Get raped. Absolutely. We tried so hard for help, but no. No help.
We booked our flights from IAD to LIS via Kiwi. The Kiwi confirmation shows the right itinerary but Air Portugal website shows we are flying to London Via Lisbon. When we called the customer service within 24 hours, we were told that we will not be able to check in any bags as they will arrive in London (not Lisbon). Kiwi refused to change or cancel my ticket. We paid $2100+ to book this itinerary and are being told that we will only get 10 euros back in Kiwi credits if we cancel. This vacation is stressful with 2 kids even before it has started. This is very upsetting and unethical behavior. We feel cheated with no where to go for help

Pls do yourself a favour, and book directly through the airline. In no way what so ever is this company's intention to save you money as they claim they do. I made bookings for about 6 adults on kiwi.com platform and 2 others on the airlines site with significantly different pricing per adult. Keep in mind they included checked baggage that was $100 less (airlines site)
After further assessing the itinerary, they (kiwi) had charged me the same price as an adult for an infant who would be sitting on my lap. I called the airlines directly to ask about infant pricing and they confirmed it should only be 20% of the adult price! THIS IS TRULY AN UNETHICAL COMPANY WHO ARE PURELY MONEY GRABBERS. I don't mind paying more for something I find value in, but to be sneaky is something else.
* pls note I called customer service, no one provided a reasonable, clarified answer which was satisfactory. When I asked some simple questions, they took ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, GAVE ME SOME BS REASONS WHICH MADE 0 SENSE & WERE COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL.
* I was further disgusted even more when asked to speak to the supervisor, who wasn't any better than the agent
* when asked to speak to a higher authority than the supervisor, I was told I could not and it ends with her.
* when asked to speak to the owner or provide an email address to express my concerns, they hung up on me….

One day my flight disappeared from the manage my booking section of the airline, and got an email from Kiwi pretending that the airline had cancelled my flight whilst I could still see it in their own websites a d many other apps.
Following up with them with hundreds and hundreds of messages, and every time some random person offering meaningless apologies but giving me zero action back.
I kept asking them to put me on a different flight, I even searched through their own website and sent them screenshots of the available results but they repeated the same nonsense that the flight that I was asking for "doesn't exist".
Meanwhile, because I had searched through their websites, their marketing team kept sending me emails asking me to proceed with my search and finish the bookings, "shocking"!
This company is the absolute meaning of disgust, fraud, scams and whatever you want to call them. Stay away from it.
For them it's as easy as putting their hand in your pocket and picking up the cash, leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere and walking away from you.
The relevant Information on the eticket is printed in very small size. Moreover there are several booking numbers on it. One of kiwi and others of the carrier. Easy to make mistakes when you these numbers for online check in which kiwi does not provide for all flights booked using kiwi. Intransparency about luggage costs. Everything that does not fit under seat will be charged with penalties at the Airports.

They are my travel agent and didn't tell me that the useless Air India Express and the Indian govt demand a visa for transit So I go to get my boarding pass and I can't board but get told I need to wait 2-3 days at Sharjah airport for a visa! So I go to Dubai and get ripped off by Emirates to get home sooner

I bought a return ticket from Penang to Banda Aceh. The return flight was scheduled for September 11th, 2023. To our shock and dismay, the return flight was cancelled without notice. This incident has forced us to buy a returning ticket at an unforeseen additional cost. A request for a refund was submitted on the same day. There was no action until January 2024. I was given the option to select refund to the original account that I used to purchase the ticket or select Kiwi credit. As a person with a sound state of mind, I definitely selected a refund to my account (monetary form). However, Kiwi.com manipulatively sent a notification that I had selected a refund to my Kiwi credit, which I did not and will never do due to my bad experience with them. When I send messages for the refund to be made in monetary form, the support staff keep repeating that I have selected credit AND REFUSED TO REFUND ME IN MONETARY FORM!
I urged people to stop using Kiwi.com as they are totally SCAMMERS!

The company over charged me £244.61 for checked baggage and I found out it has been included in the ticket. By the time I booked the ticket, there are only two options 'I don't need checked baggage' or purchase '1x checked bag 23kg'. And there is a notice 'Only available now. You cannot add checked baggage after booking.'. I paid the money and Kiwi cheats on me and do not accept to refund to me for the overcharge amount!
The airline canceled the flight due to weather, they even issued a letter stating the flight was canceled BUT kiwi.com would not refund me. They are dishonest and I would advise anyone reading this to book directly with the airline VS going through this company since they have zero ability to resolve any flight issues.
It will be our first and LAST experience with Kiwi.com. After we booked our flight within 48 hours we received a notification that one of the flight was canceled by the carrier. Upon Calling the carrier (Morocco airlines) we were told that on the same date of the booking there were no PNRs on our name( SCAM). Then they send us rebooking alternatives for additional 600 dollars to rebook either that or cancel the booking and won't tell us the refund amount. When pressed they tell us that we may not refund u at all (mind you they are the one cancelled the flight). When asked for a customer care contact in india (worlds most populous country) they surprisingly don't have a contact and apparently we should make an international call to the UK to get this thing sorted. So overall - we should pay for rebooking or cancelling the partial booking for the flights THEY cancelled! And they ensure u can't reach out to them by asking us to call International.
I tried to cancel my flights with kiwi.com as soon as I found out about the flight restrictions that would keep me from flying. I asked for cancellation and refund within 2 days of booking, 2 months before my flight was going out. They told me they would review my request and let me know in 3 months. All they did was give me a $10.22 credit which is a joke. They are considered a legal scam company. They make these rules to where you can not get a refund, and they do not even try to help. This is why they can scam you legally. Stay away from this place
SCAM - Kiwi made us book a flight which doesnt exist. We almost had been stuck in a foreign country. When I called the hotline, they wanted us to pay for new ticket flights. We had to fly to a city 500km from our home and then pay again to commute.
Kiwi replied to our compensation claim more than 2months after. Their response was "your flight wasnt disrupted" and then they close our request. Ofc the flight wasnt disrupted it did not exist!
Don't expect any help from them if you have any trouble with your reservation.
Flight got canceled. No help for change flight. Kiwi ask us to pay €1700,- extra while same flight we could find online our selves for 300,-! Big scam. Let us hours on the phone, extra costs. Bad speaking person on the line. Couldn't help. Terrible. It took us 52 hours to reach our destination. Kiwi sucks.
They have never proceed to refund on flight travel cancelled during the Covid crisis. So don't buy anything on this website because if something went wrong you will never seen a refund.

Instead of honoring their commitment, these swindlers thought it appropriate to reimburse me a mere 277 USD. Their excuse? A feeble redirection, suggesting I take the matter up with my bank. I experienced severe service issues with your app, resulting in over €400 in extra expenses. Despite a delayed flight, your team's advice was unhelpful, with non-functional contact numbers and ignored requests for alternative assistance. The app falsely indicated my flight cancellation, causing further confusion. Misguided information and lack of timely responses exacerbated the situation, leading to significant financial loss and inconvenience.
Bought tickets through kiwi and paid for bag and when we got to the airport the airline said we didn't have a bag paid for although we saw it when booking with kiwi and paid 129$ for it. We ended up having to pay again. Contacted them and they were not willing to refund or do anything about it. Even the airline rep said that kiwi are thiefs because it happens often. Do not book with them!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection.
