Do not book through Kiwi, they charged me $136 for what Frontier Airlines called a $96 ticket. Then they screwed up my country of residence, name, email address, and phone number. To fix all of these they charge $334. I am nervous to check in and if I will even be able to get my ticket for my flight.
They cancelled my flight without telling me, charged me, international fees to call the customer service, and after over 30 days I am still having to call them and try to get through weekly for a supposed reimbursement. The customer service isn't authorized to transfer you to anyone with power to do anything. They also wasted 12 hours of my time at the airport and refused to reimburse me for the rental car gas and insurance that I had to take from an airport five hours away because they were too slow getting back to me and trying to deny my refund meanwhile the flights I needed all sold out.
It is too bad I did not check this website's 1 star review before using kiwi.com Absolutely terrible support and service - I cannot believe still in business. I believe because they offer the cheapest rates they are able to still operate but AVOID even if you need to pay double elsewhere.
I tried to book with this company, the biggest mistake EVER! They sent a e-mail that my booking will be proceeded within 20 minutes, then in the site appeared the booking was not made following with a mail that said make your booking as prices go up fast. At the time no e-ticket was sent. Then i made a booking though the airline. After 4 hours and after midnight in my country they sent the confirmation mail. They insist that this is not their mistake. Bad service, bad booking experience. Only book through the airline, that's the best and safest option not to get SCAMMED!

We bought tickets with LOT via Kiwi. The flight was cancelled due to a pandemic. When tried to get the refund they just refer to get the request and maybe after few months they will come back to me with some feedback. So meantime I asked LOT what is the situation, They confirmed they refunded my money to Kiwi a month ago. What? Kiwi you are liars. I started communicating with my bank to use the cashback option as it seems to be the only solution.
I have had many bad experiences with restaurants, bars, hotels, flights, etc over the years. Those experiences have never pushed me to write a review although I have thought about it plenty of times. Dealing with Kiwi.com has been the most unpleasant customer service experience in my life (33 years old). I just hope that this review will help at least 1 person to not book with them to "try" and save some money. As I am writing this, it has been 1 year after my Kiwi purchase and 9 months after a requested refund (some of my flights were cancelled by the airlines) I have still not received a refund. Please do not do business with this company.
I booked a ticket from NY to Paris to Clermont-Ferrand (France) and got stuck at the airport because I didn't have a visa for. Spain! Reason being that my flight from New York to Paris was continuing its trip to its final destination in Madrid, Spain and they had booked me on it without me knowing. They expected me to just ignore that leg of the trip and get off in Paris. Except that at JFK they refused to let me board without a visa for Spain even though I was not going to Spain. A total mess. Of course none of that was mentioned on my reservation. Their excuse: it was mentioned in my kiwi.com consumer account that I should have created and checked. Really? 30 years of traveling and I have never once checked my airline "account". I use my ticket confirmation with the itinerary, thank you very much. I would rate Kiwi zero if I could.
Minimal customer service- not worth the Minimal savings. Hack their hack if you want but book directly with airline to protect yourself. Stuck in Seville on a Ryanair delay - thats another "only if you have to service" and everyone tossing their hands in air, not even a sorry. Just plan on a crappy experience with both of these CHEAP companies. Clowns!
I booked a flight with Kiwi.com from Boston to Los Angeles, and then decided to cancel them within the 24 hour cancellation window. However, Kiwi refused to cancel the tickets unless I agreed to an undisclosed fee. I ended up cancelling with the airlines (Jetblue and Delta) directly, and was told that Kiwi had used cash (in indian rupees!) to pay for the flight, and they would be issuing a check back to Kiwi. I also called my bank to dispute the charge.
Flight always on delay and add stop even for short flights! Moreover, website for checking didn't work several times and I've to pay check in at the desk in airport. Customer service useless and never had a refund back! At the end was extremely stressful and expensive! Absolutely a company to be banned!
Worst service ever. The airline changed their schedule but Kiwi refused to give me an alternative flights the work for me. They do not let you to call them, only through messages. But it takes a few days to actually do something although replying messages were quick. But those are standard useless messages
I made a mistake on booking with my name and reported it same day. They came back to confirm it is fixed. Mistake only on my name. Now i must pay 4 new tickets for me and my wife for these 2 flights. After more tha 1 month i checked my flight details and want to book seats and realise airline cancel one flight with no refund and without letting me know. Now they want me to sort out the problem while already on holiday and have to buy tickets again. This is so pathetic!
Don't book with this company, their customer service is useless, they sound like a broken record! Not willing to find a solution with the customer, instead wanting to give excuses… never booking with them again!

We are Ukrainian refugees and back in May we bought tickets to come from Poland to Canada for 7 people. 6 000$. Kiwi never booked tickets for us. And we left in the airport without any response from the company. No refund. Im definitely taking case to court
When I was purchasing this flight, the options which came up with the price told me that carry-on luggage would be included, however something in the fine print changed as I proceeded to payment, as I got the nasty surprise of having to pay $35 each way at the last minute to check-in what would have been my carry-on luggage. I wouldn't have selected this flight option had I known the total cost. I find this deceptive and unacceptable.
If your ordering flights through Kiwi and need to do a round trip, do not except them to help during your trip. Their insurance expires 4 days before your first flight and is no longer available afterwards, so if you get sick for example (like I did) from Covid-19 there's no way to get your money back!
If you still want to use them I'd recommend you order a one way to your first destination and another for your trip back because that's the only way you'll be eligible for reimbursement; IF you stick by their guidelines (even then from reading the other reviews I doubt you'd get it).
Do yourself a favor and look for a booking agent with at least some positive reviews, there's a reason Kiwi has a bad reputation.
It was a major mistake booking with these people. First issue is, you don't even get to bring luggage on an international flight. If you insist, you have to fork out an extra 350$ to do so. Second, even if you avoid the 350, you still have to pay 50$ for a carry on! SMH
To make matters worse, they email you your ticket at the last minute! Pls avoid this nonsense organization. Kiwi is a joke.

I swear I'm not even a person that does reviews on anything but from how much I'm shocked & in denial that a horrible company like this even exists. I will make sure you guys are closed because this is legit a scam. They lied & said they refunded us the $764 flight we booked we've been going back & forth about this since September & they're lying to my bank that I'm trying to dispute it with & Idk how to prove it to them except to show them a screenshot of my account & that there's no credit on there. & they're lying to my bank & telling them that they did send it back. & the worst people work there they will hang up the phone on your face & wil talk very unprofessionally
I made an error by booking a flight using their calendar but accidentally chose the wrong month. (Note: the month that populates in the calendar is not the current month.) Since I bought the least expensive ticket, Kiwi does not provide good customer service unless you buy a more expensive ticket. You can't cancel with them without a huge penalty. In my case, my ticket was $150, and they only offered me an $11 refund or discount on a different ticket even though I tried to cancel the same day that I made the purchase. And you are unable to cancel or change tickets with the airline if you bought your ticket from an outside vendor like Kiwi. I won't ever buy through Kiwi again!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
