The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I received and downloaded the training guide which is helping but a long way to go as far as barking and biting. She escaped on us twice yesterday and 1 time on Friday but stayed in our backyard and neighbors back yard running in the snow. She was having fun and it wore her out
Signals work great as long as my dog is in sight. Otherwise I need to use my voice, which also works since the two were learned together.
I have learnt a lot from receiving emails from the K9 Institute, and am putting them into practice with my 13 month old Maltese Shih Tzu. Would definitely recommend.
The ppl are very nice polite and considerate and very caring about animals
This workshop provided insightful, clear to understand explanations on how dogs learn. After training many dogs over my lifetime my current furbaby came to us with some issues we had never dealt with before. This workshop gave me some insight into how I could approach him differently and understand how he learns.
Very simple but understandable to train your dog. I live the visuals presented.
It's been a while since I've had a puppy. And canine has been instrumental in helping me to train and deal with my puppy. You came to me as a 17 pound. Four month old and grew into a fifty pound Pupppy. Key 9 has been good for giving me alt training to use with him when dealing with a difficult and very hyper Pup.
I have been receiving your email tips. Really find them useful.
The free workshop was very good. I have a degree in psychology but reviewing operant conditioning for dogs and how to apply it to them was very insightful. Also the use of body language makes perfect sense as they do not speak English.
The workshop was presented well and had some good examples of the different versions of training with consequences. It gave some good pointers and really got me interested in the program.
Just in a few days my baby has learned a few new tricks, such good information
I found the information shared gave me some great tips in training my puppy especially integrating hand signals instead of words! 👍
I cannot wait to start the master class. This was just a glimpse of what we get to learn.
Very detailed instruction that makes sense, my dog is coming along very nicely, thanks for the tips.
I first came across the K9TI training from an ad on Youtube but was immediately intrigued. I watched the entire introduction video and was planning to purchase it. Even after the special offer however, I am not able to afford the price and am hoping that the little bit of information they provided in the video will help with my dog as well. Overall I believe this is a very credible site that provides loads of great information but for me personally (A college student) it is just not in my budget.
I thought the "free" training video was going to be a scam - you know - keep watching and watching and watching and NEVER get the info till they tell you they have to pay for it. Not the case here. Many helpful tips.
The video alone was very helpful, explaining the 4 quadrants of training and how to stop your dog from jumping on people
The training videos have been very helpful and have given me some great useful insights into my dogs behavior.
The introduction video provided realistic and easy to follow advice for training a dog, highlighting common trouble behaviors.
