I used IJL many years ago and the improvements they made the process. I appreciate the addition of how the screening process has improved and can accept or decline an option. Being able to get that additional information is helpful compared to my prior experience being more of a blind date. Also accepting the date and synching with availability with my calendar. I like that they added a dedicated person to go through the process to help find the best possible matches.

I have been a member with IJL for 11 month (since the end of November 2023). For the first 7 month I was very unsatisfied with the service I was getting, in other words I was not getting any service at all. In July 2024 I was contacted by agent Marina who was a matchmaker for the guy who was interested to meet with me. I really liked Ms. Marina's approach and professionalism in matchmaking and for the first time I experienced the best service in IJL and I requested Ms. Marina if she could be my matchmaker. I started getting more and more dates with great man in town since Ms. Marina took over my case. My rate for Ms. Marina is 5/5.
Rate for IJL is 3/5 for the bad experience (for no service) I had for 7 month.

So far its been a great experience. The process was in-depth and thorough in order to gather the information necessary to arrive at appropriate dates. IJL has delivered on what they said they were going to do. Jaiye and I have had several candid conversations and I believe he got me and listened to what I as looking for.

The experience has been great so far. I've had a couple of wonderful dates and have enjoyed working with my matchmaker on honing in on what a great fit looks like. It's been a fun process and I'd recommend the service to those have busy schedules who are looking for serious partnerships.

I was a little apprehensive in trying a MatchMaking service, but the onboarding process left me with a good feeling, I recently went on my first date with them and enjoyed the experience!

I had a wonderful experience with James, who I then signed up and was given Marina as my matchmaker. Although the right person hasn't shown up yet. I have to give kudos to Marina for being very responsive, as far as answering emails and phone calls. But most importantly, her compassion in the way that she explains what the process is, and the confidence that she instills in a love future for her clients, ME!

I had my very first date setup by my matchmaker and it was the best blind date ever😍. There was no pressure, everything was completely setup from the time and place. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. We talked about everything from our upbringing, family, values, etc. Not saying we're feeling married tomorrow but definitely we're open to continue to feeding to know each other. And that's how adult dating should be

I want to express that if you're considering giving them a chance, be cautious. I once did, and when I wanted to cancel due to issues with their matchmakers, they assured me they'd improve, particularly highlighting Tanya's good personality. However, the overall experience with Just Lunch hasn't been effective if you're serious about finding a match. They lack accurate information about potential matches, and sometimes your date may not even show up, leaving you waiting at the restaurant with no support available.

I have been dealing with It's Just Lunch since June 2020, signing up with a 12 date or 12 month (which ever comes last) deal. Well it has been 3 1/2 years and I still haven't got the 12 dates. There are plenty of singles out there yet this company can't seem to find just 12 between the ages of 58-68 in 3 years. When they do find a so called match, it's typically outside the age group in my profile. They use zero psychology in making matches.

I had other matchmakers before I was teamed up with Anita. The others seemed to be giving me a list of anyone who was available, but didn't really resonate with me in real life. She picked great dates for me with really interesting guys. My dates have been so much better thanks to Anita.

When I was interested in signing up I was told my city was one of the largest dating pools (I live in Toronto Canada). I have few and far between matches we are talking 4 marches in 9 months. I'm a good looking 37 year old with a great personality and open minded about my matches. I just have restrictions around age (15 year range), that they want children, would not expect me to convert, and live within a reasonable distance (ie. Not a 1.5 hr commute away). Otherwise I am open minded about matches for me and yet they still fail to deliver. On top of that several times I have been "matched" only to find out after they are no longer available. For the $4000 I paid for this service it is a waste and they can't even match me with the very basics I listed above they once matched me with someone who didn't know if they wanted a family and they lived a 1.5 hr commute away.
