J&P Cycle has an extremely poor customer service! I'm still waiting for my backrest order even though is been two weeks and four days since my placing my order. I've spoken to atleast four different representatives and I'm still waiting. Now, J&P Cycle stopped to responding to my e-mails. VERY DISATISFIED CUSTOMER! I WILL NEVER PLACE ANOTHER ORDER WITH J&P CYCLE!
I answered an open box and for a Mustang wide tripper solo seat and passenger seat. They only sent the passenger one which wasn't even pictured. Waited for a hour on hold twice. And was told I was wrong. Morons on their best day.
First time customer, as I am new to motorcycles. Placed an order on Saturday, order came ups on Wed. Opened the box, one of the items box was all smashed, but the shipping box was ok so they purposely packed a smashed up box. Luckily the items inside were not damaged. The items I got were correct. After seeing other reviews guess I was lucky to get what I ordered so quickly. Pretty leary of this company now, based on how my items box came smashed and other terrible reviews. Think I'll shop elsewhere.
The person at j&p in Sturgis was very helpful. She took the time to make sure it was the correct part.
They have yet to disappoint me. Always what they advertise and always quality.
Changed the site format lost information
Had to wait on hold to have my RPM statice
Reinstated waiting for five weeks for an item
That was not on back order but apparently was. Too many mistakes
Unreal in to days market where companies are shipping with in 2 days that JP Cycles takes 10 days to just prosses the order never again will i buy from them
This company often advertises sale items that are not in stock, and haven't been in stock for weeks. Additionally, they will not allow you to order items that are not in stock so you can get the sale price when the item becomes available. Lastly, they do not offer rain checks on sale prices for items not in stock. Nobody in customer service can explain why they would list an item as being on sale when you can't even order it, or get a rain check. I have shopped J&P Cycles for the last time…
Very misleading practices. Listing items that 'ship' in 2-4 days but if you're lucky they MIGHT ship in a month, if at all, they just want your money. These guys USED to be great until the actual JP died, now they're just another awful place and thats sad.
I had a bad accident and had to order parts. I thought it would take forever. I literally got it the next day and it was exactly as advertised. The packaging was great and the parcel updates were even better. Thank you, I look forward to doing future business with you guys!
Lied to by the store manager. Customer service is a joke. Have spend over $******* over the years - TOTALLY DONE WITH THIS BULL$#*!! Save yourself the headache and AVOID THEM! They don't even earn one star.
BEWARE! I thought I was doing business with a reputable business but I was totally wrong. Me and a bud decided it would be great to buy new helmets with Intercoms so we could communicate on the 5,000 mile trip we are starting 26 Sep so we started shopping. Unfortunately we found what we were looking for at J&P Cycle. After spending $800 plus dollars our order arrived 2 days later but the one helmet was missing everything Intercom related. Again I believed I was dealing with a respectable company so I called thinking it would be an easy fix. I called customer service (FYI J&P this means servicing the customer) I spoke to a service person who was killing me with kindness but at the end of the day it was all Lip Service! After a million "I'm sorry's" and all the "Wish I could's" he said there was nothing he could do and that my only option was to send everything back and then he could ship me another helmet. I suggested he send me just the missing items at which time he completely disregarded my suggestion and insisted there was nothing he could do. Again this was Thursday and we are leaving Monday and all he would say was I'm sorry. Im a business owner who MUST deal with issues that are ultimately my issue and believe me I would have overnighted the missing pieces I don't care what it would take. After reading all the reviews I can see I'm not the only one who didn't have a good experience. I wish I had read them before I made the purchase. Never again J&P! You've seen the last hard earned dollar" you will ever see from me!
I ordered a LED tail light for my Road Glide. Almost a month to get to Canada. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong light. After trying to return they stated that it was not damaged so they can not take it back. On their web site it says you can return for any reason. Not a very good policy. JP Cycle used to be better than that. If I would have known that I would have bought from Amazon for $4.00 more.
UPDATE: J&P Cycles contacted me after the review (see below), and has since done right by me for this transaction. Thank you.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I ordered a set of tires from J&P Cycles. Tires cost USD405.98 and I paid in full with UPS international shipping. When they arrived, UPS said that J&P Cycles had declared the value of the tires to be USD752.23 instead - that is almost twice the real value. I therefore had to pay needless extra taxes on them. UPS indicated that they would review and refund if J&P Cycles indicated that they had made a mistake on the value.
