I have spent countless hours trying to get in touch with someone compentent including the superstore that apparently is these clowns for their deliveries without making it clear to their customers.
Over half my order was much cheaper subsities when selected" no substitutes" when ordering on superstores website and even to the actual shopper who texted me when he started shopping my order.
I was given cheaper alternative products but still charged for the expensive product that I originally ordered. Example I was charged for cotton candy grapes 1.5 lbs for $22.65 and I received about $6.00 worth of PC brand green grapes, that's just one of over half of my ordered items I was ripped off for, I filed complaints and demanded refunds from them and only recieved a 6.06 credit in my next shop, I'm livid superstore isn't any better they completely wiped their hands of it saying insta cart has nothing to do with them, even though my order was place on their website like I normally do for pickup but I selected delivery this time because if the wait times. There was absolutley no mention of a 3rd party doing the delivery or processing my payment. I will be reporting these scammers to the authorities.

I ordered almost $85 in groceries only to come home and find PediaSure dog Milk Bones and heating pad in front of my door I dont evem have A DOG none of my groceries were at my door when I got here they had dropped it off 8 minutes before I
I plan to come home and cook dinner for my kids to only find those items at my door I was so infuriated I spent two hours trying to find a phone number to call in some chat line to talk to somebody and I was unable to reach anybody I have now been on a chat on their help website since 6 p.m. it is now midnight terrible customer service now I have to call my bank and dispute the transaction to get my money back so disappointed I think their customer service is so poor I will never use this service again could just take somebody's money especially when we're going through a pandemic to leave my kids hungry without their groceries because this person screwed up terrible and then when I go on to the chat it says they're 6,000 people in front of me I'm I hate this place I would never use this again SARA U Suck...

I'm done, after the fourth time. OMG, totally unbelievable. I logged into my account to review the charges only to discover to my disbelief that the driver had taken a photo of my house and posted on their website/my account page. I was absolutely livid. I was aware the driver had taken the photo and I did not give them permission to take a photo of my home. Also, tired of the overcharging for food and disgusted by the amount they authorized on your card for your purchases. I actually purchased 49.00 worth of food, they authorized 90.00 on my bank account and I won't get the difference back for 7 days. I will find another way of having my food delivered. I was only trying to stay out of the stores because of Covid-19. However, this is taking advantage of shoppers. Buyer Beware!

Nothing is ordinary right now, but Instacart is responding with the corporate version of throwing their hands in the air and run screaming. The customer service phone number has a recording saying, basically, we don't take calls any longer. My chat is still waiting for a response 26 hours later. The website instructs to click on "Report a problem." I think they've removed that section of the website. My order from 4 days ago was just canceled because it had been too long and they would not be able to fill it. They did tell me I could reorder, and get back in at the end of the line, taking my chances that my order might get filled in the next five days.

I decided to try instacart for the first time. They gave me a 2-hour window. I waited but nothing. I checked and they moved the time another hour so I said okay and wait in another hour. Now it's been 3 hours I look at my phone and they canceled my order no explanation nothing. And they have the nerve to put a 5% tip on my payment when they can't even deliver on their goods.

PERFECT SCAM

This is perfect scam. Ordered 40$ worth of products for which tips, service charges, delivery fees etc were 20$, but the websites stated that they had disinfecting wipes and we are out of them. So, went ahead and ordered it. But they did not have wipes, and other items I needed the most and ended up with items worth 12$. So eventually, paid 20$ of service fees etc for 12$ worth of organic milk, 1 gallon, so eventually 1 gallon milk ended up costing me 32$, costliest milk I ever bought in my life.
They will not tell you what items are available until they start "shopping" at which time you cannot cancel the order.
BTW, they dont have chat and their phones don't work

After about 50 tries i finally got an order in. The shopper delivered the order and i failed to unpack and check the items a big error. The shopper bought two frozen dinners i didn't order. I can't return the Wrong food, because the shopper fails to deliver the store receipt. I received a prompt refund, but had to deal with two poor TV diners. To save another trip to the store, I placed a 2nd order the next week. It took three days to get a shopper. This woman marked my milk found and I can only assume it was purchased. But it was not in my bags so it must have ended up in her car trunk. I marked no substitutions on the other items and there weren't any. I also had to guide the woman to my condo building since she got lost. Instacart refunded the items not found, but not the milk. There were two charges pending on my credit card which I'll have to monitor, another problem to deal with. My feedback to them was not kind. No one answers phone calls. So beware, "you pays your money and you takes your chances".

No MASKS?

The Instacart shoppers at the Schnucks grocery store in St. Louis, MO, were the only ones in the store not wearing face masks this morning. The manager said that they are not Schnucks employees, and they can choose whether to wear a mask. This is inexcusable.

