After being a customer of Jumpline (and it's predecessors) for 20 years, my recent experience led me to have to move to another provider who actually provides support. Two months ago my site simply disappeared when some automated process on the Jumpline side took the server down. After chasing Jumpline for the better part of 2 months with no response other than 'someone will get back to you' I finally got a response to say that the server issue meant they lost the site and all backups. I can empathize with technical issues, but the complete and total lack of ANY sort of response or status updates for almost 2 months was at best ridiculous. Do NOT use this service.
Well, Jumpline provides excellent services that websites can gain advantages from. I have been a subscriber since April, 2021 and I find this web host satisfactory. I was a Jumpline customer for almost 20 years until this week. When I joined in '04 they were amazing. I'd call with tech issues and the rep would immediately fix everything. Now for tech support you'll get a response during bankers hours M-F. Have a billing issue? Stacey will rudely shut you down. Rudest person I've ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and go with Bluehost. And SSL? They charge you $50 per site. Bluehost SSL is free. I've had negative experiences with hosts before Jumpline and have lost my SEO and customer base. When Jumpline goes under you'll experience that too. BTW, they're super slow, broke my WordPress site and just suck all around.
My expectations are always exceeded. Jumpline responses was very helpful during those days, responding and restored the damages very quickly from their seperate backups and constantly keeping me updated of the restoration progress before I ever get impatient.
It turns out that I've been hosting 3 web sites for about 7 months with Jumpline web host. I'm happy so far. Note: It will be also a good idea to contact their representative and ask for current specials and discounts they offer. Support is available 24/7 and you can contact them any time you need.
I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the excellent cooperation offered by Jumpline web host. He has been very patient and highly professional and suggested me all steps for the upgrade from my actual shared server to the Basic VPS account. I feel the most important thing in web hosting is the uptime; while everything else can have some impact on your online business, it's the downtime that hurts the most.
Why I stick with Jumpline mainly is because whenever I've had issues (my fault or otherwise) their support is fast and knowledgeable and can be relied upon to sort you out. They are generous with space, domains and bandwidth, and technically I've found it good.
They usually blame you or at least make you think you made something wrong. Ok, I can live with that.
If you have net business, be aware.
It has been almost 2 week that the server is not loading properly my website, I can't use server tools, I receive mail from time to time or hours late. Few mail accounts can't receive or send mail.
To make it worst their support is not answering. I send a complain daily but no answer for 2 weeks.
Their bills come right on time, at least some is working isn't it.
Want to change my service but I have no one to tall to.
If your business depend on your website, you will might have a heart attack.
I have been with jumpline since about 2000 - 2001 or so. They *USED TO BE* worry free, easy going, and helpful! Support people *USED TO* take ownership and drive problems to closure quickly. Then they moved their operation to a new location. At the new location they discovered a whole new level of support -- the learned HOW TO SUCK! No more live people, only email support, no one takes ownership, and you cannot get tech competent people who know how to solve problems -- no hope of getting something resolve in less than 48 hours -- often it might take weeks -- REALLY! I could go on and on -- but what's the point. If you don't care about your stuff, then this is the perfect fit for you, because nowadays neither to they! (or at least that is how they act)
The server is very stable. My personal experience proves that Jumpline provides quick and professional service! I have never experienced downtime. Recently my website was hacked due to my own negligence. They provided fast and professional service to help brainstorm a solution/cause for my problem and was patient with my lack of computer/technical knowledge.
I appreciate that Jumpline hosting - prices are very reasonable. Paid for 1 year as they gave discount - 50% off the price $5.14/mo - got a reasonable number of dedicated email boxes, databases and other services that you need for the average interactive website. Most folks will be satisfied with their basic linux package.
I am already for more then 4 months with Jumpline and have never had any problems. Few times I needed help in submission my site for search engines and always got needed help. All servers are stable and work pretty good.
Compared to other hosts I have worked with, they are above and beyond the value of other hosts, especially with their customer service. Jumpline has been nothing but superb. We've recommended them to some of our associates and they have ended up using them as well.

Highly recommend Jumpline cheap hosting services. My sites have a reasonable amount of traffic so was impressed that the huge storage and bandwidth as from what I can tell I'm not near having issues with it, again unlike my old host who kept telling me there was too much traffic to the site and I needed VPS, which was untrue.

I am impressed with jumpline shared hosting service. The features are the best part because you get Cpanel which is my favorite control panel compared to like exim or plesk which were the only options at my old host. Good web host.
Jumpline was great up and until 15 Sep 21 when the did a migration of servers. Since then, email issues abound! I would not recommend jumpline as a host under it's current support structure.
