My grand daughter thought it was free and made a video it was funny. But she thought it was free and then ended up paying. Face fitting, a preview of the video before you buy, just put the price upfront.$18.00 is not a lot... but make it plain... put the price in the corner of each video and each picture... you would be swamped with business and happy customers... but be up front... I wanted to make one but couldn't find a price. No one wants a pig in a poke..
Such a fun sight to use, and the ecards are sure to make recipients smile. They are easy to make, the membership for a year is very affordable, and the customer service for the site is efficient, friendly, and eager to solve customer issues above and beyond.
The card I made I scheduled to be sent two days later. It was never sent when the date came. I remade the card and resend it. It did not send. I had to make it a third time and resend it. It's finally sent. But not to the second email address that I had on all of the previous cards. I had to monitor this function for four days constantly to make sure it finally was sent. Not a good system!
The birthday card was very effective and the receiver was very happy with that unfortunately I did not know that a charge would be applied I would have loved to have kept the card for future memoriesit was a big hit
I just registerd and sent my first greeting and the person doesn't recall receiving it, or possible deleted by accident - I went back into the site and there is no history of cards I sent so i can resend. If we pay for it we should have it saved?
I had lots of fun making the cards. The import and shape functions were very simple and the results were hilarious. However, because the email sender is JibJab, the card automatically goes to the Promotions folder of gmail recipients, and to who-knows-where of other recipients. I had to send follow-up emails to the recipients, telling them to look other places than their inboxes to find it.
I signed up using Facebook and the video I created didn't up load. I had to go back to the app and create one a different way and the one I originally want was available to choose. The cost wasn't clears either.
I have nothing but problems with trying to log in use a fb photo and then having to re-log in, then upload photo and have to re-log in again.
If I had not already been charged the $18 fee I would cancel now!
I found it very annoying to make a whole card, upload all the photos, do all the editing, and then find out there is a fee, and that I have to create and account, and then everything I just made doesn't exist any more once I do that, and then I do it all over again, and schedule it to be sent on mother's birthday, and it never gets sent... or she never receives it...
I Just wanted to build a video and ship it to a friend. There is no way to buy a single video. I had to create a membership, do my thing and then find a way to disable auto renew. Horrible experience. Also I wanted to download the MP4, I had to take my credit card out a second time, I payed and never found out how to download the MP4. So i paid and never got it. I don't think i will ever use this again.
I created an Birthday card for my frineds in another state. I let Jib Jab sent it to their address. They got it but when opening it it was blank. I had no problem seeing it.
I sent it to another person who had no problem seeing it.
The first recipient took several tries to see the e-card.
I just sent 1 father's day ecard to my dad and didn't realize I had to freaking pay $18 for the subscription, which I'm probably not even going to send another ecard for the rest of the year. So not worth it! If they want people to pay for it, then just charge them per ecard and not a yearly subscription, who send ecards everyday anyway?!?
I remember signing up for JibJab at Christmas, but I don't recall signing up for any kind of auto renewal. When my Visa was charged the following June, even though I hadn't used the service since Christmas I wasn't sure why. When I inquired about the charge, just expecting to have any kind of auto renewal turned off and no further charges I received a reply within two days with an immediate refund! No hassles, no questions asked. Excellent service JibJab - people shouldn't hesitate to sign up for this service if they want to. It was so fun making the card for everyone even though it was a one time use.
The Jibjab customer service department absolutely made my day by their hands-on, attentive, timely, and responsive approach to solving my problem. So often I feel like I am entering a black-hole of non-caring computers when I call a customer service department --- NOT SO with Jibjab! I knew that a caring attentive person was helping me.
I request and received a refund for an annual renewal that I did not know was in effect. Jibjab was terrific in that they honored my request and did so in a prompt and professional manner. I greatly appreciate it.
I realise it's a marketing trick to say it's USD2/month but if you charge as an annual fee then it's yearly so why not say so? At USD24/year subscription it's about AUD50/year... just for an e Christmas card? Way too expensive. Honestly, if you charge peeps just for the month, I think you'd make way more $$$. I've already found something similar elsewhere for free.
Had to try 5 times to get 2 videos to post. In the end, I gave up after only getting one to post. Then Jibjab signed me up for a year subscription for $18.00! I did NOT sign up for it and will not use it again ever! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
I made a card for a family reunion/birthday and included a member of the family that couldn't attend. Everyone laughed and loved seeing the missing family member dancing and singing with the rest of us. It was a hit!
The card was not sent or received to one of the people I sent it to. Luckily I spoke with them and found out they had not received it. I tried to pull it up again and resend it but that did not work so I had to re-create the card and send it all over again. Very disappointing.
Several people could not open the card because they needed to install Silverlight on the computer. I wonder if they could have opened the card on their phone instead of the computer & then could have seen the card
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices. This is part of our desire to make sure that anyone can learn to use and send our cards! Please feel free to reach out to help@jibjab.com with any additional feedback and we'll pass it along.
Answer: No more than 30 min. Had to find and edit my pictures that I used.
