Stay far away from this company unless you like rude uncarring customer service. The person who answered my call Linda had no clue what good customer service is all about. Will never do business with this untrustworthy company

Gave up my morning break and now my lunch break on hold for customer service. The whole time hearing "we at Jack's small engines feel the after sales support is as important as before the sales" How about putting some of your emailers on a telephone.

"I ordered some Mower belts using their website recommendations for my made and model and received the wrong products. Not only that I had to pay the shipping charges of the return, I was also not refunded the total amount I paid. They made a mistake and they made me pay for it. So I lost 35 dollars on the total purchase of $65.00 I will not recommend doing business with these Jacks"

Undoubtably the worst on line shopping experience I've ever had. Ordered parts that were supposedly in stock and have yet to receive anything after 2 1/2 months Tracking number leads me nowhere. Finally after a lengthy on hold time I was able to talk to a customer rep who was really quite polite however not at all helpful.
Should of read the online reviews first.
DONT SHOP THERE! There are reviews that question if this company is even legit and I'm wondering myself. She said theyd refund me so well see if that happens

DON'T BUY FROM JACK'S!

Don't buy from Jack's! I am having the same problem.as many others. I bought parts that appear to be in stock, and keep receiving ails that delivery is pushed back because they are waiting for backorded parts. It has been four months since I placed my order and I still have no parts OR a response from customer service at this so called business. If you want to waste your money, this is the place to throw it at. Don't waste your time OR your money dealing with this business. They won't have your parts and they won't return your calls or emails!

Not OEM or equivalent parts
June 15, 2021

Husqvarna has all grade 8 bolting, nuts, and washers. They sent me "OEM"parts that were all grade 5. Took 4 weeks to get my parts to find out I could bye the grade 8 bolting I needed from my local hardware store for pennies on the dollar. CROOKED!

Order never sent
July 4, 2020

I made an order from jacks small engine on May 15th 2020 and they have pushed the ship date back four or five times because of one screw is out of stock and is in their warehouse. I purchased two items 1 screw and a weed eater gearbox, the gearbox is in stock and has always showed in stock but they are still waiting on the screw. I messaged them a few days ago and said forget the screw just ship my order. Today is July 4th 2020 and they still haven't shipped. I will call next business day and if I can't get through or I don't see by the tracking number provided that still shows's my order not shipped I'm going to contact my bank and get a full refund.

I posted two messages on their web site requesting information about a replacement engine for my mower. Yesterday I received a reply to my review. They said jack's small engines doesn't and never has had a web site. All I know is when I type in "jack'sdmallengines.com" I found a company that sells lawnmower parts. I tried to call them but had to us their "contact us" section to send a typed message. I also found a statement that Jack's closed in December 2019. Is there a Jack's Small Engines anymore?

Bad business

They do not stand by their products.
I bought an areator Husqvarna Easy Hitch Platform that I purchased on 6/4/2020.
The foot stand weld has fallen apart from the wheel axle showing rusted areas around the weld during the very first use demonstrating poor quality only five days from the purchase. I spoke over the phone and emailed them photos requesting a resolution which as today has not been offered. From their side not attempt to contact me as been made. When I called one the operator also told me that the pictures did not show any rust so she wasn't sure if anything could be done about it so I asked for a supervisor who was not where to be found. I left a voice message with not response. My areator still broken.

Avoid this place at all cost. They stole my money. I had to get my credit card company to go after them to get my money back. 2 months of hassle just because I told them to make sure they don't ship me a damaged item. They went ahead and canceled my order without letting me know because they were actually sending me broken equipment and then didnt want to return my money. Total scammers. Buy at your own risk! These people are worse than Nigerian scammers. Worst place I've ever done business with. I would give them negative 100 stars if it was possible. $#*! these people.

Very Slow!

Ordered parts that were supposedly in stock than got email stating they were back ordered. Parts finally arrived about two months later. I also didn't like the fact they charged my credit card immediately even though the parts were out of stock.

Ripoff
August 23, 2022

The pellet stove was on sale, and suppose to ship within n a couple weeks of the shipping date. My money was held onto for two months, and then I was refunded. Some businesses advertise sales, and then hold the cash. I have seen this alot on eBay from small time sellers.
I bought a better stove for slightly more from the home company.

