I was expecting this site to be a scam after seeing some bad reviews from Reddit, but nope, it is absolutely legit. I received my order lightning fast (like 4 days?) and they were exactly as shown on the website. They didn't look like those Shein/Wish reality vs expectation dresses like I was afraid. What you see is actually what you get - these clothes are nice quality! Definitely try them out!

I ordered a dress, took almost a month to arrive, and the "off shoulder" sit for the straps is bulky and doesn't lay on the arms, as well as it smells strongly of fish. I asked to send it back immediately and they want 10% restocking fee even though I am returning with tags right away. I also ordered two necklaces (matching ones) for kids and one stretches and the other doesn't even get over a small kids head. They also are making me pay to ship it back. I am now out almost $40 because of their poor quality items.

I ordered a dress, took almost a month to arrive, and the "off shoulder" sit for the straps is bulky and doesn't lay on the arms, as well as it smells strongly of fish. I have worked hard and jumped through hoops to purchase a dress from JJs House. The experience has been horrible! As of now, they are holding $253 of mine for up to 14 days on an order they said to cancel and reorder via PayPal! What's worse? Their customer service SUCKS! You can't talk to anyone cause they are based in Singapore - wish I would have known that at the start! Buyer Beware! ZERO STARS!

Tip for consumers:
The absolute worst customer service! There isn’t any! So if you have any issues - you get zero help to resolve it! Your money will be held up for 2 weeks!

Very disappointed in the three dresses I ordered for the try before you buy. The dark red one came ripped in the back, had frayed strings and was missing the clasp on the back of the neck to close the dress. The navy dress was missing the clasp on the back of the neck as well. I couldn't even try on the black dress because it wreaked with stale cigarette smoke. How can you expect customers to purchase these dresses when they come in this condition. Very disappointing and it was a waste of $30.

Tip for consumers:
I can certainly understand if they did missed the dress being ripped (although it was a large tear in the back) and the top clip missing but there is no reason a dress should come smelling like cigarettes. It should have been washed. I cannot be near cigarette smoke after transplant and I'm lucky my throat did not close up.

Do not do the custom fit, they don't get it right, and are unwilling to refund or even try to fix their errors. Very poor customer service!

Quality not so great. Ordered a dress, did not like the quality,And did not look like the photos.
I ended up losing $40 on a $97 purchase knowing I paid for shipping the product to my destination. They have a restocking fee of 10% and they deduct the shipping fee knowing I paid for it…. Never purchasing any item from that site….

Don't buy from JJs House! The pics in the catalog are NOTHING like what you receive and then they give you the run around on the return. " open a case" then "go to our website" in a circle of no action forward!

In multiple conversations I was promised I would be able to get the flower girl dress in time. When the company replied the next day with the information I needed for my order (I was requesting a custom colour), I was told I would not be able to get the dress until a MONTH after the date I was roses just a day before. Needless to say, this meant it would come after the wedding.The company refused to admit their error or even attempt to make it right. I was left without a flower girl dress for the wedding.

I knew from the size of the box in which my Wife`s Mother of the Bride dress arrived in there were going to be problems. Measuring just 11"x 7"x 4" it was inevitable that the dress was going to be incredibly creased. To get those creases out was going to take professional help and additional cost. Despite exact measuring by my Wife & daughter the dress was too tight anyway.
This however is where the 1* review comes from. The customer service is almost non existent, I tried to find a customer service number I could ring but there doesn`t appear to be one. Their customer chat is for pre sales only and they at a push gave me a customer service address to email. Unfortunately the reply from here is a computer generated reply & doesn`t cater for individual genuine enquiries/Complaints at all.
My first email to them was a complaint about the £180 dress arriving in basically a shoe box, I also complained about the unreasonable postage costs of nearly £15 too. The reply may as well have been talking about Quantum physics as it had no bearing whatsoever on my complaint at all. My second email & third went unanswered.
The dress was unfit for use as it was but tucked away in the small print (which I encourage everybody to read twice) is a restocking fee of 10% + postage.
As I was unable to actually speak to someone at JJ`s House via telephone the dress was returned via the returns system and the money took around a week to be paid back in.
If things go right for you then maybe, just maybe your experience will be a reasonable one, however, if you have any problems like I did then you really feel stranded, frustrated & angry by the inability to contact them either by email or telephone.
The total spend at JJ`s House was £193.99
The amount returned to our account was a paltry £159.00; OUCH!

With no way of contacting them to speak to a human voice & argue your case, please consider carefully what happens if things go wrong?
Don`t just look at a couple of reviews in making your mind up, there are plenty of annoyed people out there if you search hard enough, trust me. If you look at their own website it shows 5* reviews. This just isn`t possible in my opinion, like me there must be some unhappy customers.

Would I use them again...HELL NO!

My Maid of honor ordered try on dresses and they sent them to the wrong province! Yes that happened and told her ohhh well, then I ordered one of my bridesmaid dresses and a month later still don't have, other bridesmaid after the second try on dress order…which actually made it to the right province lol the sizing is so wrong! My wedding dress which I ordered a month ago and still hasn't shipped…which I already know is going to be garbage and won't be here when it's supposed to be lol do not and I repeat do not! Order from this place!

I ordered 3 dresses on the 'try before you buy' promotion and they sent me the wrong size. I contacted them and they claimed that I ordered those sizes and they don't want to send a replacement with the right size dresses. Instead, they suggest that I place another order, paying again...
I would rather use another website, where they are more helpful.

