Ordered a class dog tag from Jostens. The first time around, they forget to put the charms on my dog tag. And when we asked them to put the charms back on, the fleur de lis charm fell off of my dog tag not once, but twice! Highly recommend NOT ordering from them as they will forget things you want on your class items or will give you low quality goods.
Company is a joke. I ordered my cap and gown for my college graduation. The package arrived a week after graduation date despite the fact all the time I spent reaching out to them and speaking with several reps about the delay. A supposed manager offered me a refund and an overnight shipment which was also a lie. Terrible service.
Buyer beware. We ordered graduation announcements in mid March from Jostens. And they were delivered May 12th. Even the high school was surprised at their late arrival. When we contacted Jostens about the 2 month delay in arrival, we were told announcements are intended to be sent up to 6 weeks AFTER graduation so a congratulatory note can be sent to the student, not beforehand to notify family and friends of the upcoming event to make plans to attend. So according to their customer service, taking 2 months to send a $200 order that arrives 2 weeks before graduation is perfectly acceptable.
I ordered a custom (with my initials) doctoral robe for my graduation and it never arrived. I called the day before to check to see if maybe it was delivered to my university, but apparently it had not even been started! I ordered before the deadline, and Jostens was aware of my graduation date, There was no communication during the process and checking the status of the order was nigh impossible. Thankfully, I can borrow a robe from someone but as a person who wanted to have her own robes going forward, this is a major disappointment! I will be filing a complaint with UGA to see if they might consider working with another company.
Josten's LOST my son's Letterman'sโฆ
Josten's LOST my son's Letterman's Jacket! Over 500 dollars and I can't even get the local representative to explain what happened to my son's jacket! It was in her possession. On April 11, and she called saying it was in. We said we would go pick it up and I paid the balance over the phone with a credit card! Never even set eyes on this jacket. She said it has to go to the school for a PO? Whatever that meant and now the jacket is unable to be found! She won't answer the phone and no one in the school knows anything about the jacket! It's ruined my son's senior year. All because this woman was so incompetent to not just allow us to pick up the jacket. I'm beyond angry! I have spent thousands with this company and I am going to do all I can to make sure everyone knows what we've experienced and how disgracefully we've been treated in all of this! I feel like his jacket is in the trunk of a car or just hanging somewhere and this woman who demanded that this jacket not be given to us, the owners of the jacket but to go to the school first, now has no answers! I am astonished a company could do business this way. Graduation is less than a month away and now I'm going to have to pay for an attorney and sue Josten's for mental anguish and my son's whole senior experience being ruined.
If i could give Jostens a zero star rating, i would. They overcharge ridiculously. The material of the cap and gown and tassel feels cheap and not worth the price. I don't why my school partnered up with josten when all the reviews are horrible. Maybe my school is also trying to scam me.
The announcements don't even have the right information like the address. They may have the date and time and the location of the building, but no they gave us double everything which we didn't order and then they missed things that needed to be in the order. It's been a complete $#*!show. Since they don't give you most of the stuff literally a month before graduation you can't fix anything properly.
They don't reimburse for things they say they will reimburse for and you pay extra money for services that they say they provide for but never do. I wish schools would give options on who to go through for graduation services but it seems like it's a scam if you can go through a different service I highly recommend doing so but unfortunately this is a total monopoly
I have been trying to place my daughters senior ad since November. They claim they have fixed the issues but haven't actually done so. They revert me back to the school and say they are to handle everything but the school says its vice versa. I was told to create my ad on a 3rd party app at which they "assured me" was simple fast and convenient. 4 hours later none of it is working properly after getting the ad created. They said they couldnt offer a discount, but that the school could since the school is who " created the prices "so for $350.00 I get to create it all and try to become an IT guru, have 0 help from them and still months later do not have an ad placed for my daughter. The prices are outrageous and the convenience is def not there. I do not recommend this company at all.
