I signed up for a recurring membership and forgot to cancel it when I realized I was no longer using the service. I contacted the support team and they quickly refunded my paypal account. I thought that was really great as they did not have to.
Sent three different great JibJab cards. Really easy and really enjoyed that. However, no response from anybody. "Larsen" e-cards has a way for the receiver to send a thank you right from receipt of the card so that the sender not only knows the receiver got it and when they got it (all you e-card folks do that), but also that they enjoyed it.
I joined and built two cards - then the site went down. Had tons of trouble getting the site to come back up and when it did, my cards were not working properly and I had to rebuild them. Before the site went down, I found it more user friendly, with some options that now seem to be missing. Kind of disappointed in my experience.
I completed a birthday card to send and I was surprised that other than putting in an email address, there was no place for me to write a note. The only way they knew who it was from was my email address. While the song we did was fun, I really wanted to write a personal note. Ended up doing it under a separate email, but it loses the impact that way.
The last card I made was copied to my husband and he never got it. It's too late now, but I showed him the email address I had put for him, and it was correct. I also never heard from the recipient of the one I sent in March. I I think she would have thanked me or mentioned it if she had received it.
I liked the added feature of being able to see when the recipient opened the e-mail. I wonder if there is a way to let your recipients know ahead of time that the unfamiliar e-mail is from someone they know so that it doesn't go to spam... without having to notify them myself.
I signed up to send a card to my Grandchildren. Was billed for the year. I knew I might never use it again so cancelled. I expected to pay for 1 month since I used it, but they gave me a full refund. Would say they are a great company to deal with.
I love the app. It brings me to tears laughing whenever I use it. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the search functionality doesn't seem to work that great and I can't figure out how to search by # of people to include in the slits. But overall. Loads of fun.
I cant get used to the system where 1 month membership is "reduced" 50% and then create one funny card and see that I am charged 18 Euro for a year.
5 stars because for at least stating this charge asap in an email
5 stars for being able to reach sutomer service to complain about the trick and
5 stars for them to let me use the one card for 1,50 and refund the rest.
Better would be to work without this trick counting on the users to let it slide.

I've been a JibJab member for a number of years & have hoped for a quicker pace of new "Starring You" e-cards. Now that the membership cost has risen 50%, perhaps we'll see newer cards faster.
I also wasn't pleased that there was no notice of the price rise -- my membership was suspended at the date of 'automatic' renewal & I wasn't aware until I tried to send a card.
With that said, I love the cards!
I've been a member of JibJab on and off since 2010, and have sent hundreds of cards to friends either on face book or by email. Everyone who receives the cards loves them, and I have fun putting them together. The variety of cards keeps getting bigger and funnier, especially the dance ones.
I had a subscription that I didn't even know existed anymore. I then saw it on my credit card. I went to JibJab's website and the ease of their process was amazing. Their customer support, Trenten was great! He was fast with his responses, cancelled my subscription and refunded my subscription. I never thought it would be this easy. I am truly impressed with JibJab's customer service. Good for you! :O)
I could not align the mouths on my faces. I emailed your customer service people to ask for assistance several days ago now and I have had no response. I have not been able to use the card and feel as though I have wasted my money. I am very unhappy with this
I have not used my account in years and totally forgot about it until my cc charge came in - I contacted customer support a king for a refund and to close my account. They did both immediately. Great customer support and will certainly use them again in the future if the need arises.
I'm writing this review due to very positive experience(s) I've had using the JibJab site as well as outstanding customer service. I've used jibjab for a few years and was very happy with it. I was on auto pay but I needed to unsubscribe due to a financial issue and I didn't see the auto pay until it showed paid pending in my pay pal account. I wrote to JibJab and explained my circumstance and they immediately replied with a full refund. Just a great experience overall. I look forward to subscribing to them again once my issue clears. Just wanted to extend kudos to the JibJab team.
Maybe I missed something in the details but the first time I tried to buy a card I ended up having to sign up for an account with recurring payments of $18 a year. I had already spent 30 minutes looking for just the right pictures to add to the care. Then it let me purchase the card for $1.99. I was, however, able to cancel the recurring payments and the next week purchased another card for $4.99.

If I could just make one comment to improve this it would be to be able to put more than 5 people (we're 6 in the family so someone is always excluded) and probably be able to adapt the contours of the face cause the backeground is often visible on the sides.

Our family loved the christmas/snow versions and decided to buy it for the year. I assumed the birthday section would be just as fun to send cards to family throughout the year... disappointed in the selection. I guess I should have looked beforehand. But the thing that annoyed me the most was they want an additional $$$ to download and save each video. Wouldn't that just come with the yearly fee I paid?
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices.
