Bought the 3 months subscription of Premium snack box for our daughter as gift and when she got the first box the other day, she absolutely fell in love with it and she's so happy. She so looks forward to her box coming every month. Thanks again to Japan Crate for their fabulous company and their amazing customer service!

Favorite of them all. Premium crate it is!

I found my favorite Japanese snack on my Premium crate! Great variety, nice items in my crate and hassle-free customer service. This makes Japan Crate website as my favorite online subscription site! Will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

I'm very happy with my Premium crate. Good value for money. I just renewed for another month and hoping that the crate will be fantastic as my April crate.

Excellent service, quick delivery to Turkey and everything packed really well.

Legit customer for 2 years now. Best ever subscription of mine. Though my crates got delayed during April and May but still received it after a while. You just need to have a lot of patience. We need to understand that the pandemic really hits all companies with the shipping not only Japan crate. Local shops closes down as well. Still grateful Japan crate still managed to survive even its a small company. Shout out to their customer support. The service is absolute. Replied in every email you send to them. They do marvelous job. Thank you Japan crate.

Crates are mediocre at best. I purchased a 6 month prepaid plan and was given NO indication WHATSOEVER that it was a recurring subscription. Six months go by, and I am charged another $214.50 US dollars. I contacted support, told them I literally cannot afford this because I have been unemployed over 6 months. They proceeded to give me the same answer everyone here gets. It's in the fine print. No refunds.

Website is a scam site. Stay away.

BRUTAL! You can bet most of the positive reviews on here are fake. Paid $150 for $25 worth of noodles. Thought I had cancelled but they auto renewed and refused to cancel. Predatory. They make it confusing on purpose. Much better services for this kind of thing online.

The things that are sent in the boxes are not worth the time or the amount of money. We live within 20 min. Of several stores I could buy it all from. I was trying to log in and cancel my next subscription and it would not let me, when I reached out to customer service it took them a day to respond and by then I was charged for the subscription. They told me I can no longer get a refund. I can't believe a small delay would be so damming. I'm now out $270, and have way too many cheap snacks piling up in my pantry.

Do not order. Terrible auto-renewal policy with no email to let you know in advance and no refunds even in you contact them before anything has shipped. I contacted them on the date of the renewal to cancel and it was a flat no. No problem sending you marketing emails but auto renewal information warnings are non-existent. There is a reason that this page doesn't have a company rating function - you'll see many people are upset about this if you google it.

Finally I got my March crate. This is long overdue but at least you guys send a replacement crate. Thanks to your customer support who assisted me when my crate was not delivered. Your support instantly notify me that you guys will send a replacement crate instead. Best customer support ever and a good way to make your customers happy, I did ask for refund but sending a crate is better as I really wanted to experience the same.

A fun way to spend the upcoming weekend at home with Japan crate snacks premium box. Great service and amazingly good snacks. Best experience ever no regrets! Thanks Japan Crate

I received my Noodle box well in time! I was so surprised how well packed this yellow box is and how properly arranged the noodles in it. After these are gone, I hope to reorder. Well worth the price, quality excellent, and just a good experience. Thank you so much. I definitely will buy again.

All of my 6 Umai crate which I ordered many months ago have been received and posting the last crate that I just got from the mail recently.

I receive my Premium box from Japan crate after a long wait. But all is fine, I though I'm going to lost another crate. The customer support didn't let me down on this one. About the products, it was a great selection of various snacks from Japan. Hard to find items from my local store. Easy ordering, good communication, and follow up post delivery. Unfortunately, I lost my January crate before but its all worth it. They refunded me the money and send me a new crate. Great customer service. Will order again in the future. Recommended!

Hello, Japan crate! First of all let me say thank you for sending over my crate in 1 piece. Moving forward, why I love Japan Crate? Even do I can't buy a Crate, as my life still depend with my mom^^. My mom gifted me a crate and I really love that they include exclusive Japanese anime themed candies and also games! Exactly what I expected.

