Kiwi.com are real cheaters! My booked flights on 2/1/2021 have been canceled by the flights company. I have tried with Kiwi.com in order to get refunded with no answer, just lies! Recently, they have tried to cheat and provide voucher with the half of the amount and claimed that they have not got refunded from the flights company, and they are trying their best to help the customers for getting the refund. I contacted Corendon airlines today with my details PNR: P18NKT, and Kiwi booking number: *******. Corendon airlines informed me and provided me with a written confirmation that they have made the transfer and refunded the tickets money to Kiwi.com on 1st November 2021, so they have confirmed to me that Kiwi.com are cheaters and cheating their customers. No one of them is answering or could explain why until now I have not received any refund?
I booked a 1 hour long flight between an island and mainland when I was travelling with my husband. After I paid for the flight tickets I got a confirmation email... Only for it to say they were still processing my booking? Weird. Checked my credit card, yup, the money was taken out.
The next morning I check the status of my booking again and see that it says "cancelled by carrier". What the heck? Ok. I want my money back! I get an email saying I can try for a full refund. I click the link. Goes to the Kiwi.com website then a page pops up saying it can no longer find my booking. I read a bunch of the small print and it says if I don't respond or take any action they will refund me in full on the same card I used to buy the tickets within 10 business days. Ugh. Ok.
I wait 11 business days and nothing get refunded. I contact Kiwi.com through their online messaging bot. I find out that I was refunded but in Kiwi credit. When I explain that is not what I wanted and I want my real mo ey back, they simply said that Kiwi credit is IMPOSSIBLE to turn back into actual money to give me my refund. This sucks. I lost $467. For a flight that would only last 1 hour. So because I had to rebook somewhere else, I ended up dropping over $600 for a plane ride that lasted 47 minutes.
I don't know if I even want to use my credits for how unreliable and badly rated Kiwi is.
I booked a ticket from Cairo to Melbourne via Kuwait airport, Chennai airport and Kuala Lumpur airport.
I wasn't allowed to get the boarding pass in Cairo airport because one of the air lines responsible for a connecting flight (air india) refused to allow me to catch the next flight due to both flights being "budget carries".
I contacted Kiwi.com through their own mobile app while being in Cairo airport at the counters.
Kiwi.com took 8 hours to reply. And their word was like the rest of the stories here

I booked a flight from Tijuana through Mexico City and San Salvador to Managua. These unprofessional and incompetent people created one Kiwi Reservation, but with three airline reservation codes. They made separate booking codes for the two connecting Avianca flights. Avianca then at check in were not able to tag the bags all the way to Managua. The bags had to be collected in San Salvador, and then rechecked, except there was only a 50 minute layover so we missed the flight to Managua. NEVER BOOK WITH THESE FOOLS AGAIN
Unfortunately there is no 0 stars and I have put at least 1. Believe me they don't worth it. If only you have a chance to avoid dealing with this company you must to avoid it.
I wish I had come across this page before making a $900 mistake! I booked a trip to Breckenridge, CO from Dallas, TX. I realised within moments of the confirmation that the dates were a week off. I called and they told me to cancel the trip and rebook using the correct dates- which I did. I then got an email stating that Kiwi is not responsible for refunds and they would have to check with the airline. The airline confirmed a partial (50%) refund which Kiwi confirmed with me via email. I waited 8 weeks and still no credit posted to my account. When I contacted Kiwi about this they said I had 3 hours to approve the refund and that I hadn't called them to confirm it. I HAD called them AND emailed them within the hour of receiving confirmation of the refund. They are LIARS and THIEVES. Will be reporting them to the BBB in the United States. Not sure what else can be done to stop this fraud.
Booked a flight via Kiwi with a connecting flight. Airline changed first leg by half a day which would make me miss the second flight. Response from KIWI: You accepted that carriers can make changes and that we don't make refunds if this affects your travel. WHAT? Sell something and without delivering but keeping the money! Purchased £4000 worth of flights 4 ppl. They were denied board and told they needed a transit visa for France. I called France embassy and it was rubbish. Now we're getting ignored.!
I faced lot of issues after booking with them. There is absolutely no customer support. I did not get any refund even though I cancelled my flight and never travelled with them.
DO NOT USE! BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH AIRLINE! Kiwi unlawfully terminated my flight itinerary on the day of my departure. I had to pay double the price for a new round trip through a different service. Kiwi is attempting to not issue me a full refund despite their unnecessary cancellation with the airline. Never trust this website or their call agents!
THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU AS THEY DID TO ME. My flights would be refundable by Iberia if I booked with them, but Kiwi doesn't want to refund my flights (Iberia) even though my country (France) cannot let me travel since a few days. THEY will then be able to get a refund without refund me...
TIP#1: I did a chargeback with my credit card, apparently as I red on Reddit there is a big chance that your credit company (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX) will accept the chargeback.
TIP#2: Never book with KIWI and deal directly with the airline company.