On March 21,2020 I placed an order
To be delivered on the 22nd at Costco using instacart services; Adriana check mark that she had "delivered it" at my home address, when I went to my home camara not even a shadow of this person placing anything on my front door; I never received the purchase items after trying to contact instacart via email and phone number with no one to follow up my situation I decided to report a claim to the FTC. NEVER AGAIN WILL ORDER USING Instacart!
Customers don't trust them!

I agree with the other low raters here! I tried Instacart today for the first time, and it was definitely a bad experience! The shopper woman made several mistakes, charged me too much, and now I have to wait up to 7 days for my adjustment from the $170 the co. Automatically charges to get started. Scary to think I won't be getting this refund because of everything else negative from today! NEVER AGAIN!

I placed a $50 food order for Sprouts market thru instacart. They delivered my order to the wrong address (after teexting me they had delivered to my address) when my house street number as well as the number of the house they delivered to was clearly visable form the street. I spent an hour walking around my neighborhood looking for my groceries and found them sitting outside the wrong house. I have no idea who or how many people handled them. To make matters worse there were wrong items in the bag and spolied produce. Trying to get anyone from Instacart to respond has proven to be impossible. No phone support and no response to my email. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I have used this service twice now. Half my order did not show up. Bags torn and holes in frozen chicken breasts. Bagged bread with canned goods. Replaced mac and cheese with a huge brick of Velveeta cheese (no pasta). Took the driver 30 minutes to drive 2.5 miles, most of the cold foods were defrosted.

Tried giving them, one more chance. This time $40 worth of groceries that WAS charged was NOT delivered. After contacting instacart, they will not refund, only credit instacart account. Fighting them to get my money back, because i will NEVER EVER use this horrible company to deliver anything to me again.

BAIT AND SWITCH

I AM ISOLATED / QUARANTINED IN A SENIOR CITIZEN APARTMENT BUILDING WITH NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO BRING ME GROCERIES. I AM 83 YEARS OLD. I WAS ADVISED BY THE CONCIERGE TO USE INSTACART TO BUY GROCERIES FOR ME AND DELIVER THEM TO ME. THE CONCIERGE MADE THE FIRST ORDER FOR ME THAT WAS TO BE DELIVERED THURSDAY MORNING AND THE ORDER FINALLY CAME SATURDAY AFTERNOON. OF WHAT I ORDERED MOST ITEMS HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH DIFFERENT ITEMS OF DIFFERENT BRANDS, AND I WAS CHARGED FOR ITEMS NOT DELIVERED TO ME. WHEN I CALLED THE STORE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY KINDLY CHECKED AND INFORMED ME THAT ALL ITEMS HAD BEEN AVAILABLE BY BRAND AND COST IN THEIR AD FOR THAT WEEK THAT HAD NOT CHANGED. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STORE PRICES AND INSTACART PRICES I WAS CHARGED WITH DELIVERY FEE. TAXES. AND TIP SHOWED A DIFFERENCE OF SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT. I WAS CHARGED FOR 4 ITEMS NOT DELIVERED. ALL ITEMS I ORDERED WERE ON SALE IN THE GROCERY STORES WEEKLY AD. I TRIED TO TEXT OR CALL FOR FEEDBACK AS WAS INDICATED. TEXT WOULD NOT GO THROUGH AND 16 CALLS DID NOT ANSWER. NOW I NEED GROCERIES AGAIN, BUT I CAN NOT AFFORD OR WAIT ON INSTACART.

I was online with virtual shopper letting me know, no worries she was able to get almost everything and within 10 minutes of talking to her she put in that my order was delivered. Absolutely no way did I receive my groceries, I am at least 25 minutes from any of the 3 Aldi's in my area. I was not able to get through to customer service phone hung up and you will not get through to their chat 2 hours later no response. I had to contact my credit card company to report this fraud charge. Thank-god they reversed this charge. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DURING THIS PANDEMIC!

I placed 6 order in March 2020. The first four were fine in every way. The fifth order was delivered with no bags, and 16 items were placed on my garage floor, as the shopper advised me he had no bags, along with a bit about his financial troubles. When I checked my receipt later, I had been charged 70cents for bags I never got. My sixth order: threw away half rotting sliced mushrooms, threw away 1/2 each of the cucumbers I received as they were soft, and, instead of the cabbage I ordered, I got a head lettuce. Also, I had typed out a question for this shopper and never got an answer. He didn't even ring the bell to see if I was home, just left all on the front porch, and made his way off as quickly as possible. My first four orders all rated five stars. This is a great service and I tip generously in appreciation, but my last two shoppers left a lot to be desired.

They delivered the wrong order and some missing online charge is twice the actual items that i received. I had to insist that the delivery person would give me a receipt.