You can't trick me jostens ๐ you threw all your tricks ๐คซ but we could see right through them tricky ๐ก tricky ๐ก try your jests on some more unsuspecting victims ๐ฎโ๐จ we know our worth ๐ฐ
Prices keep getting worse and parents are spending 50% more than necessary for year books and photos. Why on earth would anyone give their money to a company who only sets prices high because they know its important for students to have these memories and parents are buying them. They are playing the greed card and we will never support Jostens or our public school for being 100% about money and not the students. There are many students who cannot afford outrageous prices for things all kids should be able to purchase. 100 dollars for a year book is insane. These people could care less that many students will not receive one because of their greed. A decent year book can be 40 / 45 at the most and they will still make very well on these sales. This is pure insane and unprofessional business.
I very disappointed, my parents got my class ring in 1997, I remember lifetime gradted, I couldn't get my class ring at all, I had to pay, my class ring got stealing.
Today I received my Yearbook, which was delivered to the school 2+ weeks behind schedule. This is inexcusable lateness considering that even if Jostens had needed to reprint and bind the entire order of Yearbooks, they would have likely arrived quicker.
Upon examining my 2-week-late Yearbook, I found a series of mistakes which the Yearbook company I was previously with never made.
Stock images were used on the cover page, still visibly reading the word "stock", showing that Jostens did not bother to purchase the image.
The name on my personalized Yearbook was not centered to any extent in the corner of the cover or by other means of alignment.
Bindery was performed incorrectly and as a result of such, the spine's lettering was not centered.
The Year In Review pages were printed at a low resolution, instead of reprinting the last signature, Jostens decided to add additional pages, making the Year In Review a double print in the final copy. It goes to show how little Josten's cares.
After viewing first hand how catastrophically horrendous the products of this company are, I would never recommend this company to anyone whatsoever.
My parents give me a class ring, that parents my paid for. Lifetime warranty and someone steal my class ring. I called customer service to have my class ring back. And the lady told that I had pay for my class ring. I told her no and life time warranty. Very disappointed. Why would they lied.
My son graduated in 2023 and i spent well over a thousand dollars on a big bundle of class of 2023 and the announcments and cap and gown and high school ring...all the clothes shrunk and didnt fit after the first wash, sent them back and never heard from the company again,,,even after emailing a few times and getting a message that say undeliverable.so money just wasted.package was around $500 then i also spent way over 500 for his ring with this company.so disappointed that this company is so disreputable for children that have reached this milestone in their lives..
Ordered a ring in January, paid in full. My son's graduation is in two weeks. I went to check the status and it's not expected to ship until June. I regret ever using this company. My son will be clear across the country in June. I'll be using someone else for my daughter. A total waste of over $500.
Their photos sucked I paid a deposit at the school when she had to take the photos that I never got returned to me. Then when the photos are ready to be viewed and ordered they charge $65 for 1 8x10 photo that they didn't do a good job onโฆ then 95% of the order that I paid for went to the school even though I paid them on top of that it's 2 weeks before my daughter graduates and the announcements I paid a fortune for still hasn't been delivered I called the company and their like I'm sorry it should be next week but I'm not sure what day they will show up and we will call you back so you can take the time out of your work day to pick them up at the school because we deliver the $#*! you paid for to them not the person that took her whole payday to pay
Our school supplied both parents as contacts for our son. They sent me multiple emails that my son didn't order a yearbook, after asking my wife, she provided me with the order info. I emailed them multiple times to explain if this was a mistake or a way to make additional profits on unsuspecting parents, no response! Crooked company that I'm trying to get our school away from. Don't fall for their greedy deception. Shameful
The site itself was down for weeks, so i couldn't even order anything. Only bought the cap and gown package and it was at least $80 AND THAT WAS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE ONE. Got the cap and gown and it's made with the CHEAPEST material ever, almost broke the zipper trying it on. Save your money and buy it on Amazon. (ps: u cant really tell from the picture, but the cap is literally just the same fabric for the cap with cardboard underneath it. $80 FOR $#*!TY CARDBOARD AND FABRIC.)
I ordered my daughter's Graduation package which included the Announcements, I received them Friday and they are horrible quality! Literally printed on computer paper, folded sloppy and the print is crooked! Customer Service for Announcements are closed Friday-Sunday, open M-Thursday 11-4 and was on phone for an hour trying to speak to someone and kept getting voicemail! So I emailed to complain! Had I known I could've made my daughter her Graduation Announcements, but I figured oh they'll be nice ordering from here! Wish I had read reviews before hand!