I recommend no one to buy any dress from here, it is really a big scam going on in here, you will never get your money back. It's been more than 2 months I initiated my refund for my return and I am regularly following up for my money back, but always I get the same answer - We will mail you in 24 hours, but I never get any email back. I am really very annoyed of it. In case you don't refund the money back I am going to hire a lawyer get you guys sued.

Don't buy clothes from here, they will never respond to you, in case you want to return the article. Their return service is horrible. I bought a wedding dress from here and it has a bad quality lace, which was coming out of the dress and was not properly attached. Also when I tried it had a sweat smell where you can guess that it was not washed and was been tried by many customers. I am trying to contact the service by writing emails, submitting the request, and trying for several hours in the live chat window but no response. I am really disappointed and annoyed. I want to return the dress and want my money back!

If you plan to order a dress, do not plan to need a different size or exchange or purchase of a new dress. You will be paying for all shippings, restocking, the dress and the new dress even if it is in their 15 day period. They do not work well with you, and have poor customer service. Their policy is not clear up front and I do NOT recommend buying a dress from here unless you know 100% you will fit into the dress or you will be out a lot of money. Take your business elsewhere.

They wanted the tracking code for my return of the dress I ordered. I never thought to get it because I had my husband drop it off at the post office I never thought it'd be an issue. I know they received my dress! They are just an unethical and scam business. First, before i retuned my dress they saii couldnt then they changed their mind ((weird)))! :D But that's ok greed won't buy you everything. Karma always wins and your business is trash. My dress was about 150 dollars, I know I returned it. Keep my money but are trash people! Junkkkkk. Probably a bunch of Asians working for pennies. Get a real job

This company is a total scam and have been nothing but a headache to deal with. I have spent so much time trying to get the 3 dresses that I ordered and then was told they are made to order and can only get one at a time. The return policy is a joke. I was sent a label and they are telling me that it hasn't been returned. The tracking number is invalid (they sent it to me) and they are washing their hands of it. I have to email customer service every day and get one response a day so it takes several days to have a conversation. When I asked the rep why they couldn't take care of it today, she said because they are in Hong Kong. They have wasted so much of my time and the quality of the dresses were horrible! I honestly have never been more disappointed and am mad at myself for ordering with them to begin with. Any company that doesn't have a customer service number to call should be a red flag! I'm still trying to get this figured out and it's been 3 weeks!

A dress I ordered on line arrived the day before I came away on holiday. I tried it on and very sadly doesn't fit.
To get in touch you have to input a code. Every time the code is invalid and just deletes my whole message.
Just read reviews and now think I won't be able to obtain a refund.
Anyone have any advice please.

Posted screen shots of all responses and some responses to the company included PDFs of all the emails.

Tip for consumers:
That they do not respond, they lie and say they didn’t receive your email yet tell you to look in your spam filter, take over the time for them to respond then promised and you get no assistance when they’re not responding not producing your order. Pay by credit card to get your money back.

Purchased dresses and wraps. Shipping is not free and no way to contact the company. They delay shipping by saying they don’t receive an email response from you. Dishonest all the way.

I bought a dress for bride mom, picture looks gret but when dress came, it was horrible, does not fit, very heavy and ugly, I returned but they took out about 50 dollars, I e mailed them, no response
No one should buy dresses from here.
They told me I have to pay return postage which I understand but they took so much out even I did not like that dress
They should refund full amount if they want to have business

I purchased a custom dress on 9/27/2023 and paid for expedited shipping. In a wedding on 10/17. Its been a nightmare trying to get this fulfilled! I've used online chat who make tickets. Then emails that ticket their dress makers who seems like they don't communicate with their online chat. I paid for expedited shipping. Not only did I receive an email stating they were on holiday for 3 days (should let people know on your website) they would suspend my order because their online chat and designers couldn't communicate. My order went out on 10/11 -12 days after I placed my order. Plus they didn't use expedited shipping like I paid for! Online expedited shipping is 4 days. Mine is now expected to come to me on 10/19 AFTER the wedding. So thank you I now need to scramble to find something by 10/17. Shame on me for not checking out your reviews first (not on this site).

Wish they had zero stars! I regret not looking at the reviews before I made my order. Their website and return policy is horrific! I believe they make it that way on purpose. I followed all of their return instructions to a T. They did not refund me the complete amount even though I returned it to them unworn and in the exact condition that I received it within the allotted 14 days that they give for a return. I would avoid this company at all cost. I do not recommend this company at all!

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding. I often followed its path from China through the tracking service, which estimated a delivery by the 29th. On the 28th I checked again and the tracking website said it had been delivered on the 13th. I did not receive any delivery. I called customer service and they referred me to a certain delivery company. But when I called them, the tracking company answered. There is no way to contact the actual delivery company. They claimed the parcel was delivered and offered no help. Told me to call the vendor. Then the tracking website produced a picture of the parcel in front of my house. This is a gated community, very secure. I suspect that the driver stole the parcel after photographing it. It's the only possibility. I receive packages daily from Amazon and others with no problems.

They use a flakey delivery service.

Ordered a dress a few weeks ago and got it today 7/25. The dress did not fit. I asked for a return shipping label and refund to the original form of payment (which they do according to their website) but instead they are making things complicated and offering me a bunch of coupons instead of just refunding the money to the original form of payment! So unhappy with jjshouse, stay away!

They did not get the product to me even know I did everything right.They will not refund my money even though the issue is with their shipping.
