Last week I had my first job interview in years and I was pretty nervous because I haven't had many in my life at all.

I had been in mu most current role for 9 years. It was really helpful to use the worksheets and follow the process when interviewing. It made me more confident and had a good understanding as to what I should do in the interview. Even though I still had similar problems (talking too much and too long), I know it and make a conscious effort to be succinct and crisp in my answers.

The self-assessment was very helpful as it gave you a place to start in a positive way, working from your strengths. I hope that I am on the home stretch and will find a position better suited to my strengths.

The self-assessment report and customized interview responses, in no uncertain terms, describe me to a tea. I've taken the M. A. P. P. assessment and, until now, was happy with the 75% that I agreed with. I used to think it was a fairly good descriptor of who I am, but more interesting to read than useful but it pales in comparison next to the two reports ISF generated about me Not only did ISF nail me and the worker that I am, it worded everything in a brief, easily understood way that will be highly usable for me in many aspects. No part of either report sounds canned or too "smooth" to be believable. Bottom line? I no longer fear having to sell myself, which, until now, has always been difficult for me. Best money I've ever spent--by far!

I knew I had good skills to offer but believed I could not sell myself during an interview. I also didn't really understand interview etiquette.
I learned that it's ok to ask the interviewer a question on a small talk level. I connected with one interviewer since I knew she had worked the previous night shift, asking how her night went and thanked her for staying late to conduct the interview. I had worked for one company for 33 years when they closed the local office and I was forced to retire.
