It's Just Lunch

This has been a very unfortunate experience for over a year. IJL makes many promises up front to get you to sign up, and then asks for reviews after setting up one date. You are promised 12 dates in 6 months, and personally I have seen 6 dates in over 15 months around a major city area with 5 million people.
My emails to the company are usually not responded to and I would recommend to anyone to NOT use IJL and put your money towards dating apps, even as bad as those are.

You asked me to review, you got it. Member since Summer 2023 and I've only been on three dates, none of which resulted in anything. Had I known a month earlier about Jigsaw dating events that started in my area, I wouldn't have signed up.

The model seems broken; who's paying $2,000 when there are apps which are a) free and b) have significantly more possibilities? Matchmakers are doing the best they can, but some don't seem to understand geography, especially when I was clear I wasn't interested in going to neighboring markets 2+ hours away. (One found me a gorgeous girl two hours past the hour I'd have to drive to get to my "local" market, but never followed up on if she'd be willing to meet halfway.)

When I contracted the service for the one I paid 5000 dollars I did it because I was looking something different that I have founded in the date apps, starting for best matches according to your expectations and is not that IJL gave me, in eight months I have only dated two times and I rejected two or three candidates because they were not physically my type also that I have never receive feedback or something that could help me to find a partner absolutely the worst service

Stay clear! The service should be called It's Just A Waste Of Time And MONEY! It's a complete waste of time and money. Go on a nice vacation instead. You will have better luck on apps, which isn't saying much and is a very low bar. They sell you a bill of goods saying they have lots of potential matches and they don't. You tell them what you are looking for and they clearly don't care or listen. After I paid $3000 and had my second match, I found out that they are so desperate to find potential men, they offer a service to them for under $1000! It's illegal to charge women more money then men! Of course when they are selling you the service, they don't tell you this. Yes, I tried to get my money back and no luck! Giving them one star is being extremely generous of me. YUCK is all I can say!

Before joining It's Just Lunch, I had no problem getting in touch with someone - even on weekends - with any questions or concerns. Now that I'm a member, it's almost impossible to get a response from anybody. I've been on one date since I joined (two months ago). I can't get any feedback or new prospects - just no response. I'm feeling like I've been scammed.

This company is a scam. I signed on Jan 6,2022 and after two months I haven't date with anyone! The quality of guys seems so low. Theft showed me one profile and I didn't like the guy. I explained one more time, and second was better, but still not even close to what I expected. Since that haven't heard from anyone. Calls, emails. Finally talk to VP and she said there is no way to refund! But I don't understand what kind of scam is that? Just taking people money and don't even provide with a service? Definitely someone has to stop them. Just lost $4900! Be aware

It's Just Lunch long, but have already had two other matchmakers. There's a saying about the third time is the charm - well Tanya has been the charm for me. I look forward to continuing to work with her.

I was so hopeful that I could find someone through a service that vetted men, but that was the only thing that was helpful. My dates were all at halfway points which were as far as I was willing to go to date someone. Most lived 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. I am a city girl and only one man even liked going into the city and even then he was gone every 2 weeks. I cannot believe there was not one man in the city I could meet. Most dates were only once a month. I wish I just would have saved my money since I really did not have that much. Still paying till January and no dates at all since one in September. Sadly I was hopeful at my age and nothing worked out at all. Sorry that I had to write this as I really liked my counselors. Not their fault if there us no one for me. Back to the bars!

I had a very enjoyable dinner date, which was arranged by this company. We enjoyed a drink and dinner together. Amber arranged everything in a very professional way which turned out wonderfully! The person who I met was a perfect match for me in that we had very many common interests and we were able to engage in a very lively conversation! I recommend this company to anyone and everyone who wants to have a lovely dating experience!
