And although I had read reviews saying that the particular helmet I bought ran small. It was an understatement. Their sizing chart says I wear a medium. I ordered a large. And it is tight.

Everything I've ever purchased from J&P has been great with the exception of the FP4. I have purchased 3 FP3's for my other bikes in the past and they were simple and performed flawlessly. I immediately had issues with the FP4 starting with not being seen by my iPhone. I spent most of the day on the phone with Vance And Hines support troubleshooting to no avail. I ended up deleting the app and re installing it which enabled the FP4 to be seen. Tried to download the map but got an error message saying not enough voltage from my battery to install it and the battery is on the newer side. Also their is no map for my Cobra El Diablo 2 into 1 pipe and I was told by V&H support to use the V&H 2 into 1 pipe for the download. The FP4 seems to be fine if you are using all V&H parts. At this point I have spent $400 for something I can't use. In hindsight I wished I had just spent the money on a Dyno tuning as I probably would have gotten a better performing map tailored to my setup. Now I'm saving for a new battery that I don't need to try and download a map that's not designed for my pipe. Not happy!

The current lead time is listed at about 8-10 business days to receive the item. As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
