3/4" Banded Feeders

Received another shipment of 500ct 3/4" Banded Crickets with ZERO dead crickets on arrival. Awesome place to get your banded crickets! Odor was pretty much non existent, unlike crickets from the local pet store.

Received sick frog

I bought a dumpy tree frog from them and the frog arrived and was moving kinda slow but just figured he needed to adjust to his environment, turns out the frog had chytrid fungus and died a few days later, customer service was no help what so ever told me I should have called an hour within getting him

I had bought 3 dart frogs from a merchant here. I couldn't find pinhead crickets everyone was out for a couple days. So I went on their site and saw pinhead crickets with a hefty 24 hr delivery. I paid it since i had close to $300 in frogs to feed. It took almost 2 weeks to get the crickets shipped and at my door. Then they were smaller than an ant. Numerous emails back and forth. One of them they asked if I wanted a full refund which I did but they still sent them. In the meantime 1 frog died ($70). Only good thing is they did refund the $29 over night fee they originally charged 2 weeks later. Sadly I wont be ordering anything from them... looked like a really good online alternative I was looking forward to using. Personally I've been in customer service for almost 20 years and I would be embarrassed to have my place of business ran this way.

Never again

I've ordered from Josh's frogs two times now the last time I ordered I was setting up my tank everything came throughout the course of a week and I paid for expedited shipping no one told me it would show up throughout the course of 3 days this time I placed an order on Friday at 2:00 I paid $26 for overnight shipping my package did not come yesterday it's not coming today and they told me that it should be here early next week this company is absolutely terrible with shipping but love to charge you a hell of a lot of money to pay for shipping never again will I do business with them

Ships dead frogs

I revived a dead frog then a replacement dead frog was sent. Company obviously can't ship animals correctly. I'm scared to think of how many frogs actually die through their shipping process.

Do not purchase from here

All these folks care about is money, I ordered a 50 count of waxworms and there was at most 20 in there... they scam you where ever possible even with crickets... I ordered 3/4 inch crickets and most of them were smaller than 1/2. When I tried to contact them for help they just refuse and will not help you.

I've ordered from Josh's frogs many times and I've been extremely satisfied everytime. Not only do they take care in packaging your animal but also send care guide's and proper labeling. They're prices are amazing and their customer service is top notch. Literally I'm surprised to see any bad reviews for them!

This the text of my 18th email in my back and forth with the company after receiving 5 springtail cultures that had a grand total of 24 springtails in them.

"My point would be that I would have the same number of springtails right now if I had just purchased a single $7.99 'unit 'of springtails, instead I purchased $49.95 of springtails and received $7.99 worth of springtails. If you can't provide a product as described then don't sell it. You should also make note (maybe restate?) when you provide the 'refund, reorder, store credit' option that S&H is not included in the refund amount (regardless if it's posted on your website). As far as I'm concerned, I spent $82 on something and I did not receive the something I paid $82 for. I now have to go find a reputable supplier of springtails and spend even more money. I'm not sure what it is that is wrong in your production/ product quality, but you as a company need to research and determine the cause/issue and then make sure it doesn't happen again."

I would not buy anything alive from them. They do not refund shipping and treat the customer like a guilty party. I provided pictures and video of the springtail cultures over the course of a week and a half.

I Ordered Some Hornworms For My Bearded Dragon In Which I Opted For *Next Day Delivery* To Ensure They Were Alive On Arrival. My Order Still Hasn't Been Fulfilled And I Reached Out By Phone To Them To No Avail. They Haven t Responded To My Message Nor Shipped My Item Which Im Sure Its Gonna Be A Hassle To Be Refunded For The Price I Paid For A Next Day Delivery That Never Came...

Shady policies

Joshs frogs has a no live animal guarantee if temperatures are above 85 degrees at any point in the delivery. This is absolutely $#*! as to put this on the customer. I can with a doubt promise you that as a customer i don't know the roudhddhde accuracy of the temperature, the internal temperature of the delivery truck, and so on. They also told me that it gets over 85 degrees at their location so, why would they even ship if they know that it is too hot to begin shipping. This company is more about the money than the customer. No empathy... just refer to the policy.

My order of 1/2 inch crickets were barely larger than pinheads. My son worked hours on creating a habitat for crickets only to be devastated when immediately upon delivery emptying the ant infested box of crickets into the new habitat thereby infesting said new habitat with ants. "Customer Service" will not correct the problem without my sending pictures (because I'm lying?) despite my already informing them that I am out of town and not able to do so. 1st and last order. Also the other items ordered have not even shipped yet.

Bought dry goods, a fruit fly culture and springtails. Happy overall with everything but the fruit fly culture. About 2 weeks after I got it I noticed it had mites. I've raised fruit flies for my dart frogs for a few years now and I've never had mites even if the culture was a month old (I raise hydei). I've read on boards they typically have mites in the ff cultures/media so maybe avoid live stuff and stick with dry goods.
