I am a disabled veteran that has been erroneously charged property taxes on my residence in Texas. The servicer increased the mortgage payment by opening an escrow, paying a bill that was sent in error, and has attempted to force me to pay the increased payment with the tax payment they made, divided into 12 equal installments. When I kept paying my regularly schedule payment amount for principal, interest and the insurance escrow - they cashed the payment but did not credit the mortgage. In turn, they claimed a default for unpaid amounts.
Dr. Alex was so patient and kind with me, even after I didn't respond right away. He went above and beyond and made me feel like I could take all the time to ask the questions I had. We have two small dogs that were acting very strange after a long walk in the woods off leash.
