I have been using the software and web storage for years. Lots of updates and new version with constant usability through them all. I don't use social media so this online web builder and storage works great to share my photos with descriptions.

Very pleased with this software. I needed to publish about 1000 photos from a recent trip. Needed to organize by folder and camera date. There were many themes to choose from, all of them professionally created and error free. This is an excellent way to organize photos and video for personal or professional use.

There are so many things that are great about jAlbum. Probably top thing is that everything is on my computer, and you can test a project locally before deploying.
The completed project displays properly on every type of screen and in every browser. If you're a newbie, just make the gallery and upload it to the jalbum site.
As Billy Mays said, "But wait! There's more!"
I was skeptical when jAlbum told me I could run my entire site with it, but yes, you can, AND you can create a test site and try it live on the web before deploying.
Not to diss Wordpress or Sitejet, but they're online, and even with their previews, I've had updates break on different browsers or when accessed from a phone.
With jAlbum, that never happens.
Summarizing:
Everything is on your computer. If your entire site crashes or you change hosting services, you can upload the whole thing and lose nothing.
It displays properly on every screen size and in every browser.
You can fully test changes before deploying,

JAlbum makes it easy to create photo albums. I use it for my personal portfolio, and I've used it in the past to create albums for the weddings I shot.
I finally upgraded to the latest version and am really happy I did. A great program to put photographs and videos, with music, on the web in minutes. I can open the program, add photos, add music, and put it online for my family in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended...

I have used this off and on for several years. Don't expect a fully featured app. The point of jalbum is to publish your images quickly and easily. And for that, it works very well;.

I've been a jAlbum client for likely 15 years, maybe more. I love the new features they add, but for the most part I still use it like I always have. That is, I make photo albums for my websites. And why do I use jAlbum? Because it works!
I use this to add a page of photos to my website monthly. JAlbum works very well at this. I would benefit from a way to put for example "page 3 of 5" on each page as an option. It would also help to have a way to take an existing page and amend more photos to it. Right now I do that manually.

Experienced some problems with my albums' upload but the the Help Desk provided all support I needed.
I've used jAlbum for a number of projects and find it a pleasure to work with. It is easy to use, flexible and I've gotten great results. I especially like the ability to tag photos and have the tags display in the Tag Cloud that gives users a table of contents.
