My daughter received the iPad 4 years ago when she was 8 and she couldn't remember the Id and password. I recently ordered the iCloud removal service from this scam company. After 3 days they sent me an email said that they couldn't do it as my iPad is lost/stolen. Guess what? I still keep the original box and also the receipt from Target. They just scam people and will not reply to your mail. Their sister site clencheck.me is also a big scam. I tried many different imei, all came invalid until you pay, then suddenly became lost/stolen. I will dispute the charge with my bank and also call apple to report them. Apple needs to do something as iphoneimei use their products to scam people.
I belive their policies, although hyped as free or low cost are actually a bait and switch type of consumers being misslead. The first round is 2£ and you cant get a refund, to recoup any value you must continue to pay thru 2 more levels of charges and be besieged by efforts to make you pay more for expedited service. It did ultimately work but the process was very off putting. Do I still get the 3 quid?
Everything happened as promised! I was previously aware of the circumstances, and do wish that there was a way to straight to the premium services... but beyond that I am beyond happy to be able to use my phone properly again! Thanks!
Their "price sheet" says $28, but then they ask you for $130 after that. Total scam site, don't use them. Go to Ebay, there are plenty of services for a quarter of the price. If they weren't so scammy and more upfront, they could get more business.
They claimed it would get done in 1-3 days, but took nearly 10, and first charged me 20 pounds and then a few days later asked for another 25 pounds to complete the process. I would be fine if they were just upfront about the fullcost and true timelines, but of course then I would have gone elsewhere. They also will not refund you unless it takes more than 30 days, which is just ridiculous for how long it takes to unlock a phone these days. Neither the fastest nor the cheapest option, and don't offer any way of reaching them when there is a significant delay.
Honestly at first I was a bit skeptical but I definitely do not regret using this. I had such a problem with my locked phone from Sprint and I just happened to fall upon iphoneimei.net and I can't thank this service enough. Did not take long at all and now my phone is officially unlocked. Couldn't be happier!
iphoneimei.net did not inform me prior to the payment that i was only purchasing a pre-ordering service. Iphoneimei.net made me believe that i was buying the unlock itself.
Before paying Iphoneimei.net did NOT inform about purchasing a pre-ordering service. Instead Iphoneimei.net makes the customer believe that he is buying the unlock service.
Now they refusing to refund the payment and did not provide the promised unlock service. So I paid 30 USD for nothing.
It's not always possible to find uncompromising service from a company you've never heard of. Even web reviews don't always tell the whole picture. But my recent experience with iPhoneIMEI proved to me that they are honest and reliable. I mistakenly paid for a service which they couldn't provide because of my fault, not theirs. They immediately advised me that they couldn't unlock the phone I had provided and gave me a full voucher to unlock a different phone. I tried and it worked. The service was fast, the communications was superb, and I'll certainly look forward to coming to them in the future with any similar need.
Be aware this scam: first it says only cost you $28 for unlock but it only provides simple answer which you can find it in the internet. Then it asks you to pay another $42 for real unlock work. Last it says you phone can'be unlocked unless you pay another premium $100. I am scared. What do I do? Can I trust it and pay or stay away from it?
I do not recommend this service to anyone, as it's not very clear how much you will pay at the end. This service will cost you more than if go to any local mobile shop, as you will make the first payment just for checks and than the next payment will be as twice as much for the unlocking. I fell really stupid for trying this and not listening to my wife.
Bad customer service never answers back.
Made my first payment £20 in 11/11/2017.
Made my second payment £95 in 13/11/2017.
Never got my sprint device unlocked. Once they replied back it said: Sprint unlocking turned off internationally. Now it started, you are on the list. You can jump to the top of the queue with our FastTrack service for just £10.
And I don't know how many people scummed by these jerks.
This is a complete scam. I ordered the service for $28 then when It didn't work they prompted me to pay more which I was fine with so I did. Then they said it was unlocked but I can't get a signal meaning they think it's blacklisted which isn't true since the swappa website they recommended said it wasn't and also att whom I bought the phone with said it wasn't blacklisted which I'm the one that bought it so I knew this, it was just a past due balance. Now they've changed their website name and won't respond to emails. I don't think they even actually unlock phones they just take the money and pretend they're doing. This service isn't worth the time headache don't use it
The price advertised is not what you end up paying. The initial price is to "prepare" for an unlock. Then you have to pay double the initial amount. IPhone 6 did get eventually unlocked, but I paid triple of what I could have paid had I only asked the provider to unlock it. Once you pay the initial amount though, it seems like a waste not to continue. Also unlock took over half a month (read over 15 days). BEWARE. 2 stars only because the phone got eventually unlocked so it isn't a complete scam.
I tried with an iPad and it didn't work so they gave me a voucher that didn't work later for an iPhone. I wrote to them but received just automatic emails with stupid answers, but nothing explaining why the voucher doesn't work or giving me a soluition, or a refund.
After 6 months of waiting they finally said they cant unlock my phone and wont give refund money. Offered to give me a free unlock on different phone. They cant unlock first device why would I try again
This is borderline scam. First of all you can unlock your own phone for free. Second if they don't unlock your phone they don't refund and you have to request your money back... However their contract is written so that you will not get your money back. They are scamming people when they cannot unlock devices.
Be careful! They tricked me! Never unlocked my iPhone and I haven't received refund!
My phone is locked from AT&T, I paid 28$ for unlock and few days after I received email they can't do that and I have never gotten my money back. I requested my refund 3 times, never even received answer from them.
Thieves!
Tried to unlock an SE with them / first the price was 19.99 then they asked for an additional 25 / then after 4 days response was the phone cannot be unlocked because it does not have 6 months since activation ( they specify nobody can unlock it).
But then - surprise / they request another 60 with the promise it will be unlocked.
They just mentiones that it can't be unlocked and then want another 60...
Wasted 45 pounds / no answers to emails / no phone number and nothing...
I had tried to unlock a blacklisted iphone 7 plus. However the seller had sold me a stolen phone and I was stuck. IphoneIMEI was my only option and within a day they responded stating they couldnt do it and had given me a refund back and I got another iphone which was locked and could use the same money for my new phone. Within a day again they unlocked it and I was able to use it with my desired Carrier! Thank you!
This is just big scammer
Living on cheating people, this charged me 20 UK pound and after one day they ask for another 100 UK pounds. Bank also refuse to refund and want to me to change the credit card for around 40 pound, my card is 2 weeks only and i have to change it because of those scammer
Answer: No they don't. They just take your money and not unlocked anything.
Answer: Nobody, friend
