Please make the decision to try the Interview Success program. It works. I had been a RN at the same facility for over 16 years. When I was hired there, I sat in front of a nurse manager and we had a nice chat. Things have changed! Today, (in my experience) interviews consist of a hiring committee that ask a series of behavioral questions. I have A LOT of experiences but I have never sat and thought about retelling them. This program helps narrow down what to recall and helps you to streamline your employment 'story'. Again... It works.

I got a new job recently at the best military financial organization in the country, and I owe it all to you.

I took the assessment and used those results to formulate my answers to the 20 most popular questions asked. As luck would have it, they only asked about 3 or 4 of those in the 6+ hours of interviews I went through, however formulating those answers and going over them repeatedly gave me the confidence to answer anything that came at me.

The various subjects presented both by Alan and Lisa Rangel have been helpful. I look forward to possibly receiving some feedback on my resume which is in the process of being consolidated by another entity. It is more apt to be accomplishments but not in terms of percentages, etc. As a staff nurse in the past, it is difficult to quantify accomplishments in terms of increases in this or that when working for a large entity.

I look forward to some feedback from either Alan or Lisa when my consolidated resume has been forwarded to me.

Knowing yourself and how to communicate and apply your strengths and weaknesses is the key to this program. Like others, I already have some great job experience, and forget that employers today are just as likely to choose someone with less experience and who are a better fit for their company. Having the Self Assessment Report and Interview Crib Sheet helped me understand my potential contribution to a company. If you apply the principles of the course and own it you will succeed. Every interview and interviewer is different so don't get wrapped around the axle about the specific questions they may or may not ask. Get a feel for the theme and use the answers Alan provides as a guide for a natural flowing personable response to their questions. You are selling yourself and not a can of rehearsed answers.
I got the job and compensation I needed with only the second company I interviewed with. (Four interviews by the way). I would highly suggest rehearsing.

I stumbled upon the site, and have found the Self Assessment to be right on and I really like the crib sheet as well. I've read several of the articles that should help bring me up to speed, since I have not had to look for a job in 11 years.
