Been over a month and have yet to receive parts. One part is ready to ship, the other is still on backorder. My recomendation is DO NOT USE jacks small engines as a parts supplier. They are terrible. When I finally called for assistance, I was placed on hold and no one was availiable. Absolute terrible customer assistance.
I ordered a hard to find bagger it for my zero turn, confirmed it was in stock, confirmed when it would ship and paid my money. They didn't ship when they said they would (or do anything they said they would. After several very long wait time phone calls, other estimates when it would ship that didn't happen and return emails with explanations they said they would send but never did, they finally admitted they didn't actually have the part and couldn't get it. So weeks into this mess, after missing out on buying somewhere else. I am back to the drawing board for a part I need and now can't find at all. I should have read the other reviews before buying from them. They brag about their customer service but they simply don't have any.
Cabt get in touch the phone line says 2 callers in front of you then goes up in wait time from 2 min to 22 min after 39 minutes I hung up oarts wrong and took over week site gave me wrong oart numbers
3 and a half weeks ago I ordered a Honda crankshaft and seal. Crankshaft was showing in stock and could be shipped to me ASAP, they were waiting on the seal from Honda. Today they tell me they have the seal but not the crankshaft.
Do not believe these lying bastards. Three and a half weeks later I'm still waiting for parts which they said was in stock!
They did not tell me to after I ordered. Same part is available on multiple sites. I will NEVER use again.
We needed a new steering shaft for our riding zero-turn mower. Using the diagrams on the website, we were able to identify the part we needed, clicked to add to cart and proceeded through the easy payment process. I received an email right away with the receipt and soon after, I received another email saying my part has shipped. Within 2 days I had my part and am ready to mow when the weather warms up. I will be doing more business with Jack's in the future. Thank you for such a flawless shopping experience
These one star reviews are no joke. This company, who is Northern Tool by the way, is horrible! Buy anything you need from ANYONE else.
Ordered parts on July 2nd, that showed in stock on their site! Got an email showing parts back ordered! They charged my card immediately, it's now July the 20th, I've called, I've emailed, No response! I should have read the reviews! Don't make the same mistake as me!
I ordered a trailer hitch kit for my ZTR lawnmower from Jack's.
First, I was surprised to find that Jack's sold a $23.00 hitch without the four carriage bolts and nuts needed to mount it. But no matter. I paid for the four needed nylon-locking nuts and four 3/4" carriage bolts (which increased the order price by $13.84, that is, $1.73 per bolt and $1.73 per nut).
When the box arrived, the packing list showed hitch, four nuts and four bolts, but Jack's only sent three bolts.
C'mon, packing people. You had one job... and you blew it.
I spent 45 minutes going to the hardware store to match the carriage bolt. I did so (Ace Hardware sells the same $1.73 carriage bolt for $0.33).
This is lousy. Not only does Jack's not include mounting hardware (which is an extra $2.00 retail,) but it charges five times the retail price for plain-vanilla carriage bolts and nuts, and then shorts people on the order.
Jack's website proudly proclaims its motto is "After the Sale, It's the Service That Counts!"? It should be, "First we treat you bad - then we take your money."
Don't patronize this company.
Husqvarna has all grade 8 bolting, nuts, and washers. They sent me "OEM"parts that were all grade 5. Took 4 weeks to get my parts to find out I could bye the grade 8 bolting I needed from my local hardware store for pennies on the dollar. CROOKED!
My complaint is like everyone else's. I ordered online an item that appeared to be in stock and then I get an e-mail saying they are out of stock and waiting for a new shipment from the manufacturer. I contacted them twice with no response. However, they were quick in charging my credit card. Don't deal with them. They are a sham company.
I ordered a $760.00 bagger for an Ariens zero turn. It was back ordered and when I received it it was the wrong one. They said I could ship it back at my expense and the shipping cost was $950.00. Please do not do business with this company.
Found a Murray Lawn Tractor stored in a shed for 8 plus years. Among other things carb was shot - Ordered new one from Jacks, got it in 3 days, installed and fired right up. Very happy customer!
Bought a "new" $1,000 Ego power system from Mowers at Jacks. Four weeks later received an obviously used main unit and used batteries. Scratches all over the main unit and batteries with more than obvious signs of wear. Called Jacks and while they were not rude they refused to believe my description of what was delivered. Claimed they only sell "new units" and would not agree to take the unit back. I offered to send photos to show them the unit and batteries and was told no matter I sent them they wouldn't accept a return UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. Hoping I can get a refund from my credit card company but looks like I'll have to eat the return delivery cost in order to get the refund.
It doesn't take much looking at reviews to have an idea of what to expect. Just order the parts you need off eBay from China and you will get your parts and quicker. Just goes to show anyone can make a website to steal money and nothing happens to them. I'd like to take a hot steaming dump in "Jacks" mouth. Screw this company!
Slow to ship, no response to emails and keeps changing the shipping date. I ordered a 5 pack of gaskets on 6/1. The first told be they were out of stock and expected to receive them on 6/11. Then the changed the receive date to 6/20. I sent them an email to see if they had 5 individual ones in stock. No response. I then went to their website and did a chat. I knew they had 9 indiviual pieces in stock and asked if they could send me 5 individual pieces instead of a 5 pack. Jason their customer service rep told me they would only do that if they if I paid the individual price he could not adjust the price.
The gasket is for a Briggs 5 hp engine. There are literally millions of those engine in service and they don't stock a 5 pack of gaskets for it.
By the time I receive my order it will have taken a month to fill.
Update: After sending 2 more emails telling me my order shipment back has been pushed back to June 30th then July 9th I cancelled my order and placed it with another company who shipped my parts the same day as I ordered it. Let's see how long it take Jackass engines to refund my money they took over a month ago and never shipped my order.
I ordered a cable on 4 30 20 said one in stock now telling me it shipped on 5 11 20 and 3 hrs after I called usps sent text saying it just received it on 5 13 20 and i should get 5 18 20 if shows up then thats 18 days why charge for 2 day and not credit my account never order anything again buyer beware
Made the order for you he items of which was described as in stock and ship in 2 business days waited for two weeks jack small engine claimed to be waiting on manufacturers,this does not seem to be in stock 9 of my items were incorrect called for an exchange and Brett assured I was wrong, I gave up and decided to take the loss and never do business with jacks small engine when Brett argues 1-1/2 inch minus 5/8 inch equaled 1/2 inch!!!.SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Jack's cancelled my order to Canada because it was too big for USPS. I called and spoke with them to see if they would work with another carrier for my freight to be delivered. I was told no because they only go ship with USPS.
They kept saying they wanted to sell me the pump but they could only ship it to someone in the USA and then I would have to figure out another way to ship the freight. Unfortunately for me I don't know anyone i can ship this too to hold until i can get an actual carrier to pickup the freight.
If they really wanted to sell me the pump they would have worked with me to get this delivered.
Ordered a brand new engine cost over $450.00 and waited for 8 days to get any response when will it be shipped.
Called 5 times and checked online still pending and finally shipping it out?

Website 2-4 days for delivery and this how you treat me? You should of shipped over night for the troubles I went thru... the engine was in stock and no special order. I own a construction business and time is money.
