I have been purchasing from Joes AV for over 10 years and have never had a problem. When I read the reviews on this site it's like 40% of the reviews are for a different vendor. Joes AV is a first class place in every respect. They have always been professional and honest with me. Plus I would never purchase a TV online from any other place than Joes AV. If I was pressed to convey anything negative, it would be about their religious holidays - which I think to be excessive. One last thing - No one asked me to write this, or any other review.

You odder something and some time later they call you to ask you for more money using all kind of strategies, examples: this is not same model, this is a Chinese version, you live out of area, etc, etc.
Then if you agree with everything, must of the time the send you something that probably you don't like.

Just like all of the reviews say, the next day after I ordered I got a call from a rude sales person stating I had bought the model made in Asia and I needed to upgrade to the model made in Mexico for $400. I declined and have yet to receive any product. I called back only to have another rude person ask who is this, why do you want to speak to someone. If you don't upgrade you don't get your product. Typical bait and switch tactics. STAY AWAY

George from Joe's AV called me and dropped the price of the TV I ordered and hopefully will keep his word on the credit he offered. I guess he really did not have to do that but it is appreciated and demonstrates that they are at least trying to be customer oriented. I am somewhat reluctant to post this good of a review not yet having received the TV or seeing the credit but, I promised I would update the review based on the phone call from George.

Ordered a Samsung 8500 4K TV advertised on their website. Within a few hours of the call Jeffrey called me to tell me that the TV I ordered was a cheaper version and I really wanted the Samsung 10 bit screen that is being manufactured in Mexico and it was only a little more than the model I ordered. It turns out it was more than $400 more, they wanted to charge me for shipping insurance ($57.42) and that I really needed the White Glove service and they would give me a special price of only $99. They did charge me the $57.42 but I refused to pay for it and they have promised to credit the charge. But the biggest scam is that the TV they are charging me for is $250 cheaper at every online honest website and it is even $250 cheaper at Best Buy.

Just wanted to update the previous review I made, regarding the 75" 3D Sony Bravia.

After 3 Weeks and no TV, and no shipping update, i called for a third time, this time demanding a refund.

The lady on the line asked me to let her look into it... After 30 mins, i got an email with same tracking number i got the previous 3 times, pointing to an item still awaiting pickup.

I immediately called back, this time explaining in minute detail that a tracking number to an item which had not shipped did me no good. Advised, (for the third time) that the shipper insists they haver not received the order from Joes... This seemed to register, and she advised she would handle this and call be mack tomorrow.

I never got the call back, but that night, the status on Joes website changed from 'processing' to 'shipped', and the status on the shipping website changed to 'Item Received'.

After missing the next promised shipping date, they offered and i got a refund on the $150 'free' shipping.

TV arrived 31 days after order.

It's a Sony Bravia, as advertised, could not be happier with the TV. IT was brand new, still in tape, just beautiful.

They definitely do need to work on their back end and shipping, however.

Ultimately, i ended up getting the TV for the price advertised

False advertising

In the website they had a TV for $ 1000 + free shipping + wall mount. Excellent price, so I decided to order the product. Later that day, I got a call from the vendor that they can't do free shipping, and was trying to convince me not to get the wall mount. Anyway, I wanted to avoid the hassle, so I agree to pay $90 for shipping + handling. 2 issues, I got charge $30 more dollars without my consent for warranty of delivery, and when the TV arrive, wall mount was missing. I was able to get the wall mount later on, but I will never buy from this company again. Trust is everything. I do not trust this company. Good luck!

The sale was pretty straight forward. Sales agent asked a few questions about the options I wanted of the TV and delivery. I decided on a 10 bit screen panel and a express delivery. The delivery was great because they bring it in the house BUT also plug it in to make sure there was no damage and that it worked. Which it did. They did not set it up per the delivery agreement. The only down side of the whole process is that you have a week or more with no word on the progress of the item. Not untill a day before the delivery is made by the trucking company. I did call after a week of the sale and was told that the next word I would receive was the trucking company delivery day. So you kind of had a dead space between the sale and when it was delivered. You can not track your delivery. I got through it and the TV is beautiful. And I would order from them again. They saved me a bunch of money. Doug

Got the best deal ever!

I ordered a 75" UHD TV from Joe's AV since they offered the best price, delivery and service. The TV arrived 3 days early and we are extremely happy with the whole experience and customer service provided by Joe's AV! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for your new UHD TV!

Very good service

Customer rep was very helpful. Delivery people carried in 65 inch tv 100 yards thru heavy snow brought tv in opened it up, plugged tv in and did initial setup. Packed up shipping materials and closed up in box.

Where to start... I purchased a TV from Joe's AV online. I received a call the next day trying to upsell me to the most recent model. It was only a $100 difference, so I was ok with the upgrade. That is until the charge hit my credit card. It was over $300 more than I was told. I immediately contacted the company to cancel the order. "It's already shipped, you can't cancel." I was told this for 3 days while they would not provide a tracking number (which means it was never actually shipped, they just didn't want to cancel the order). They are now trying to ship the item. I will not accept the item, as I don't want it. The website states there is a return policy, but the company will not abide by this policy. I called today telling them I won't accept the item if they try to ship it, as I do not want the item. I was yelled at "Why don't you want it!? You don't even have a reason, do you!". This company is literally the most shady company I have ever dealt with. I have since disputed the transaction on my credit card to get my money back, and there is nothing the company can do because I will never sign for the item. If you are considering ordering from this company because of the attractive low prices, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are a bait-and-switch scam company. Consider yourself warned!

Update: In case you haven't noticed... all of the "positive" reviews are fake, more than likely from the company or friends of. Why else would numerous reviews all post on the same date. Look at the details, folks.

Shady. Bait and switch

I recently bought a 60 LED TV from these guys. It initially seemed like a great deal... free shipping and no taxes; however, after you place your order, you get a call saying they can't ship for free to your location (Colorado in my case). It was another $150 for the shipping. I was pissed and was pretty sure I hadn't missed any fine-print on the website. But after doing a quick calculation in my head, including the free wall-mount, I felt it was still cheaper than going down to bestbuy. And the guy said he'd throw in a 4k HDMI cable. I went back to the website, thinking I missed something about the shipping, but no. There is Nothing about having to charge shipping to some places. False advertising. Bait and Switch. Not only that, but the "white glove" shipping is a joke. I was lead to believe these guys would do more than unbox it. These aren't AV experts that show you anything about the TV or hook anything up. They unbox it, turn it on, and leave. They were subcontracted out by the original named shipper. What's more, no wall mount, and the cable was a $7 cable from china, not a high-end cable. I called and complained and they eventually shipped me the wallmount and a better cable. I could have gotten it same-day at bestbuy for about $60 more and avoided all the frustration and waiting. Avoid these guys.
