I will be returning this necklace. Not only does it look nothing like the image online-it took weeks to arrive. Customer service kept me informed about the delay and reasons for it but nonetheless my daughters birthday gift was weeks late and now-is not even something i can give her. Not a great experience...
Nice item but I'm honestly still skeptical, as all tags were removed and Gucci does not officially list the company as a reseller. This made me feel as if it could be counterfeit or used, and customer service was not able to help - this information should be listed somewhere on the website at the very least.
Found out next day after placing online order that the product was not available and needed to be ordered. I was kind of disappointed because my sister could not get her birthday gift on time. However, they did their best to order it for me promptly, and I received the package in less than a week. My sister really liked her gift, so I was forgiven! Thank you JR Dunn! :)
The item I order was out of stock at the store so Steve Pryor called me to let me know that it would not be shipped in 48 hours as it stated on website and he would have to get it directly from Gucci. It took about 10 days but it was worth it when it did arrive. Beautiful piece of gold jewelry and even better was the 20% sale they had going on. I will definitely be a return customer.
I stop by maybe once a year to see if they have new items. When I went in I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I said "no, just browsing" but throughout the entire store, the salesman followed me. Now I wasn't beaming of wealth as I was merely wearing a jogging suit but DAMN did I feel uncomfortable with the guy literally following me across the entire store. I don't like to have someone following me. If I need help I'll ask. I left and probably won't go back. I would rather ASK for help WHEN I need it than be stalked.
As for the products, I will say, they don't have much for men. Men appreciate a nice ring... but they had only a few and the weren't anything special. We make the money and they expect us to spend it on women. Wrong mindset I think. And if you don't have it you cant sell it! They would tell you that men don't buy much... well if you don't have it... you can't sell it! And after you get a reputation for not having much for men, guess what? They don't look for you for potential products! And unless your ready to shell out $1k+ for a watch... there isn't anything there for you.
I was quickly informed by email that my order could not be filled right away and was treated very kindly by the person communicating with me. In the end, the product arrived a week earlier than I had been led to expect.
JR Dunn has a nice variety of products and offers a discount to first time buyers which is why I chose to purchase from them. I received a personal message to follow up with the shipping of my order. It was a nice touch since it could have easily been an automated message sharing the same information.
Ordered and received three items from John Hardy, all looked brand new except the "limited" edition bracelet. When I returned it, they claimed it had looked worn and would only give me store credit, however I received it in the condition it was returned. In fact, I called the day I received my order to find out how to return the already worn looking item. After several emails and calls they agreed to refund my money on the bracelet, it has been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for the refund to my credit card.
I placed an order hoping to get it in time fort girlfriends birthday, and was contacted days later to be told it was out of stock and offered a product that cost nearly twice as much. When I refused this, the original gift I asked for was delivered the day after I needed it, after ordering nearly two weeks in advance.

To refund my cc. Which is part of their refund policy. Stay away.
Ordered online and paid for next day delivery. Then I called after one day when I didnt see an shipment notification. Was then told item was not in stock. After 3 more additional days of back and forth with customer support. Ring was sent out without next day shipping. It arrived late and ruined my engagement plans. I had to call to even get the next day shipping refunded. No offers from anyone to make it right.
I don't understand the points program. It seems that your earned reward dollars should be usable toward any purchase as they were earned from previous purchases. When I placed my order it would not let me use my rewards together and also would not let me use them in conjunction with a promo code. If they are truly rewards, then you should be able to use them like a payment method and not a promotion.
Email support was poor. Person (Cheryl) indicates that all was well and did not explain that there was a difficulty with the billing address which could have been rectified on the spot. Very poor service and eagerness to help. I might come back for the product but not the service.
Earrings seemed to be made from pressed pieces of thin sheet gold. Very disappointed in the flimsy quality. My previous MB purchase was beautiful, but, I did notice a change in the weight of the gold used. I hope that my favorite designer is not cheapening his brand. JRDunn has excellent customer service and I completely trust the company. Will do business again soon!
I ordered two necklaces, one of which was shipped quickly within 2 days, and one which was out of stock. I promptly received an email letting me know that one was out of stock with timing for when it would be shipped. Excellent communication. The necklaces arrived securely and in perfect packaging. I'll look to J.R. Dunn for future jewelry needs!
