Sales people convinced me about the quality and professionalism of their service. It wasn't the case or even close, the dates they sent me on were with women with nothing in common with me.
IJL is a complete waste of money and more importantly time.
My Executive Match Maker (Elliot) did an amazing job. He truly analyzed my likes and dislikes, and matched me with a beautiful woman who met 80-90% of my primary likes. Elliot worked closely with the both of us to schedule the first date quickly, but also gave us ample time to prepare for it. He went above and beyond to coordinate a date and time which worked for both our schedules. Neither one of us was terribly inconvenienced. My date with her was the best: great conversation and dinner lasting a little over 3hrs. Elliot followed up with me a few days after, and helped me plan the next step to having a second date with her soon. Thanks Elliot / IJL.

My initial experience was not good. My first matchmaker was not responsive and did not have a good handle on the type of man I was looking for. I suspended my contract for a period of time and then decided to try again. My experience with my present matchmaker, Jaiye, has been very good. He is responsive to my calls and texts and knows the type of man I am looking for and it shows in his selection of dates.

I signed up with two matchmaking companies this year and the two agencies were night and day different. I'm having a very positive experience with Cupid's Coach, and not so good with It's Just Lunch. I'm here in Southern CA and the IJL matchmakers are all in Florida. They've never met me and they just seem to be throwing me together with just anyone.
Will D, matchmaker at IJL, handled the details of where and when to meet my dates. There was a change in one candidate's availability and Will D made the effort to reschedule my date with him. When I show up for my first date I'll know for certain that each of us will have elected to be there. This is one significant advantage of working with It's Just Lunch, as opposed to going it alone. Will D set up lunch with confidence and enthusiasm and designated a place to meet. That's a place to start.

Jayie was a gem. He took his tome and matched me up with the perfect date. It was very weird, but we everything in common right from the start and ended up in a very happy relationship within a week...unbelievable I know but true.
I would highly recommend Jaiye to all present and future IJL clients. He's professional and knows his business...THE BEST!

I appreciate the attention to detail (such that they can) that IJL spends to find the best match they can with pool of candidates they have access to. They follow up after each date so that they can further refine the process. I also like that each member that I have interacted with at IJL has lots of experience and really empathize with their clients

Overall I have been very pleased with IJL. I have been with them for several years. I am not into dating apps and this is a great way to meet professional people. They do the work for you! I have had several matchmaker's over the past, I know Eyrina is the best one I have had. She listens and understands. Some in the past and I believe are no longer there, was just checking boxes. IJL keep up the good work

After 5 months of membership, I finally got a date worth accepting. It was so good, we've decided to go on a 2nd date! IJL's restaurant venues in Albuquerque appear to be very limited and were placed at Buca di Beppo, serving family style portions of italian food. How does that work for an intimate date for two? Suggest IJL expand it's footprint.

I believe Bryanna may be the first matchmaker I have worked with at IJL who reviewed my profile and looked for a suitable match instead of trying to match me with people who were in many ways the opposite of what I am looking for. She listens and asks questions. I am confident that if I continue to work with her, she will get me my forever match.

Wish I would have done my homework better and saw these reviews here. Save your money. The person in sales painted a very nice picture was very responsive spent a lot of time with me but once they had my money it became a different story. I was explaining there'll be 24 matches. Later I found out it's match opportunities, so if I don't accept the match that they give me I just lost that match. The first guy was really not what I was looking for just in photo and description. The second guy was better the date was set up and he no-showed. No response from anybody at the company two days later I finally found out he had a flight change. That matchmaker was not very good at communicating in fact I didn't hear from her for 2 weeks after I was stood up. I got a new matchmaker who was better, the first date they gave me was okay but I went on it because I knew I would lose that match if I didn't and I had to trust the process. However that date also failed to show, said he was stuck in traffic. I asked for a refund and was told someone to get back in 48 hours, however it's been exactly one week and I finally spoke with someone who said a refund's not possible because they can still give me opportunities. They are escalating me to someone who might be able to help me but said they don't do refunds. Did I mention the service cost $5,000? So I'm currently disputing it with my credit card company. More pathetic than online dating ever was

I have been using IJL for about 3 months. It is a pleasure to work with Amber. I have been presented with three matches and been on one date. Another date is being scheduled. Benihana was a terrific spot for a date and the restaurant was expecting us.

While I don't recommend It's Just Lunch at all, my experience with Elliot as a match maker has been wonderful! He is by far the best Match maker I have worked with at IJL and I have worked with quite a few. He has a nice calm, caring energy that is so needed in this line of work. I highly recommend Elliot.
Thoroughly enjoyed dates with Mary and Diane,
Both were personable engaging and both dates were attractive well grommed and well dressed.
Both had advanced degrees and are very intelligent which made for excellent wide ranging conversations Diane and I had many shared interests and I think this relationship will go further
Went to a Christmas party with Mary the next day. Shes out of town for a while but will probably see her again. Diane and I exchanged contact info and I have already called her about our next date.

I just had my first "It's Just Lunch" date last night but it was "just dinner". I met a delightful guy with whom I had an easy conversation in a Lincoln Center area restaurant. Any nervousness I felt about "venturing out there" again was lessoned by the professionalism of my experience with "It's Just Lunch"

Tailored, personal, professional, it's definitely an elegant matchmaking process. It's far away from the Apps experience which could be misleading and dangerous