Not recomended for anyone. Customer services is sucks, they will hang up the phone on you after putting you on hold. They will confirmed your reservation and after you are been waitng at the airport they said there was an issued and they couldn't issue your ticket after you're beeing at the airport, Now I have to wait for a refund a whole 5 business day. No other solutions was provided more than them beeing a $#*!.
I'm in New Zealand, and I booked flight and made the payment, but in the end they charge me for the US dollars, it almost 2 times expensive than the New Zealand dollars! I called them, why there's no sign or note shows it's US dollar, they said I should change the currency and it's hide in the upper right corner! Who will notice it? I mean we spend money in our country but not paying by our country's currency?! SUCH A FRAUD!!!DON'T USE THIS WEBSITE!

Norwegian airlines refunded them our fare and they have kept it 4 months later they now wont take calls unless you have a new booking reference

My flight itinerary has been changes 4 times and I had to pay for the changes. It's better to go directly through a major carrier. They also charge $100 to check a luggage. Total rip off!
I recently had the misfortune of booking my flights through Kiwi.com, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Several months before my scheduled trip, I received an email informing me that my flights had been canceled with no explanation whatsoever. To make matters worse, Kiwi.com provided no alternative options except for booking entirely new flights at my own expense or waiting for a refund.
Opting for the refund seemed like the logical choice, but little did I know that it would take a whopping six months to process! Initially, Kiwi.com assured me that the refund would be completed within 90 days and that I would receive 80-90% of my flight costs back. However, this turned out to be a blatant lie.
Throughout the refund process, the customer service was abysmal. It felt like I was talking to a bot, as each response was generic and unhelpful. It became increasingly clear that Kiwi.com had no intention of providing satisfactory assistance or communication.
To add insult to injury, I later discovered that when Kiwi.com requests a refund from the airlines, they only request the tax back, not the actual value of the tickets. This was confirmed by the airlines themselves, leaving me feeling deceived and cheated.
Overall, my experience with Kiwi.com was nothing short of a disaster, and I will never be using their services again. Save yourself the headache and book your flights elsewhere.

BEWARE OF KIWI- I initially booked 2 round trip tickets to Denver through Kiwi for Nov.17- Nov. 20,2022. For personal reason we had to reschedule, and I was told that we would get a partial refund. I have received nothing. Our trip was rescheduled for Jan 19- Jan. 22,2023.
On Sunday Jan. 22 we were scheduled to fly out of Denver at 4:09 PM. At 12:40 PM, while still in Boulder, an hour from the airport, I got a text from Kiwi telling me that our flight has been moved up to 1:15 PM! I checked the boarding pass that I downloaded from Kiwi that morning, and it said 4:09 PM. We rushed to the airport, got there at 2 PM, and were told by the Frontier supervisor that they could put us on a flight 2 days later, the problem was with Kiwi, and they would not take any responsibility. Meanwhile, I was still getting texts from Kiwi that our flight was due to leave at 4:09. Our only option was to get very expensive last minute one way tickets ($373 each) on another airline and sit around in the airport for 6 1/2 hours. The round-trip to Denver, which was originally supposed to cost us $353 for the two of us, ended up costing us $1500.
I will be satisfied with nothing less than a full refund. I do not intend to keep quiet about this.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.
