
Should have read all the bad reviews before I booked with them. They booked me an international flight and failed to tell me that CARRY ON Luggage was not allowed. How is anyone supposed to travel with nothing but the clothes on your back. They were unable to assist me and this travel has already been more of a headache then I needed.
Tickets from the first Corona wave were refunded by the Airline (Airline showed me the transfer) to Kiwi but Kiwi did not pass on funds to me & went dark on any communication. Going to court in Czech Republic now where kiwi is located which is a big hassle. They must be practically bankrupt if they need to defraud customers to keep operating.
Don't book any flight with kiwi.com they will ripping off you pls be careful they don't have any customer car or email to reply pls contact me i want to lodge legal action against them this is my email *******@gmail.com
I have been waiting 6 months for a refund. The airline has confirmed they returned the flight fees to Kiwi, but they refuse to send the money back. Customer service is unresponsive and rude when approached. Their business processes and ethics are practically criminalistic and unacceptable.
The worst experience ever. 6 months try to get my refund. Every time they told me we will come back to you within 48 hours, Now I have been waiting for 4800 hours - so far -, and still counting.
However, I pay for flexible booking to get KIWI guarantee, but this guarantee is just bullsh*t.

I unfortunately had to make a changes to a round-trip flight I booked 1 day ago that is 3+ months out. I booked with the 'super saver' (or whatever they call it) and my understanding was that included the ability to make changes if necessary. However I was told that because the trip had 'already been ticketed by the airline' there was nothing I could do, I would need to purchase a new round-trip flight. But they would give me a $10 discount. (me rolling my eyes.)
Unless your trip is set in stone and you are somehow getting an amazing deal by using them, please don't give them your money! There are many other companies to chose from!
Very bad dissatisfied with the service. They never reply to my complaint regards the flight I booked and was not able to use. I come to know that they got the refund of USD 1300 from the airline and did not pay me back. But ignored to reply emails and complain! Very BAD
One son purchased a plane ticket - flight was cancelled an Kiwi refused to refund. Second son, just purchase a one way and had to change his booking to another date thinking he'd pay the difference as done worldwide by the airlines. Wrong they refused to refund and stole his money.
They are thieves stay away and buy direct from airlines only.
After booking airline ticket on kiwi.com for a trip, I would NEVER NEVER NEVER use this site again. It costed me $200 more because of the worst customer service on this planet
1. Ticket is booked, paid in Europe with credit card of a relative in USA (same last name)
2. Kiwi emails that the it's going to take 12 hours to process it because third party (?) did not approve the transaction
3. Since the ticket is for next day, I called after exactly 12 hours (the day of travel), and was on hold for more than an hour. Asked for supervisor but agent refused to connect me with him/her.
4. Finally was told that another 6 hours in needed. (3 hours before the flight)
5. Asked for cancelation but was directed to their web site
6. Received cancelation email after another 30 minute
7. Went to real site Expedia and bough different ticket. The price went up and had to pay $200 more. NEVER AGAIN!
I am writing this review to warn other customers not to be cheated by the company. Unfortunately I had bought tickets from kiwi last year and the flight was cancelled because of Covid. I claimed a refund but although it has been over a year they did not send my refund. They still lie that they had refunded but there is no money, my bank checked and said that they did not send any refund. They do not supply any e mail or phone number to contact there is no customers service. They are not ashamed of lying to say that they refunded me
Booked a flight and asked for cancellation details and accepted the additional cost for cancellation with agent who barely spoke English. Unfortunately I had to cancel the flight and no refund was issued. Next time I will book directly with the airline. Stay away from this non English language speaking company.
Kiwi have about the worst refund policy you'll find anywhere. They lead you to believe you can get a refund with statements like "you can cancel your flight up to 48 hours before departure" but they do not disclose that the refund is only 2% of what you paid, which is given to you as flight credit for rebooking. You click on 'refunds and cancellations' on your booking screen, and the popup that comes up is blank, I assume that's where they're meant to state that the refund is only 2% of the fare. Even in the refund terms and conditions it doesn't state refund is only 2%.
Dealing with their customer service is very stressful, they know exactly what they're doing but play dumb, and insist that the customer was 'well informed' of their refund policy.
Kiwi charging $1500 to reschedule a cancelled flight. We booked the flight the other way with another booking company. The flight was also cancelled, yet the cost to reschedule was $0. Kiwi is clearly not competitive with other booking companies, and we have been price gouged by them. They gained $1500, lost a customer for life...
Worst experience I've ever had with a booking company. We paid for our flight, they charged us for our flight and took the money out of my account but when we got to the airport the airline said there was an issue with the booking company and we needed to pay again. I had to pay twice for the same flight because this company sucks so bad. When i reached them they said I needed to file paperwork and wait 90 days to get a response. After this awful experience, this company seems like a scam. Not only did we have to pay twice for the flight, we almost missed it because it took them an hour to figure out what was wrong (which didn't work obviously because we had to pay twice anyway). My wife had an asthma attack running across the airport. It was so bad that they almost kicked us off the plane because she was coughing and choking. Horrible, horrible experience. Go with a normal booking site that won't scam you, steal your money, and strand you at the airport.

I paid $254 dollars for reservations with two airlines that would get me from Washington D. C. to Mexico City through kiwi. I got the "standard" package so I could rebook if I needed to. I missed the 48-hour window by a few hours and they refused to let me rebook. I got the reservation numbers and looked up the flights on the airline websites. The total for both reservations was $190. Lesson learned it's not worth trying to save $10 using Kiwi.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.
