My friend and I went to Reno Motorcycle show and Jpcycles stuff told us" get the hell out of the way" to us when we were taking some photos. There was no sign we were not supposed to take photos over there.
Got a recommendation from the online tech for a turn signal kit for one of my customers bike.the kit came with only half of the mounting hardware and no instructions with no part list "shady" then when i called the customer service tech that had no knowledge of a motorcycle he actually recommend for me to take it to a tech. Lol. When all i needed was the hardware.so when i ask about returning them he said they cant accept return on them because i open the box they came in. What a joke
I bought an air breather kit while on a Florida trip. Sale went well. Then I found that it had to be returned two days later. It was not touched. You should have seen the attitude I got with that return. It was enough to keep me from shopping there. Bye Bye. JP..
Ordered several items with no issue. Ordered 2 tires that had a $50.00 debate. Got tires with no invoice. Cant submit rebate paperwork without invoice. First person (chip) total $#*! $#*!ed I didn't have a correct email address. Funny I got email saying order was received two more calls and email. Never got an invoice.
Ordered a pair of boots two days later the zipper on the side split. I was told that I would have to talk to the manufacturer, it wasn't their issue. From what I am reading if your item is right there is no problem, but since you cant inspect your order before shipment, AND CANT RETURN IT Its a roll of the dice. This is the type of return policy that made me decide that anyone I can warn and myself will never order from them! Wish I could give 1/2 or 1/4 star instead of a full one star. They dont deserve that!
Ordered a throttle assist for my Suzuki. Received parts that are for a Yamaha. Waste of my time and money to return. I clearly ordered a different part number. Won't waste my time trying again. Should of ordered directly from Kurayakan in the first place.
I ordered a primary cover on recommendation of their tech. It came with no starter bushing. I called back to ask my this wasn't included and why this isn't mentioned on the website. I also paid for second day air, btw. I was told "I don't know why it wasn't included either but here is the part number... order it if you want to buy it". They didn't even say sorry or match the shipping I paid for. I'm a motorcycle shop and they've just gotten the last dime from me ever!
Their return policy is non existent. Even their manager Dennis Sweet stated it doesn't make sense. Do not purchase from JP if you need to return anything. Terrible business. With their customer service they should try through cable TV business. Shame on JP.
Bought an advertised OEM Harley windshield from J&P after being assured by their "Tech Services" department that it was Original Equipment. Got the windshield, measured it and determined it was 3" shorter than the original windshield. Called J&P and was told that windshield was returnable as long as it hadn't been installed. Spent the $53.00 it cost to send it back, only to then be told that the chrome strip on the windshield was "rubbed" and the windshield itself had a scratch in it... Likely from all the shipping back and forth, so item was NOT returnable. It appeared back on my porch 1 week later, so now I'm out 231 +53= $284.00 for a windshield that is useless to me.
Don't worry J&P, you'll never get another dime of my hard earned money for any of your "stuff", and as for your 100% Customer Service/satisfaction-it's a flat out lie,
Purchased a defective klock works windshield from JP cycle. The windshield had a rainbow
Effect throughout the entire windshield and spotted up when washed with soap and water.
Had it on the bike for 2 hrs. The windshield was obviously defective. When I sent it back they
Refused the return, indicating it had evidence of damage or wear. The only damage was from
The defective windshield. JP cycle would come up with any excuse not to return a product.
Website showed my bike, parts that fit it, and green also indicating proper fit.
Part did not fit.
They said I have to pay shipping and insurance to return to them.
After several phone calls they agreed to pay "this one time" as if it was my fault.
I emailed a print screen showing how their website was wrong.
Once the item was returned, they did not pay back the shipping of $31 and additionally charged $8 restocking fee.
No one will return my emails, and I am not calling a 5th time as they make me so angry trying to make me feel like the bad guy for trusting their website.
Horrible experience
Update: They refunded the shipping. Just left the restocking fee.
Alot of work in phone calls, emails, and trying to correct their mistake.
Still will never recommend them or utilize their services. And I'm out the $$$ for restocking.
I have been ordering Harley Davidson parts from these guys for about 6 months now. Never received anything but the correct parts and Fast Delivery... i have read some other reviews. My only complaint is its hard to find Discount codes for these guys... I am very Happy with these guys
Horrible experience, lied to, horrible customer service and will not stand behind their products. Will purchase all other items from anywhere else. Never again will I place an order with j&p cycles.
Truly a bad experience. After getting a recommendation on a baffle from their online consultant, baffle ended up not doing anything. Top things off... they won't accept a return because I had to put it in to test. Customer service was never apologetic or sympathetic. Just made excuses.
Fantastic customer service and shipping speed. First time ordering and they lived up to the good reviews. Can't speak for anyone else's experience good or bad, but mine was very very good. I gave the wrong address for my cc and was contacted quickly, but I thought it would delay the delivery & I was disappointed, but to my delight the package arrived far quicker than I had originally expected.
I'm very happy with the packaging and accuracy of the order.
Online customer service chat was convenient, knowledgeable and easy as well, with a follow-up email of the conversation.
First class operation!
Ordered a mini speedometer for my Sportster. Was told it would fit, even ordered the adapter to be on the safe side. Received the parts, didn't fit. They screwed up and I was charged the return shipping plus a 10% restocking fee.
This place has a lot of hard to find items. Be a little cautious of the cheap import items, cause they will bite you in the butt. All in all a great place for antique items if you don't have local hard to find part shops. I shop here on a regular for my Harley! Helpful staff as well.
I shop J&P cycles mostly for yamaha tires when they go on discount. When I found out about this site I stopped buying retail as the markup is more than what J&P has on their tires. I burn through a set every 2 months so this is the most expensive part of cycling for me.
I have ordered motorcycle parts and accessories from jpcycles.com for several years. The website is exceptionally user friendly. A search can be limited by make, model and year of a motorcycle to help avoid order a wrong part. In addition, there is an online technician available by chat to further confirm a part to particular motorcycle. There are shipping discounts available for large orders. My orders are always correct and the merchandise is always of quality. I have never had to make return due to order error or defect of an item. Pricing is very competitive. On average, I save 20-40% when compared to buying from local retailers. Shipments are well packaged and arrive within 5-7 days of making the order.
Answer: Thats always the case with them! They dont tell you its out of stock unt after you place the order and find out yourself
Answer: We are having trouble understanding your question. How may we help you?
Answer: DONT ORDER FROM J&P CYCLE THEY DONT DESERVE OUR BUSINESS. Try Dennise Kirk they generally have it in stock and ships the same day. They sell everything.
Answer: They will tell you call ups... won't take any responsibility for it! U wonder why they don't show your order history confirmation.
Answer: Rick, it definitely depends on the exhaust manufacturer. On our website, we do have some videos or sound clips under the product description. Otherwise, we would refer you to the manufacturer's website for sound clips. Thank you for choosing J&P Cycles and have a great day on 2 wheels.

Answer: Hello Sebastiano, Currently we do not have that sissy bar in stock, we would have to order it in from our distributor. The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
