The company has garnered mixed feedback from customers, with positive remarks highlighting the variety of surveys and the potential to earn extra cash. However, significant concerns overshadow these strengths, primarily revolving around prolonged payment processing times and difficulties in receiving rewards. Customers frequently report frustrations with survey accessibility and completion, as well as inadequate customer support when issues arise. The overall sentiment suggests that while the platform offers opportunities for earning, the execution of payouts and responsiveness to customer inquiries require substantial improvement to enhance user satisfaction and trust.

I am a member of Swagbucks, survey junkie, and vindale research. I joined inbox dollars last week. I busted a#s and in 1week achieved the$30payout. I cashed out via paypal. They said it would be a week for payment, and gave me another $5 bonus. I went back later that day and found my account was TERMINATED! They said I was a bot and something about VPNs? I dont know what this is! I am a 56 year old tech stupid person. I contacted them via chat and they said sorry we cant give you details. This is blatent THEFT! All that would join dont waste your time. Inbox dollars is a scam. Survey junkie is waaaay better. You can make $10-$20 a day easily. I have made almost $1500 YTD. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of inbox dollars!
I was with InBoxDollars for almost exactly 9 years. God only knows why I stuck with them that long. They informed me yesterday that I could only take surveys from Peanut Labs and when I tried to do that this morning I was kicked out of every one of them. When I was asked to give feedback on my delightful experience I said I thought I had been rejected due to age discrimination. At that point my account was abruptly and permanently locked. I have a little over $24 in my account, but I need six dollars to cash in. They've paid me exactly 10 times in all these years and the last time was March of 2019. So... the little..."bums" are going to cheat me out of money I've to acquire for more than a year. They are just the worst. I had a better experience at Toluna and they were pretty bad.
They deleted my account and kept all of my money! For no reason other than they are fake and a scam! Thought this money would come in handy during this pandemic and instead it is not even real. It is all a scam, beware! Stay away! Use your time wisely!
Extremely poor customer service. I could only speak to them via online chat - which becomes email correspondence. I was told that my issue (I deposited the Inbox Dollars check and it was returned to my bank, causing me to be charged $19 for a return fee) had to be escalated to the Accounting Department, and that I would hear back in 24-48 hours. 6 days later I contacted Inbox Dollars again, to be told they would create a follow up ticket for the Accounting Department and that I would hear from them in 24 hours. More than 24 hours later, I received a generic response of "we are not responsible for bank fees - please refer to member service agreement when you initially signed up". Utter bull$#*!!
They want you to take a survey before every survey to see if your related to the subject. You get 25 cents for a 15 minute survey, so about 75 cents a hour when said and done, this is a pitiful joke and total waste of time
They "gave" me $5, then it looked like i'd have to sell my soul and personal info for each $0.02 after that.
SURPRISE! You don't actually get paid until you earn $30 at slave wages after you give up personal info. SCAM!
80% of my time on InboxDollars took me to surveys to fill out that would quit out after 5 minutes without a cash reward. Spent 30 minutes doing this today after joining the site yesterday. Waste of time. I just now wrote a review for a survey site. Gouge my eyes out with a screwdriver - this is sad.
I have just arrive 30 dollards and close my account without having done anything... absolute scam. Don't waste your time. I hope that someone close this site for the best... the sooner, the better
Avoid at all costs, will steal what you earn, refuses to pay, respond or support. If you complain, you are blocked from all avenues of communications, membership canceled, and they embezzle your funds. Have a civil/criminal complaint of FRAUD filed 4/27/2020 with State of Florida's State Attorneys office.
Fed up with these $#*!s... Time for a class action suit!
More than a few times not paid for completed surveys. Nothing done about it! Basically told it wasn't their problem.
A LOT of surveys are much longer than what they say - and you can be disqualified halfway through a survey AFTER you've already spent 10 minutes filling it out.
It took me about 15 hours on surveys to earn my first payout, which was only $40... and then they took another 3 weeks before sending me the money via PayPal.
After that, I tried to be more picky about which surveys to take, so I didn't waste so much time. I spent another 4 hours on surveys to earn a measly $13, and then they CANCELED my account. They claimed I violated Terms and Conditions, but NO SPECIFIC REASON was given.
So they're keeping my $13, AFTER I spent hours on their surveys. I bet they do this to a LOT of people.
Bottom line: Don't waste your time. The pay is horrendously bad AND it's a borderline scam in my opinion. (also, you get TONS of junk mail)
Absolute scam. They tempt you by giving you 5 us, then at 29 they deactivate the account.
Joos... what else.
I completed each one of the task and magically they said that I only completed 86% when it came close to the time to receive my pay out! I am going to report them to the EEOC and the BBB for fraud. I am entitled to a $545.00 pay out and now they are stating that I am not getting paid. I do not shop online and they are trying to make me shop and to give out my personal information to third parties for their own gain. What it is, is ROBBERY without a gun, or pimping people that is trying to make a little extra money. Some people rely on them to get paid and they NEVER pay! This is a totally SCAM for Inboxdollars benefit only!
There is no reason to ever consider enrolling in any kind of program that demands participants to pay their money to the program in order to make money. This is nothing more than a technologically proficient envelope stuffing scheme that attracted the same type of victims 20 years ago that are now realizing they've been victimized by this joke of an effort to hook unsuspecting consumers into slaving away for pennies where the sponsors and the founders of this absurd scheme take advantage of economically challenged individuals at every possible turn. Now, can I get my 2.5 cents that I've earned writing this or is there a 1.5 cent fee and a catch that turns my 1 penny left into credit for a lottery ticket?
