Needed part, H.D. Dealer in Palm Beach, Fl. Doesn't want to work on bikes older than 2010. I have a 2008 Electra Glide Classic with 12.000 miles that looks like new. I guess I'll be working on my own bike again from now on!
Randy and Micah were a great help w/ my questions. Parts were right for the bike & the budget. The order was shipped from two locations and the first half arrived in a timely fashion on my neighbor's porch. J&P's e-mail alerted me to go find it. The second half's tracking said to expect it by the end of a Friday. (didn't happen) Then by the end of Saturday. (still didn't) Sunday they hung a sticker on the door. Monday came and went. Tuesday they finally made it late in the day. I'm fairly chill but some customers can be excitable. Can't say I blame them. Full five stars for J&P, but knocked one off because FedEx.
Fast! Verified that this item fit my bike. The metal gaskets were first shipped in plastic bag and showed up bent 45 degrees. Contacted J&P they sent me another set shipped in a box. Arrived fast and no damage. Thank you.
Parts finally arrived in a timely fashion. That's a first for this company. Normally, I'm waiting like 4 to 5 weeks. They had a review for me to take. But it was so many questions that I just gave up halfway through. Once I hit question number 27, it was only halfway done. Yeah, I'm good. I will purchase parts here again though.

Found the parts I wanted easily, checkout was a breeze. Parts arrived very quickly, and were in perfect condition. Fit was perfect, and I had my breather swapped out in 30 min. Looks fantastic, and I really love having a couple more inches of clearance between my knee and breather, especially when I'm rear braking. Maybe it's in my head, but I think my bike sounds better and has a faster throttle response.
I'm new to the site but found it difficult to navigate. A more controlled nav setup would have made it easier to find what I was looking for. I also want to say that I've already used J&P for other parts.
I ordered a flat red lens cover for signal and specifically ordered 3". I received 3 1/4" which I find everywhere. I put in their notes to be sure they sent 3". Didn't happen. When I read the return directions j & p would refund the 2.49 cost of the piece but not the 8.99 it cost me in shipping—bout 3x the amount of the piece ordered. I let them know all this once again and still have not been refunded nor contacted about sending the correct size. Still waiting to hear from them after 2 weeks. Not happy
I researched the part, and found it confirmed with J&P's fitment, ordered, and installed within hours of receipt! Its been the usual experience with J&P. Quality at reasonable costs, with great documentation and assistance if needed (but rarely needed due to great installation instructions).
Like the title says, good products and great prices but terrible shipping. I ordered two sets of tires, two tubes, and a set of hand grips. They all had different shippers…. The tubes and tires came by Fed Ex and UPS…received them in a very timely manner. However the grips were shipped by the aweful United States Postal Service and made it to Dallas, Tx…. Then mysteriously ended up in Seattle, Washington…. This isn't the first time USPS has lost, delayed or down right failed to deliver a package to me. I wish companies would stop using them until they can get their act together, that is the reason for a 3 star review instead of a 5.
Easy to order online, however, the battery box did not fit my model of bike. The web site said it would fit a 83 Harley FLHS. It is clearly too big, so Im returning it in the same box I received. These things happen, no worries.
I usually don't do online shopping but I found this experience quite easy. Of course. Call JP cycle the next morning to make sure. I had checked and clicked all the right boxes on my order. And fortunately I did but I do appreciate them checking.

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
