Because of the trouble I am having with a car dealership, I had no other place to turn. My wife and I were in a bind. We were changing our impeller on a Mercury 150 Optimax Pro XS. We got the lower unit off and changed impeller no problem but couldn't get the lower unit back on.
After watching every youtube video and calling every friend for advice I got lucky and found this website.
It took about 10 minutes to get a call back from a mechanic but in about 7 minutes on the phone I knew exactly what to do. I am really surprised a resource like this exists. Definitely worth it.