I've used IB before and though it DOES pay, it takes forever for you to get $30. The surveys are too long and pay too little. I've switched to Survey Junkie. It's a $5 minimum pay out which you get the same day, and yes you'll be charged a HEFTY 5 cents. The only drawback to that is that you HAVE to redeem the $5 dollars before you can continue with more surveys. Some of the surveys you qualify for, some you don't. But after you redeem your payout, your surveys open back up immediately. Oh, and it takes all of 3-5 minutes to receive your money through PayPal if you have an account. Not days, (well, it takes about a day if you're sending it to your bank), but it only takes minutes with PayPal and you reach $5 fairly quickly.
I have used this site about 2 years. I received my first cash fairly fast. Once you get your first cash out, you will notice that it is much harder to earn going forward. Recently they have capped how much you can earn daily for activities like the games section, giving you an 'aw, snap!" blocker telling you that you maxed out after earning a whopping 15 cents. The also started something new of requiring your phone number in order to request a cash out. I had to do this and now I am getting flooded with robo calls to my phone that is registered with the Do Not Call list. Their site claims they only need your number to 'verify' your account but of course they do not need a phone number to mail you a check. They claim your info is confidential but that is just a bald faced lie. Everything about that site is about selling your info, opening you to bogus surveys that ask for things like your Facebook log in, etc-- that is just a poor attempt at identity theft. Oh, and while we are on the subject of surveys, I used to work in the survey industry. Once a survey asks for your demographic information, it is finished enough for that survey to use to get paid from their client. However, the surveys on the Inbox Dollars site will have you complete the whole survey, then ask for the demographics, then you get a message saying you didn't qualify. YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE SURVEY. It is completely wrong and fraudulent to collect the survey and then claim the person doing the survey didn't qualify. Inbox Dollars is getting paid for a completed survey, they just aren't paying the user for it. It is a tedious waste of time and recently I am seeing a lot of complaints from people who have earned enough to finally cash out and when they go to cash out they are told that their account is not valid and Inbox Dollars won't pay them. Go to their Facebook page and read all the negative comments posted daily. It is not worth your time and they will waste your time and keep changing the requirements so you will never cash out.
This company really does pay! I got my first $27.00, yes, they have to take a $3.00 of few out of the $30. I did get my money to my PayPal. I'm waiting on my $60 now. Be getting it on the 18th. Idc what y'all say. This company pays!
You spend hours doing surveys for $30 and then they cancel your account. You only get automated responses. They make money from advertisers and don't pay you.
This site is not legit, or possibly it is and someone has hacked in. Beware. There is no way Target would partner with this site and offer a thousand dollar gift card for nothing. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
I completed many of the cash offers and they refuse to pay. Gave me bogus excuses like my cookies are not working. However, get paid for the ones under $5. They are scammers and owe me me $80. I have reported to the BBB. Beware!
Answer: I have been a member for over 10 years. I get my $30 payout every single time. I always request a check. They tell you the day your check will be processed and then send you an email when it's mailed. I've received $30 about every 6 weeks. This completely legitimate.
Answer: It's actually a legit company. I've been rewarded from them about 10 times so far!
Answer: Inbox MIGHT have paid 35 million (and we only have your word on that)--question is how much did they NOT PAY which was due to participants
Answer: No it isn't. It's legit. It just takes forever to reach 30 bucks and they keep 3 bucks. I got one check from them for 27. It's just something i do once in a while. Clicking on emails and answering surveys if i do qualify which is very rarely. You won't get rich doing that..
Answer: Hi Kristin! Members can always request a payment with InboxDollars when they reach $30.00. If a member ever has a missing credit from a survey provider, offer provider or other advertiser you can always reach out to our 24/7 LiveChat for assistance!
Answer: Hi! So glad you love the site! To help clarify the terms as shown to you when you joined about the W9 requirements you can check here: http://www.inboxdollars.com/pages/terms Section VI. Cash & Payments Item 4. Tax Matters I would recommend that you reach out to LiveChat agent via our Support Center link and ask that your inquiry be sent to the accounting team who can address this information directly with you.
Answer: Dear John, Please note that your account is credited as soon as your credit is sent by the offer provider. You mentioned that you have been completing offers on Mindspay and InboxPAYS so if you have completed the offer before with those sites then they will not credit again for the same offer. We do show your account has been credited for other offers so most likely if you are missing credits on InboxDollars than it was most likely due to being credited for the same offer on InboxPays or other site. Please note that our offers will credit as our terms state usually within 14 - 30 days. More information can be found here: http://www.inboxdollars.com/pages/terms
Answer: No they don't pay daily. They pay you by check or a visa card that can be used to purchase items but no cash back. If you looking to generate income off of your own money then this the site.
Answer: This is one of the questions I pondered when I was taken for a ride by Inboxdollars. While NO ANSWER WAS FORTHCOMING FROM THE USUAL PARADE OF... supporters and staff there (look at the "repeat defenders of this atrocious business, I THINK you can safely assume it's gone to pay those who sit there and ENABLE THIS THEFT TO CONTINUE... i. e. The EMPLOYEES. Not sure whether they pool all the TAKES, and divvy it up at days end HEY KIDS, HERE'S YOUR BONUS, or if it goes to the top of the food chain (top canine). Otherwise I'm not sure what's in it for those "participants" who respond so quickly propping up/fiercely defending the indefensible business ethics of INBOXDOLLARS - one might logically or reasonably assume they're rewarded with FIRST CRACK AT THE NEW SURVEYS, with seldom a reject slip. But who knows. Perhaps you can ask THOSE individuals or the little worker bees on computers that enable this to go on, day in/day out. On the other hand, if any 'supporters/employees of this business told me it was raining... I'd look out the window BEFORE I grabbed my umbrella.