Exactly what I expected. Although I had to wait for another week due to courier restriction but everything else is good. Ordered the Japan premium crate. The shipment delayed for a week and send email to customer support. They were apologetic but everything was sorted out. Customer service was amazing. They gave a timeframe and to my surprise I received the crate before the date they mentioned. What an experience. Great team! Thank you Japan crate.

I ordered Premium box on January and was delayed for a month coming here in Australia. Email them and customer support keeps me updated with the current situation and I absolutely understand due to the COVID-19 situation nowadays. Anyways, its worth the wait. Fair value considering what you get. Excellent customer service which add more value to the overall experience.

Something fishy
August 1, 2020

I have been subscribed for three months. It started well, with a very good selection of candy and snacks in my first box(June). The next month, Japan Crate added a high shipping fee($10.95) with the promise of a faster delivery(3-5 days). This month, they claimed that my box "shipped" on 7/21. After about 10 days, there is no update on the tracking info. The tracking only shows that the shipment information was sent to the courier. I contacted the courier who said they never received the package yet from Japan Crate. I go back to Japan Crate and they deny this. On their instagram page a lot of people are complaining about the same thing. I will cancel my subscription despite initially liking the products I received, because Japan Crate did not fulfill their faster delivery which I already paid for and because they provided me with false information and tried to blame the courier.

I am very happy with my order. I find the prices mostly reasonable for getting Japan goodies in the US. I love the snack box. The little red box is so catchy and amazing. Got my Premium crate just on time for Christmas. Delivery time is tolerable despite the hassle of delayed crate. After all, I still receive the crate. No drama, just be patience. I trust Japan crate and I will continue to order!

Fun and Delicious!

Me and my wife ordered the Japan Premium crate last month. We just want to try it out. We received the box the other day and we instantly fell in love with the crate! They are an authentic and a fun way to try new snacks from Japan. So much goodies for a small box and totally hooked with the crate.

Great products and great customer service! Quick delivery as well. Definitely will recommend Japan Crate. It was a pleasure subscribing with Japan Crate.

I subscribed to Japan Crate snacks box before and tried all there crates from snacks to noodles crate. I like all the concept of there crates but what I really like most was the Doki Doki crate. The Doki Doki crate is great with selections of Kawai items made from Japan. I love the collaboration of there items that they include in each box every month. Definitely loving the different Cardcaptor Sakura items that have been featured lately. Every item match up with the theme. Its one of the best Japan item subscription online. Very kawaii. Smart choice. Worth to subscribe if your are really a fan.

Japan Crate has definitely won my kids heart. It was fun and nicely done and snacks are delicious. My kids love the monthly surprises that come in these Japan Crate boxes. They're more interested with the DIY part where they will look for it once I open the crate. There hasn't been a treat that went to waste. It was really a fun thing to do together with your kids.

Billing was a little confusing at first due to some changes they were making in the new website but it seems to be getting better as the month go by. I subscribed from December and we've been receiving monthly boxes since January. I have a 12 months subscription and it took months to deliver to our door here in Netherlands. But hey, its all worth the wait. Kids are happy every time it arrives. So it all ok to wait.

I didn't receive my April crate and all I thought that the crate is lost but when you reached out to there customer support, they will update you and give you more information about the crate. If it was really lost, then they will send a replacement crate like the April crate as I may say but it got lost due to courier. They send a replacement and still waiting up until now but then my July crate already arrived and waiting for 2 crates which is April and August crate.

Email notifications are a top notch, so you'll getting updates from time to time. Overall experience we're so far great. Customer support is always on the go for the support you needed. More crates to go and keep it coming.

Japan crate has a great selection of crates. If you love snacks, you go for the Premium. That's what I did. Ordered 2 Premium boxes for me and for my friend as a gift. They package the merchandise very carefully. Their prices are very competitive. Their website is very pleasant to navigate. Crates arrive fast and very quick. My best friend is super happy. Great gift.