Scam!
July 20, 2021

Ordered parts on July 2nd, that showed in stock on their site! Got an email showing parts back ordered! They charged my card immediately, it's now July the 20th, I've called, I've emailed, No response! I should have read the reviews! Don't make the same mistake as me!

I ordered my part Aug 14, it was shipped Sep 11. I still have not received it. I was not informed the part was not in stock and believe I should have been. Ordered from another online source and received it the same week. I will not order from Jack again. I bet the five star on this page was a review done by Jack himself.

Cancelled Order
September 9, 2019

Jack's cancelled my order to Canada because it was too big for USPS. I called and spoke with them to see if they would work with another carrier for my freight to be delivered. I was told no because they only go ship with USPS.
They kept saying they wanted to sell me the pump but they could only ship it to someone in the USA and then I would have to figure out another way to ship the freight. Unfortunately for me I don't know anyone i can ship this too to hold until i can get an actual carrier to pickup the freight.

If they really wanted to sell me the pump they would have worked with me to get this delivered.

2 days after my order, Jack's emailed me to call them before they could process my order. When I did, they REQUIRED that I send them a copy of my driver's license "so that they could be sure there was no fraud". WHAT?!?!?! There was nothing about that on their website, nothing when I placed the order, nothing in their email. But now they had my credit card info and I'm afraid of THEIR fraud. This is DISHONEST. No business has ever asked for a copy of my driver's license. My husband and I are both lawyers - no one should give Jack's their driver's license, and no one should order from them. We cancelled the order. But we've now lost 3 days in getting the equipment we wanted, and they still have our credit card info... Truly absurd!

I ordered a leaf blower from the online order webpage. The ordering processing is deceptively flashy and seemingly well organized. As soon as I completed the order I was asked to complete a survey. Unfortunately, the survey doesn't address how the order was subsequently handled. I next received an email requesting that I call the company to review my order. I was advised that everything was in order but they wouldn't be shipping the item until next spring, despite the clear language at the website (that I relied on) that the item would be shipped before the end of the month. Now that they've processed my credit card for the purchase, I'll need to contact the bank to cancel the fraudulent charge. Next time, I'm ordering from a company that stands behind their promises.

Back order
September 15, 2020

Ordered a part one month ago and no part yet plus they charged my card when i ordered. No quality control. I canceled my order and expect a refund and they were nice about that... hope it does not take a month. I ordered part from another dealer and part was shipped the same day. Might have to find another dealer then Jacks. They were good in the past but what happened

July 8. What an absurd business. Apparently they don't have stock. They just order what you order. NOT knowing this, and believing the "most items ship 2~4 days" line, I placed an order on June 7, i received a backorder notice two days later, stating expected shipping in a week. Every week I get the same notice, another week. I think I'm the fifth backorder delay now. Pathetic. Further, I placed another order with them on July 6 for a basic idler pulley. I just received a backorder notice for it too, saying estimated shipping on the 22nd! How utterly useless of a business. Try to save a couple dollars, end up costing you weeks if not months, in delays. And that's provided they ever ship ANYTHING I've ever ordered from them.

This has been the worst ordering, shipping, and customer service I have had in a long time!
First: I paid for expedited ordering; this did not happen.
Second: The item was shipped through FedEx. It traveled from the east coast to the west coast 2 times each way. It arrived with a signature request, the driver dumped it in my driveway and ran. I did not sign for it! It arrived a mangled mess.
Third: When I opened the box there were no signs of packing material. It looked like I was sent a return. After further inspection none of the nuts, bolts, washers and whatever else you needed to put this item together were missing. No parts list! Handlebars are extremely scratched up/damaged. I paid 1500.00$ for this item.
Fourth: I have been in contact with your customer service through this whole process. I requested a replacement; I was told they are on back order until September. I will not need it then; it is planting time now. I requested a refund; I was told I would get a label for FedEx to come and get it within 24 to 48 hrs. This did not happen. The customer service agent Stephen Kirk wanted me to take it to a FedEx drop off…. 175LBS…. Really? Not only am I handicapped but your company sent me a returned item, that is a mangled mess. I have not received a refund either!
6 weeks I have been messing around with this, I should get paid for all the work I put into all this.
