OMG, I didn't think customer service could be this bad. And I can see here I am far from being the only one! The order page informed me that my delivery would be within 30-40 minutes (the restaurant was a mile away). This kept getting pushed back as they said they were 'locating a driver'. After an hour and a half I called the restaurant, who told me that Just Eats had delivered my order to the wrong address. Half an hour later a driver showed up with a small (and now stone cold) package, and said there was nothing he could do other than show me how to lodge a complaint through my phone, which I did. Six days later I received an email asking me to provide 'photographic evidence' that I had not received my order! No joke! And when I asked them to tell me what their refund policy was they replied that they 'cannot discuss Just Eats' internal policies'!?!
Placed an order through just eat for 9 items from Asda, only 6 were delivered. Just eat gave me a credit to my account instead of refunding to my original payment method without my permission. Under UK consumer law this is not allowed, they are legally obligated to refund to my original payment method. I have requested this many times now, including raising it on Facebook, but they are still telling me it's their policy. I won't be using them again, and would urge others to consider if they want to use a company that thinks it's above the law.
In my area which is Sleaford NG34, I received from some Just Eat represented fast-food establishments inedible, oil-saturated kebabs and grease-laden pizzas. Upon leaving the invited: 'Leave a Review' the factual (but polite) honesty of my experience has resulted in a ban of my internet server provider address. In other words, honest & transparent-feedback that should only ever assist an online F-F vendor in improving the quality of the food they deliver, is neither tolerated, nor welcome by Just Eat.
In my opinion, Just Eats' cancel-culture policy (unless you leave at least 2-stars) is in itself, a future recipe for financial disaster (for them) as it seriously undermines our right to have informed, consumer purchasing decisions at our disposal. After all, where would they be, without us?
A few days ago I ordered 2 pizzas from JUST EAT,the waiting time was 1h40 minutes,The pizzas came 10 minutes after time (1h50minutes),I checked the boxes it was only warm,wasn't hot at all,so I told driver to take this food becouse I want refund.Driver told me that I have to contact just eat.I was very hungry so I ordered food from dominos,my pizza came in 30 minutes and was Very very HOT.Why JUST EAT can't do same? Next day I contacted JUST EAT customer service,they offered me 50% refund on just eat account.this is joke how they treat customers.Next time I gonna buy something in supermarket or use domino or pizza hut but not just eat.
My dog got hit by a car tonight, idiot delivered to wrong address not for me, didn't even wait at door, left a package on door step, knocked proceeded to leave. As I opened door and tied to tell them it wasn't for me he got out and ran into road and got hit, tried to stop the car before it hit him but too fast, and spent the next few hours trying to find/catch him, as he ran off scared and injured. Eventually with the power of Facebook we found him and got him to a vet, trying to resolve as vet bills are in the thousands.
No show. No food and refused to action a complaint request fully stating it was my fault.
Uber eats if you want better service and the app works way better too
Ordered a KFC from JUST EAT, ok may not be a lot of money to you, but £15+ order is a lot for me, not all Just eats fault, they are part the blame.
Contacted KFC and was told i would have to take it up with Justeat and uber. Uber i couldn't find anything for them ( reviewing them next about same thing here).
So my last £15+ on a treat as i was getting paid in a few days, i was outside on my front, on my CCTV, when i thought my order was taking long. Looked on the app and order delivered, I'm stood on my front and still checked my CCTV to see if it had been delivered. Nothing.
So emailed justeat, 2 days after i got a reply, justeat was not going to pay me my money back as it was delivered by uber.
I USED TO USE them a lot justeat. I've removed app and saving a load of money and lost lots of weight (haha)
The company as now got a don't give $*&* attitude, take your hard earned money and don't deliver.
Given a delivery time of 30-50 mins it arrived after 1hr 20 mins because there were no drivers to collect my food, it was sat under a heat lamp and arrived congealed and dry. Refused a refund, I would order direct from a restaurant next time
SO you show the order time as -> 55mins and then the moment we pay you change it to 60 mins -> 90 mins you absolute scamming gits
Ordered a burger and fries from Five Guys but only received the burger. Complained to Just Eat and they eventually refunded me for the missing fries but didn't refund any of the service fee I paid, which was a percentage of the order total (including the fries). So I had my meal ruined but was only partially refunded and received no actual compensation. When I complained further, they insisted this was company policy. Wow.
I have ordered from them multiple time all the time they are missing either a side dish or a whole meal that i have paid for. Customer services ignore you!
Do no waste your money on this dishonest company!
Had a delivery driver take a 45 minute detour. The food was cold and thrown out. It was also incorrect. As well as that, upon contacting just eat to ask for a refund, out of the £24 that was spent, I received £10.49 in credit, and told they couldn't help anymore. I find it hard to believe a big company like Just Eat can't afford to fork out an extra £14, especially if it's just credit to use on their app that they would get back anyway! Absolutely awful service. I will be writing a review on every site I can find to make sure people are aware of just how bad the service is. It's happened way to many times in the past. 'Just Eat?' Should be 'Just Another Example Of Big Corporations Robbing Poor People'.
We are all to quick to review a provider but just eat is the service and provides inadequate drivers
So me and the wife decided to place a order on justeat and also treated ourselves to a bottle of red wine, after a period of time no delivery so look on app and see the order has been delivered, look outside my door nothing left I call the restaurant they tell me the order was sent,.I contact justeat they say wait 10 minutes, I wait 15 minutes still no delivery so I Email there customer support line explain what has happen, 2 hours later I get a reply sorry but your not entitled to a refund, I reply buy I haven't received my goods again they reply its there policy, so justeat have a policy to take money and not guarantee you what you pay for, I don't want to say its a criminal act but what is it.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY!
I recently ordered McDonald's through Just Eat. I spent £16 and I never recieved my order. I tried to contact Just Eat, which also proved difficult, and was told that I would not get my money back! I even stood at the door at the time it was due to arrive because it was late and I have dogs that like to bark. They said that the location of the driver showed that it was delivered to my house... it was not! So now I can only assume that the driver has drove past my house but kept my order! I am livid to say the least. Not only for not getting my order that I had paid for but also being made out to be a liar! Please do not use this company, better off with uber eats or deliveroo!
Awful company. Not only they refused a refund for missing items, they are also making fun of customers complaining to them. I was told after 3 back and forth emails that since I can't provide a photo they can't look further into it. Just to make myself clear: provide a photo of a missing item... They are the worst, I just deleted my account.
I had ordered my meal which it had been delivered wrongly, when I phoned up the restaurant they told me you will have to submit a refund request to just eat. Which I did they then denied my refund request entirely. So in total I had to pay twice to receive my meal. I tried to dispute their decision they overturn my dispute. Do not use Just Eat as you will be paying twice or not receiving your food if someone makes a mistake. AWFUL! Use Deliveroo!
Charged for food that never arrived but refused a refund! Whole order never came. Disgusted they think this is ok.

Answer: Don't use Just Eat. They don't give you credit when they tell you they have and steal your money.
Answer: Agree. They take your money and lie saying you didn't cancel your order within 5 mins so they've passed your money on to the restaurant even though they sent me an email confirming my order time and another email confirming the time it was cancelled 5 mins later but they said it was 10 mins later. The restaurant told me to cancel the order after a mix up and said they hadn't received my money from Just Eat. This after previously receiving a cheaper item in a seperate order when I paid for a more expensive item and they said they'd sent me a credit which I didn't receive. I will never ever use them again. I would rather starve myself to death!