When I contacted J&P Cycles and patiently explained the situation and requested that they correct the value with UPS, one Jessica M. Replied and did not even take responsibility for the error, and provided some jibberish answer which avoided the issue entirely. No offer of assistance whatsoever was made to correct the value with UPS. On the possibility that she did not understand the issue, I tried explaining the situation again, pointing out again the correct invoice value, and the value which UPS said J&P had declared them to be - the latter figure being clearly arbitrary, wrong and false, and requested for their assistance to correct the figure with UPS. One Paige F. Replied and again did not answer the issue, take responsibility for the error, nor offer any assistance to contact UPS to correct the value. The response from Paige F. Was curt.
The problem could have been easily solved if they just contacted UPS to indicate that they had made a mistake. They simply refused. I was therefore left in the lurch by this seller - J&P Cycles - and their two customer service officers, Jessica M and Paige F who provided no customer service at all. Regret ordering from them.
I don't know how or why all these negative reviews show up.
I placed an order for crash bars for an older bike and it was received within 3 business days in prefect condition and fit right up.
I've ordered from J&P twice. Both times they shipped me the wrong part. The first time I ordered a sissy bar and was sent an exhaust system. The second time I ordered highway bars and was sent a seat. Customer service was no help and each rep told me something different. Waited an extra week each time to receive the correct part and had to drive over 30 minutes to return the wrong items they shipped.
Do not buy nothing from these people. I ordered a gasket and they did not mark on package do not bend in their warehouse so it was broken. Contacted J&P and no help so ordered another one. But because i $#*!ed about the first one and the lady said she was going to chew the warehouse out for not marking the first one they sent it to Windsor Ct instead of Windsor Me cuz thats where UPS said it went. Contacted J&P they lied and gave me a bunch of bull $#*! and said i ordered it on a holiday weekend but i ordered a shifter on same day and got that 3 days later. But J&P said gasket came from different warehouse so more excuses. Where was that warehouse Mars.
Ordered a relocation bracket for rear turn signal last week... still waiting. Finally decided to call and was told my order had been put on back log and I'll have to wait another 2-4 weeks... would have been nice to have been told prior to purchasing the item. Or at the least a courtesy EMail. Horrible service, never doing buisness with them ever again and definitely will spread the word in the MC world in this neck of the world..
Placed an order and after just a few hours realized I should have ordered a different size. Reached out to them and was told it's too late. Item has not shipped but it's too late? I know the order mistake was mine, but after just a few hours you can't help a customer out? Plenty of other vendors have and will help their customers out so there is really no reason to shop here. They told me I would have to wait to receive the item, return it, and order a new one. All this for a $20 product? I think they know most customers aren't going to return a $20 item, or maybe they simply don't care.
Used to be the go to company but ever since John (JP) passed it's just another corporate owned s--t show complete with the lies regarding shipping, "in stock products" take 8-10 days to ship, awful support and inability to cancel orders AFTER they tell you it's 8-10 days when you trusted the "in stock" 2 day shipping lie. All they want is the $ now.
Answer: Thats always the case with them! They dont tell you its out of stock unt after you place the order and find out yourself
Answer: We are having trouble understanding your question. How may we help you?
Answer: DONT ORDER FROM J&P CYCLE THEY DONT DESERVE OUR BUSINESS. Try Dennise Kirk they generally have it in stock and ships the same day. They sell everything.
Answer: They will tell you call ups... won't take any responsibility for it! U wonder why they don't show your order history confirmation.
Answer: Rick, it definitely depends on the exhaust manufacturer. On our website, we do have some videos or sound clips under the product description. Otherwise, we would refer you to the manufacturer's website for sound clips. Thank you for choosing J&P Cycles and have a great day on 2 wheels.
Answer: Rob, I apologize you have not received an answer here. I would like to make sure you have been taken care of. Please email me at socialmedia@jpcycles.com attn. Sitejabber and include your order and or customer number and I would be glad to help. Thank you for choosing J&P Cycles and have a great day on 2 wheels.
Answer: Robert, I apologize for the delay in responding. Can you provide the order number? I would like to check and see what happened. As far as fitment, it is given to us my the manufacturer.
Answer: Hello Sebastiano, Currently we do not have that sissy bar in stock, we would have to order it in from our distributor. The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
Answer: Hello Bill, The return address is as follows... 501 Industry Rd. Suite 400, Louisville KY 40208. You will just want to make sure that your RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) is clearly written on the box if you could please. This will help expedite the process once it reaches out warehouse. Thank you for your inquiry, -Kirk- Social Media Support Supervisor
